What got me after still was realizing that Ahsoka sensed confusion, attachment and fear and thus darkness in Grogu, and was afraid herself to take on training him. But Luke truly was a Jedi and believed in hope and the good in Grogu. This did so much justice to Luke, that it’s almost shitting on the last trilogy. Anyway I agree great episode - loved the music, acting, story, thrills etc - great series and can't wait for the future shows. With all this coming out it's so awesome to be a Star Wars fan in 2019-20 and beyond!
I was thinking..that scene with R2. What if Grogu did cross paths with Anakin at some point before order 66. That explains grogu reaction to R2 and R2s in turn. Only 3PO has his memory wiped.
One thing I think some overlook in the overwhelming emotion of it all is the small moment where Grogu actually touches Din's face. That very well might have been the first time since he was a child, or a least a lot of years, since anything that was alive actually touched his skin and that's a pretty huge character moment.
Anyone else notice this: So basically, Grogu goes with Luke Skywalker to be trained as a jedi.... as we know from the sequels, Luke creates a new jedi order, so its obvious to assume Grogu is one of the younglings. Kylo ren kills all the younglings at the new jedi temple after luke tries to kill him.... so does that mean kylo kills Grogu?
It's possible that Kylo Ren projecting as his Youngling-Killing Grandfather Darth Vader winds up killing the younglings including Grogu at Luke's Jedi Praxeum.
There's an actual chance for split timelines, this is very possible in Star Wars since Filoni teased the execution of it very well in Rebels. It makes sense too because literally zero of the content coming out is set during the sequel era. But ofc publicly, it's just a plausabile theory atm!
10:31 "Let me look upon you with my own eyes" "I have heard many rumors...": The fandom when they heard Boba might be getting his own show lol 5:29 i know this was a big "He had us in the first half" moment for a lot of people lol They thought adding R2 might get everyone to stop crying.................................. it did not I saw this little story on an instagram post a couple weeks ago, thought id share it: *I find the master perched up on a rock, peace and calm on his face. In with one hand he holds a small object in suspension...... a ball maybe? I place myself on the ground opposite of him* "Master Grogu, I thought the Jedi were not supposed to form attachments." "Attachments do not lead to the Dark Side. Fear of losing them does." "I do not understand. How can you be attached to something or someone but not fear to lose them?" "Treasure those around you while you can, and rejoice when they return to the Force." "You mean when they die?" *Master Grogu nods* "Death is a natural part of life." "I wish it weren't." "But it is. Once you accept this certainty, the Dark Side will never take you." "I have to live knowing that Life and Death are inseparable? It sounds impossible." "No Padawan, it is not impossible......." *Master reaches up and touches a pauldron on his shoulder emblazoned with and insignia. A horned animal* "............... It is the way"

@@JonahAuck Sequel trilogy is trash. Disney is removing Kathleen Kennedy from anything to do with SW brand. It's going to be a soft retcon with Favreau and Filoni writing the future. In five years, no one will remember Rey and the garbage KK did to SW.
@@ForeverDegenerate The most unpardonable sin belongs to the sequel trilogy. They were disrespectful to Luke Skywalker and all of his fans.
Who grew afraid of Kylo just cause of what, raw power? Great episode, even better reaction. Thank you
"Talent without training is nothing."
Did you hear that, Rey?!
Fun Fact, Peyton Reed the director of this episode directed "Ant-Man" your next MCU Movie :)
And will be directing the fantastic 4
Jon Watts is directing Fantastic Four
Coming back after watching The Mentalist. Pedro Pascal played a very different character in that series. It was fun to watch.
The end of the line, season 2 is legendary
Thank you for letting me relive this moment vicariously. Couldn't get enough of it the first time - was great watching this reaction!
I pretty much acted the same way when I saw this episode
I've watched ALOT of reactions to this episode, and your's is the best of them all. Thank you for your vulnerability and fandom. I've watched your reaction like a dozen times now. Keep up the good work and keep them coming. And it's not ugly crying, you're beautiful joyful happy crying, like the rest of us. This episode was probably the best xmas present Disney could have given us.
Please change this title card! I wait until Fri nights to watch with my son and this popped up on my feed. I’m pretty sure I just got spoiled.
Same thing for me. I'll have to turn off notifications. :(
Yeah it's a pretty heavy spoiler in the thumbnail, luckily I saw it right after I had watched the episode
Your reaction when grogu hugs Djin’s leg 😂
Y'all remember how Kylo killed everyone at Luke's temple?
Grogu (survivor of order 66): Oh, not again.
Obviously grogu could’ve learned how to master is abilities and leave to go back to mando so I don’t think kylo killed him
Fuck Ben, seriously fuck him. That Emo bastard. I fucking hate the Last Jedi. This Luke is going to become that coward who tries to kill his nephew because he is seeing some dark side porn?
Not everyone, some of them became Knights of Ren... Theory: Grogu is one of the Knights of Ren 😱😱😀
Actually Kylo didn't kill them and i doubt Grogu will be there when it happens. Something will write him out of it.
