  • In this tutorial video I show and describe the entire process used to make a bullseye tie dye shirt. If you are having a tie dye party or if you are a beginner - this is a great design to learn. I used various shades of pink and purple, but you can use whatever colors you choose.

    I’m so in love with amethyst these days. This is a great pattern for the kiddos. No pleats to fuss with with their littles fingers. Well, this pattern is great for anyone, but you know what I mean. As the weather warms up little ones will be tie dyeing more so this is a perfect tutorial. Another great tutorial. Thank you! ☺️❤️🌈

    A simple design that is perfect for what I'm tie-dyeing for a friend. I used a spun out shirt and I think I did a good job with saturation, we'll see how turns out tomorrow.

      If the shirt has been soaked in soda ash, you can add the dye once the shirt is dry without re-soaking the shirt.
      I use Procion Fiber Reactive dye, but I know that some dyes have different instructions. You should follow the instructions for the type of dye that you are using to get the best results.

    how do you apply your dye without having spreading one colour to the other section

    • @FunEndeavors
      @FunEndeavors  3 года назад +1

      It's really tough to get the shirt well saturated and not to have some of the dye move into another section. I usually just plan for this to happen.

    I always love your shirts that you do. I just looked at one of the sites for the dyes. It had a few different sizes in the containers you can purchase. If you wanted to do a rainbow bulls eye, what size would be a good size to buy? If I buy the 2 Oz would that be enough to do 1 shirt?

      Thank you! Yes, if you are using the dyes as a liquid you can get several shirts out of 2 ounce containers. Have fun and let me know how it goes!

    Do you wrap your dyed shirt or put in a covered container while it batches?

    • @FunEndeavors

      I put my liquid dyed shirts into plastic containers that have wire racks in the bottom. The rack keeps the shirts from sitting in any dye runoff. I can usually fit several shirts inside of the container without them touching. Then I put the top on the container so that the shirts don't dry out while they are processing. In the summer, I put the container outside where it gets really hot, but the lid helps keep the direct sunlight from shining on the shirts.
