    I just ordered the YU6 speakers. I will be using them to listen to music and connected to my TV. Basically as a second system that I can easily move and take with me.

    I have the K YU6 and u made so much sense of these to relate to them. Seeing you with them in the background with Andrew Jones made me proud that maybe these are exceptional to my start in Audiophile, being new this was my entire budget

    Thanks for this review. Got a (small) bonus this year and decided to set up a system in our small living room. Wanted to keep it simple. Ordered a pair of these and a U-Turn Orbit Custom turntable (plexi platter, Ortofon cartridge). Looking forward to some simple audiophile goodness.

    Young Man U are wise beyond your years. With that being said this hobby is called hi- fi. I am old enough to remember when Mono was the thing , and around the late 50 s stereo was born. This is what our hobby is about. Getting the best sound we can afford and actively listening to the music.. please Don’t loose site of the music.

      True.
      Many times I’ve seen people that doesn’t listen to the music, but just listen how amazing is their hifi setup.
      Very very sad thing.

    I have the og passive Kanto Yumi 5.25" speakers and they sound pretty incredible for $150 CAD but I had to add a sub to get the bass I wanted but then I kinda missed the sound of the punchy bass lol

    Hi Jay, your review is very good, coz it gives me detailed information of what I want to know.
    May I as your opinion, is Yu 4 good for watching tv show or movie from netflix?
    I mean, is the bass is punchy and deep enaogh and the vocal sound is clear enough come up from the conversation in a film from netflix?

    Can you say what is the differences between YU4 vs YU6?

    For the same money ($150-500), a soundbar is a waste of money. They have inferior drivers and cabinets, most times (if not always) only have 2ch with 2 drivers (1L, 1R) and are not two-way, and you end up paying for features like Virtual Surround that your TV already has, or music app support that you already have on your mobile phone.

    Would there be a sound quality difference between the Bluetooth and aux for hooking up to a MacBook?

    • @whiskeyweekly7533
      @whiskeyweekly7533 2 года назад

      Technically, yes but should be totally fine for normal listening. For critical listening, there will be a difference.

    That jiggly speaker stand is the only con of this video. It's distracting and annoyingly "loud".