I loved it when Mando jettisons the Dark Trooper into space Mary says: "Oh phew, I was worried there for a second!"
I just grinned and HAD to keep watching
This was the first time I've ever cried to a star wars movie/show before , I hope we see them again
A wonderful reaction video. All the colorful metaphors were in the right place. Thank you for crying with all the rest of us.
I cried as well and didn’t expect to cry😂😂😭😭😭😭
Been watching all these reaction videos and you were fantastic!! Loved your crazy wonderful over-the-top emotional outbursts! I keep watching these reaction vids and they all end up making me tear up and go through it again, I must need therapy, haha!
Exactly my thoughts. Grogu and Anakin were padawans and grew up together.
@@caraxes_noodleboi They’re the same age too.
One thing I think some overlook in the overwhelming emotion of it all is the small moment where Grogu actually touches Din's face. That very well might have been the first time since he was a child, or a least a lot of years, since anything that was alive actually touched his skin and that's a pretty huge character moment.
Anyone else notice this:
So basically, Grogu goes with Luke Skywalker to be trained as a jedi.... as we know from the sequels, Luke creates a new jedi order, so its obvious to assume Grogu is one of the younglings. Kylo ren kills all the younglings at the new jedi temple after luke tries to kill him.... so does that mean kylo kills Grogu?
hope not.
Lets hope not, Im fucking invested with the green booger
It's possible that Kylo Ren projecting as his Youngling-Killing Grandfather Darth Vader winds up killing the younglings including Grogu at Luke's Jedi Praxeum.
There's an actual chance for split timelines, this is very possible in Star Wars since Filoni teased the execution of it very well in Rebels. It makes sense too because literally zero of the content coming out is set during the sequel era. But ofc publicly, it's just a plausabile theory atm!
I loved how they were talking about “launch tubes” in an episode that featured one of the Starbucks.
10:31 "Let me look upon you with my own eyes"
"I have heard many rumors...": The fandom when they heard Boba might be getting his own show lol
5:29 i know this was a big "He had us in the first half" moment for a lot of people lol
They thought adding R2 might get everyone to stop crying.................................. it did not
I saw this little story on an instagram post a couple weeks ago, thought id share it:
*I find the master perched up on a rock, peace and calm on his face. In with one hand he holds a small object in suspension...... a ball maybe? I place myself on the ground opposite of him*
"Master Grogu, I thought the Jedi were not supposed to form attachments."
"Attachments do not lead to the Dark Side. Fear of losing them does."
"I do not understand. How can you be attached to something or someone but not fear to lose them?"
"Treasure those around you while you can, and rejoice when they return to the Force."
"You mean when they die?"
*Master Grogu nods* "Death is a natural part of life."
"I wish it weren't."
"But it is. Once you accept this certainty, the Dark Side will never take you."
"I have to live knowing that Life and Death are inseparable? It sounds impossible."
"No Padawan, it is not impossible......." *Master reaches up and touches a pauldron on his shoulder emblazoned with and insignia. A horned animal* "............... It is the way"
God damn son you're over here cutting onions and it's just rude..
Why you gotta make me cry like that 😭😭😭

Bib Fortuna was Jabba's creepy right-hand man in Return of the Jedi(he really let himself go since then), and in this scene he's played by Matthew Wood, aka the voice-actor for General Grievous in Ep3 and Clone Wars 😁
The test of how well you know Star Wars, you knew it was Luke as soon as you saw Lukes X wing arrive, when you saw the green saber, the gloved hand, the face.
I knew just by the x wing. But what sealed the deal was the black glove and his lightsaber hilt
Good thing Obryn wore his helmet this time! Was about to repeat history with that dark trooper 😨
These are the reactions we should have had in the Sequel Trilogy! Do you understand now Kathleen and Rian? Thank you Dave and Jon, for showing those two what could have, and should have been!
Little known fact, when R2 first showed up this episode, what he actually said was, "Holy cow Luke! It's a baby Yoda!"
I’m not sure enough Mandalorians listen to Bo Katan after Sabine gave her the saber, since she didn’t fight for it.
Boba- "This armor belonged to my father."
Bo- *"You mean your donor"*
now this, this is the luke skywalker i know and remember
Indeed
Great reaction! I watched this episode around 8 hours ago (I'm in London) and I still can't get over how awesome this season was.
I also got very emotional at the end. The last time I shed a tear at a TV show/Movie was at the end of Terminator 2 many years ago!
I can't wait to see where things go in future seasons...
Season 3 for Mando is confirmed, and it premieres just before the Book of Boba Fett.
"And everything's going A-ok" I love how as soon as those words left her lips, she knew she was wrong
I knew this would probably be pretty emotional but man! I’m 😭. What a great finale though
I've watched a fair few reactions to this episode and I have to say yours was the best!
Guessing the Book of Boba Fett is part of season 3. The Mandalorian title does not specify which Mandalorian
Wrong.
The Book of Boba Fett is a spinoff
@@jacobjantke6886 mandalorian s3 and book of boba fett vannot becoming out the same year same day i think domething is going on
@@johnacedemy7859 Why not?
Where is it written that a franchise may only have one series screening at a time?
