The Who - The Seeker

Another song on the forthcoming “Who’s Next” box set, and an unreleased extended version will be making its debut…and possibly rendering this cover in need of a remake at some point…
One of my favorite Who tracks, and honestly, the song that should’ve been the theme song for CSI, not “Who Are You”. This was the first song I played on the SG Special, and I haven’t played it since July 2022. Somehow, I nailed it in one take. Bully for me? (Question mark intentional) This song has a nice grindy riff and fun lyrics. Not much else to say, except I love to play it and it’s a perfect song for an SG Special with P90s! It was pretty easy to get the sound and tone I wanted. Tried with some slap back delay, but it sounded too busy, so I turned up the reverb!
Guitar is 2021 Gibson SG Special, amp is 2021 Fender ‘68 Custom Vibro Champ Reverb and effects are J Rockett Archer IKON overdrive and Catalinbread Topanga Spring Reverb.
