Yes, these panels have an associated cost, that may seem high on the surface, but Ive found them to add so much immersion. I have multiple stream deck devices placed in their corresponding positions in the cockpit for comms panel, transponder, ecam control etc etc. There are other options, even free, but they dont compare to the profiles that Flight Panels offers. These are so much more complete, are often updated, and cover a lot of aircraft. The consistency of one developer is also an advantage
If you learn to program them it costs nothing at all and there are loads of RUclips videos which show you how to program them Les Reilly is a good set of videos for streamdeck. I’ve even programmed Typhoon, A400M, C17 and Hercules it’s awesome
I have quite a few of these,I started with his super bundle for the fénix to start when he had the 30 percent off cyber Monday deal.. Loved them so much I went crazy with the BOGO Christmas/New Years sale.. Richard and his small team do an excellent job keeping them updated.. I find the Airbus ones are better laid out than the Boeing ones I will probably get used to the Boeing ones once I know where all the buttons are… I bought a second XL so I can have 1 for aero lens and one for the plane panel. Only wish would be full complete panel set for the A380… I love flight panels I don’t have deal with the hassle of programming Richard and Keith are super responsive in their discord… Highly Recommended flight panels!!
I got a 2nd Stream Deck XL yesterday. Those panels are great BUT very pricey. 25€ for a single plane panel is just too much. I'm sticking to the free panels. Maybe if you use 2-3 panes tops, but the panel costing half of what the plane cost is just absurd.
It’s not bad when you get them on a sale I got a bunch on the Christmas sale when they were BOGO got full airline panel and the matching aero lens for 24 bucks heck of a deal IMO. Basically plug and play
Try to create the sets of panels for one airliner by hand by yourself, and you'll get an idea of the man-hours required to produce these a amazing panels. In actuality, I consider $24 to be an unbelievable bargain. Admittedly, one can't buy all the panels available, but if a user does almost all flying on one type of plane, the price is negligible.
@@Buddy308 I agree with that sentiment.. Programming a streamdeck In depth the way these panels are would be a painstaking process, not to mention keeping up with bugs and updates. I’m not savvy enough to to do the level of programming that’s in these panels I have Fénix 320 , Headwind330 , PMDG 737 and 777 panels plus the matching aero lens profile for them plus the profile launcher and the a380 autopilot and aero lens
Could you perhaps provide us with a brief explanation on how to use Spad Next to set up your view/camera controls in MSFS 2024, similar to how you did the helicopter trim release tutorial? Right now, it's the only thing preventing me from using all of Spas Next's controls.
I tried the free app version before considering the purchase of a physical streamdeck. I can see the utility of the software for miscellaneous things outside the aircraft (ground handling etc) but found it to be a total immersion killer inside the flight deck. All the effort aircraft devs put into recreating the 3D panels and views goes to waste if you access the O/H, MCDUs/FMCs, Centre console/Radio stack et al through push-buttons on a tiny desktop piece of hardware. It simply takes away any suspension of disbelief we try so hard to achieve while desk flying. Personal opinion. YMMV.
If you start to make your own panels then you can have it so it will go to camera view of the panel you want to work with, example OVH, press the key on the streamdeck for OVH and the camera displays the OVH panel, does take a bit getting used too, but no need for a mouse any more.
Save your money...see my comment above about Touch Portal. There is nothing Touch Portal does worse than Stream Deck. And it's drag and drop for button configurations. SO easy.
Thanks for the video. Wow it is really expensive for a glorified keyboard. I can already accomplish all of these functions with keyboard shortcuts and mouse clicks. At 5 bucks a panel and $25 for all of them I'd say maybe but then again I would have to think about it.

Yes they are Great. I've had one for a while now
Can you show how you turn it on or activate into the sim
Literally you just launch the aircraft and select the profile in the StreamDeck software. Super simple
@ perfect, thanks
@@dasaniman1I've been doing this for years. I would be happy to help if you need it.

i agree, Way too Much for some macros and pretty icons, with a little work and knowing the keyboard commands you can knock out your own pretty quick

@@jerrydeanswanson79 The stream deck mobile app is free
Can you create and/or modify your
own panels?
You can move things around to your liking but if they update something you will have to do the same again when they do update…
