    Always have been impressed with Kanto's powered speakers. These passive models look like solid entry-level speakers.

      We agree, Michael! For anyone with a hand-me-down AV receiver or an existing surround sound setup, we think the YU passive series are great entry points into enhanced sound for your TV or two-channel gear. Thanks for watching.

    I hooked these up with aiyima A07 pro and Aiyima T6 Pro preamp . It is a spectacol of music and sound ! Very happy with them , also i hooked up a subwoofer Eris Sub 8 . Nobody can ask for more in a medium size room , really good quality sound , and i heard plenty of floorstanders . These speakers are really detailed and punchy all the same ! Superb combination !

    How would you say the sound compares to the YU4 and YU6 active speakers?

    • @AudioAdvice
      @AudioAdvice  3 года назад +1

      If you connected them up to a very high performance amp, they would be better, but in most cases the self powered units are better since the internal amp is designed for the speakers. If you have any more questions, feel free to reach out to us at www.audioadvice.com, thanks for watching!

    would either of these be suitable for rear surrounds in a 16x21 room with a planned 7.1.4 setup? need something that is white, compact and looks good for WAF. it's 8 feet to rear wall from seating position. also looking at the svs prime satellites

    I want to get these in all white with an all white amp.

      That would be cool, we do not know of a white amp that exists anymore.

      @@AudioAdvice Im considering the Bluesound powernode edge or the Bluesound Powernode in white

      @@TheLWebb100 Ah yes, forgot about that good choice. The Powernode would run them very well. www.audioadvice.com/bluesound-powernode-wireless-music-streaming-amplifier+color-White
