Perfect execution showing how hard it was for Mando to take down a single dark trooper then having Luke come in and basically effortlessly wipe out all of them with next to no difficulty.
It also shows just how overpowered a trained force user is compared to normal people which we sometimes forget because we see from the jedi perspective mostly
@@Tembel_Kopek um... Him or you? Because that is what you seem to be saying. Being emotional is not always a sign of weakness. That said? We live in an age when emotional manipulation in the name of greed, lust or money matters more than silly things like lives, laws or even the future. So, we are seeing far more attempts to make us emotional and most suck. This didn't suck.
43 years. Some of us waited 43 years.... to see Jedi Master Luke Skywalker. Not "farmboy Luke", or "half trained Jedi Luke", or even "Jedi Knight" Luke... but JEDI MASTER SKYWALKER. After Episode VI were the Dark Years... when the story (on screen) stopped. We never got Jedi Master Skywalker. With this episode we finally did. So, it's OK to cry at this one.
Bivouac: Term used mostly by army, backpackers, mountain climbers, etc. It's a temporary shelter set up in a location that is protected from the elements. In the context used in the show, Cara was asking where the dark trooper droids were stored on the ship.
The people who cry in this episode are not fans. They are crying with joy as continuity, story, and Lucas' work is being thoroughly destroyed. Franchise cancer.
Something often overlooked, when Mando removed his helmet and Grogu touched his cheek, that is the first time anyone had touched his face since he took the Creed!
The hallway scene reminded me of Rogue One since it’s a parallel of both Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader. Like father, like son. In case if you didn’t know, the production team used a technology to de-age Luke Skywalker and they used the audio to match his voice from the original trilogy.
At the end of 2020, after everything that happened, this episode was the best thing to happen. You don't realise the collective emotions that people had after this aired.
Great reaction video, Yasmina! This is my favorite episode of The Mandalorian. I'll never forget the firat time I watched it: it was one year after my mom passed away and we were all in lockdown due to the pandemic. It was nearing Christmas and it was so difficult to feel positive about anything. When I watched this episode and Luke Skywalker, my absolute childhood fictional hero, arrived and saved the day, it was so incredibly powerful that he not only saved Grogu and his allies, but he saved me as well; I know there are many others who feel the same way. I cried my eyes out through the last ten minutes of this episode. Seeing R2 as well was so very welcoming. Din revealing his face to Grogu made me feel like I was 7 and sering E.T. for the very first time. What an incredible ending. Thank you Jon and Dave for bringing back hope.
Enjoyed your reaction! Also, this is probably my favorite episode of the show, and there I like pretty much all of them a lot, and the second season was really great. The reveal was so well carried off that it blew me away the first time I watched it when it premiered and it is still so well executed, especially the growing concern on the face of the normally unflappable Moff Gideon.
Other than in the books and comics, no one had ever witnesses Luke at his very peak of his performance until this episode. It was his "Rogue One" moment. Everyone everywhere went crazy over it!
The story about Bo Katan's other mandalorian is, in Episode 11 The Heiress, he died. The hallway scene where Mando ran through blaster fire to throw a thermal detonator at stormtroopers was supposed to be Axe Woves getting shot at and dying saving the rest of the team. If you notice, he's not in the final scene when Bo tells Mando to find Ahsoka Tano. The script for Episode 16 was already written and in preproduction without Axe Woves, so they simply went without his character. By the way, I've been tallying the fanboy, fangirl reaction to the end of the episode. Fanboys are brought to tears when they realize it's Luke Skywalker. Fangirls are brought to tears when Mando takes his helmet off so Grogu can see his face for the first time. Everyone is an emotional wreck when R2-D2 makes his appearance, because, well it's Artoo.
From the moment I saw the Jedi had a gloved hand and a green lightsaber I sobbed like a little girl (I am a large man). Luke revealing his face was the nearest thing to a religious experience I have ever had. *Edited to add*: this is the first video of yours I've seen. You have gained a follower.
bivouac - military term, like a base or encampment. The is a little more after Boba took the throne- announcement of The Book of Boba Fett, that was unknown at the time. Great you were unspoiled for most things, after the Jedi showed up, everyone was talking about it.
The one time when they actually gave us bit more what some of us older fans wanted to see in the Disney Star Wars. Luke fighting against enemies at the peak of his jedi powers. No bitter old man throwing away lightsabers and spending time drinking blue milk coming from some odd creatures chest.
Absolutely, watch the Clone Wars series and Rebels, both are great series and provide all the context needed for the Ahsoka, Boba, Mandalorian and Bad Batch shows! Also, has to be said, the character arcs are phenomenal, they really flush out Anakin's eventual fall, showing the slow build. Ahsoka's character growth is outstanding, the writers took a character most people disliked and turned her into one of the most beloved characters in all of Star Wars! What more needs to be said? We even have our time with Obi-Wan and Yoda, flushing out the characters and of course last but not least, the clones, their arc and growth from nameless, faceless, manufactured soldiers to brothers in arms, whom we care about and want to make it through the war.
The Book of Boba Fett was really good, especially the last 2 episodes, hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did, unfortunately it was cancelled after just one season... or maybe it wasn't even intended to be more than one season...
While you're waiting on *The Book of Boba Fett* , this 30 minute video, on the history of the Mandalorians, would be great to watch. Maybe even do a reaction to. It covers comics, animated shows, the movies and only goes up to the 1st season of Mando. So, no spoilers. And it won't spoil *Clone Wars.* *Mandalorian Documentary | 24,000 Years of Honor* ruclips.net/video/awoqOq-n6CQ/видео.html
Moff was scared shitless ebcause the only Jedi he knows is Luke and there was witnesses of him walking out of the Emperor's throne room with Vader's body. So He thinks Luke killed both the Emperor and Vader.
IMO, when Grogu was meditating on the boulder rock, he was “actually” contacting Luke Skywalker about his rescue. Otherwise, why would Luke Skywalker come to Grogu rescue?? 🤔. Think about it fans!!
Gigantic plot-hole. The whole episode actually contradicts the 6 Lucas movies all over the place. Memberberries made the casuals cheer like sheep, though. Dumbed down franchise for a dumbed down generation.
This finale went so hard, definitely one of my favourite pieces of modern Star Wars Book of Boba is tbh considered one of the worst Star Wars shows, but yes the final 3 episodes are required viewing and lead into later shows.
Book of boba fett is overly hated. Love the whole aboriginal story line and everything with mando is great. The reasons people hate it are petty and meaningless.
@@JustinWillisDevil240Z I don't personally hate it, and also enjoyed the aboriginal arc, but I think for a lot of people the vespa sequence overshadowed any positives about the series lol
@@ofthenearfuture I don't see the vespas as being any different than Vader wearing samurai armor. Its just another cultural aspect pulled into the series.
@@JustinWillisDevil240Z It has nothing to do with what could possibly be 'cultural' about vespas lol, its just about how bad that sequence was written, filmed, edited, and it's terrible CGI

In the concept art for 'that' scene the placeholder for Luke was Plo Koon because he is Dave Filoni's favorite jedi
Dark dubstep in Star Wars, was a surprise, but a welcome one.
This episode had it all. 💖
When Luke was revealed grown men cried, When Dinn revealed his face to his son Fathers cried.

Luke's Rogue One moment in the hallway. Aside from the less than perfect Luke effects, this was a great one. Sets up so much. A fun re-watch. :)
It got better when he showed up on Boba Fett.
