Beautiful cars and beautiful driving. I wish events like this were more popular here in the US. It seems the majority is caught up in 1200hp this or 2500hp that, which is also amazing and exciting. But for me nothing beats the skill it takes to do things like what we see here and in rally in general.
Rally is somewhat popular here in the PNW. It definitely does need a boost in awareness though. I think most people don't even know about it, but I think if they did, it would be the most popular motorsport in the region.
@@drtm1718 You're exactly right, if people knew about it the popularity would be much higher. Part of me wants it to be more popular so that it continues on and doesn't disappear but the other part of me enjoys the relaxed and casual atmosphere at the events because they're not overcrowded.

Forest rally in usa seems to have quite big crowd nowadays...
But i understand its limited in number of event...
This is peak motorsport, hitting +200 km/h over loose tarmac, midtown streets, night rounds..... and what about the cars; Stratos, Delta Integrale, Celica, Impreza, Lancer Evo, 911, E30, Sierra Cosworth.... absolutely amazing. Thx

This is how i remember the rally era of the late 80's , the era of Lancia Delta Integrale, Audi Quattro and Toyota Celica... those were THE days. Great vid mate, cheers!

First time I´ve seen and heard Group B cars in high quality video and with earphones... MY GOD!! So the stories were real. Those cars were absolute beasts!!! 😱😱😱

Not only that one! Also 037 too. Lancia 037 actually have insane mechanical grip with modern tyres, it is mental for 2wd car. And it is no joke why it was called superb for tarmac rallies back in the day.

This kind of camera work takes a lot of practice and concentration. I was out trying to shoot three different kinds of powersports this summer, plus skateboarding. It takes a while to get in the groove and not lose the competitors out of frame on the fly bys. Looking forward to next season for another go at it.