@@leroy1154 no sane company would release two shows at the same time. That's just fighting itself.
Everyone's talking about like but honestly the most impactful moment was between mando and the kid. When he took off his helmet I lost it. Manly wailing tears. That moment was the pinnacle of the series. The trust, the connection. I'm in tears bro
Plz for the love of all that’s good and holy and reaction worthy, plz plz plz do not post spoilers such as the one in this thumbnail for the people who have not yet had a chance to watch whatever it is you’re reacting to.
Some don’t stay up or wake that early to watch this particular show. They then go to work. They browse RUclips ever so often throughout the day possibly and then stumble upon spoilers like your thumbnails.
Just try to be more cautious in the future
Thanks, Mary!!! 🎆 Nearly the entire fandom rejoicing is a lovely feeling! And you're correct, Ludwig Göransson's music deserves so much praise.
Your thumbnail spoils it for people who haven’t seen it. Be more considerate
I had John Williams’ Goodbye music from E.T playing in my head during their farewell.
Prediction: This was the ending of Mando's (forgot his name reee) book. Every two seasons the show will follow another mandalorian. Hoping for season 5+6 about bo katan and the mando civil wars.
The Book of Boba Fett is a spinoff
His name is Din Djarin and they’re probably going to follow the story of Mando and Bo Katan fighting over the Dark Saber and probably working together to restore Mandalore
"I'm too happy right now" *proceeds to bawl her eyes out*
Hey please change the thumbnail some people haven’t seen the episode yet and this is a huge spoiler everyone should get the chance to see it properly
It ruined it for me! Turned the TV on and RUclips was the last thing opened, so it popped up and this was the first recommended video. That lightsaber was instantly recognisable 😂 Partly my own fault for not staying away from RUclips earlier today!
Why would they see a reaction BEFORE seeing the episode?! 🤦🏻♂️
Here here. Ending was totally diffused. I just sat, waiting. Sigh...
@@JedHead77 The Thumbnail in recommended videos.
@@mezzmerritt1 ??
Your reaction to seeing Luke’s face was the best. This was such a good episode, I love Disney
Please change the thumbnail..... I just got spoiled :(((( ..... pls change it.... at least other people won't get spoiled ..... pls Just do it for the fans who really care about this
Why would you watch a reaction if you haven’t seen the episode yet?
@@mrincredible7701 He didn't. It was ruined for me too. The thumbnail has a picture of Luke Skywalker in it, and if he's subscribed to this channel it would instantly pop up in his recommended. The time zones mean a lot of people can't watch it as early as this was uploaded. Buuuuuttt... in the defence of RUclipsrs, we shouldn't have come on here at all until I'd seen the episode. 😂 (Popped up on my TV as RUclips was already open.) 🤦♂️
@@mezzmerritt1 yea man i shouldnt have gone on RUclips til i had watched the ep... rookie mistake :/
@@mrincredible7701 Good point but i didnt watch it i just saw the thumbnail ... black robes black hood green lightsaber i mean thats straight up Luke Skywalker but man i use RUclips for other stuff too ... i dont only use it for fun ya know
But whatever happened happened man
So I've caught up in three days and I always love watching new people fall in love with Star Wars.
Thank you and welcome to the family
There’s a post credit scene!
she watched it in this video.
Priceless reaction. Lmao you made me cry too. And I held it back in the episode.
Thumbnail spoiled the episode, appreciate that one
I was so giddy when Luke showed up and kicked ass and took out the Dark Troopers and then cried when Din took his helmet off and Grogu touched his face. I've never been so invested in a TV show before.
There is gonna be season three..
Yeah but isn't it about bobba fett?
Thats a different show
@@joejaroslaw527 ok so there will be another season of mandalorian but the book of bobba Fett is gonna be a different show ?
Yes.. the next season of mandalorian will prob be din and bo taking back mandalore and its supposed to connect with the new ahsoka show and the rangers of the new republic..
There will be the Mandalorian, rangers, boba, and ashoka series all combining for a mega final season. My guess is a team up to take out thrawn. Maybe luke shows up again somewhere? The question is how many seasons of each show? 1 or 2 is my guess. Tons of star wars coming out soon!
You are absolutely right how much Mando truly loves his little man. He does the right thing by him even though it hurts letting him go.
This is such a huge spoiler, I don’t understand how a large RUclipsr couldn’t see how scummy this is
Yeah it's disappointing. That thumbnail was on my tvs homescreen before I started the episode. Kinda took the impact out of the reveal.
#1. Almost EVERY reactor that uses a screen cap in their thumbnail used the same image.
#2: Unfortunately, to be successful on RUclips, one must feed the almighty RUclips Algorithm and, let's be honest, that image brings in the most views.
Went from not knowing who any of the characters are to sobbing when they appear on screen again. You're a good fan
I wish I was this hot while crying
Same here
My heart is full. What a Christmas present. I’m so back on board with Star Wars in every way.
Your thumbnail spoiled the episode for me lmao
I went thru an emotional rollercoaster. That grogu r2 interaction is something I didn’t know I needed in my life
