@@akhandbharat5866 controversy occurs when there isn't a standard at hand. Editing Acaryas words is a spiritual crime, not a controversy since the standard is there and it is the arsa prayoga rule. This rule was never broken in our sampradaya and actually breaking it by two culprits places the doers ( BBT international) and the silent enablers of iscon out of the bona fide MadhvaGaudiya Sampradaya.

I have very little respect for what has become of ISKCON. It has been usurped by too many nonsense things against Srila Prabhupada's clear instructions. Want to understand. Srila Prabhupada himself was doing proof reading of his manuscripts. There are many letters where Srila Prabhupda tells about this. if proof reading is supported by Srila Prabhupada, what is difficulty if we correct the grammar and other things.

Naresvar prabhu tells Jitavrata Prabhu to speak from his heart. How does he know he was not doing that? He was told his offering was too long. How many minutes were each devotee given to speak? He said people were complaining. Complaining about what? Jitavrata Prabhu addressed the book editing issue, an issue that has not been discussed openly with devotees. It hurts his heart to see who this issue has been so botched up. Prabhupada said in his DOM that BBT Editors are supposed to be GBCs. This is not what has been done. it was by a simple majority vote that a revised and diminished Bhagavad Gita was approved by the GBC. Any vote of such great importance and implication should require at least a two thirds majority vote, at a minimum.. All of the BBT Trustees should be held responsible. They should be called out for having maintained their silence on this issue while Srila Prabhupada's books were being ripped to shreds.

All devotees of ISKCON should read the preface to the original Bhagavad Gita published by McMillian in 1972. If you read it carefully you will see that Srila Prabhupada mentions ISKCON only" once" but uses the term "This Krishna Consciousness Movement" seven times. Now why is that? It is because ISKCON is a temporary incarnation of the Krishna Consciousness Movement. It has been called many other names over the centuries Gaudiya Math, Sri Gaudiya Vedanta Samiti, Vishva-Vaishnava Raj Sabha etc. This sectarian push to establish ISKCON as the only purveyor of spiritual life and bhakti yoga is a great offense to so many sincere devotees of Sri Krishna who have dedicated their lives so spread Krishna Consciousness. Any one who is teaching the bonafide process of sadhana Bhakti is in ISKCON or "This Krishna Consciousness Movement". Get off your high horse and show some humility to all sincere Vaishnavas.

Srila Prabhupad told me personally one time... "There are those among us who are dressed like devotees, with tilak, neckbeads, sikha and dhoti... but they are not devotees, they are agents of kali disguised as devotees, and they are here to try to destroy our movement. You should find out who they are and weed them out." that is an exact quote, and although He said it to me and used the word "you" when talking about the weeding process, it means more than just myself... it is the duty of every sincere follower of Srila Prabhupad, whether directly initiated by His Divine Grace, by one of His disciples or one of their disciples, or even a person who is sincere and dedicated to Srila Prabhupad and His movement, but hasn't taken formal initiation yet, to protect His sacred books and teachings and do their best to rid His movement of people like the offender who stopped this great devotee from speaking this important truth... all glories to His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupad and His army of sincere followers... may Lord Nrsimhadeva protect us all from the agents of kali disguised as devotees... Not all books. There is a neccessity for standard authority especially in spiritual life otherwise we have only speculation on the mental platform. The book The Teachings of Buddha or is it a book? So we have to hear or read from a trusted authority for knowledge. Not all books are the same. Hare Krishna.
Any book can tell you it is from a trusted authority for knowledge. Especially the religious books, which say it explicitly, so you can either believe them or not. And I choose not to believe them, because they are stories for those people who are afraid of the unknown, without any clear evidences for what they describe (unknown even after reading and contemplating still remains unknown). Religion is a useless waste of time. It is better to live your life the best you can, here and now, and not be bound by some future uncertainty, which may never manifest. And meanwhile you are unknowingly being exploited in this life, by those who are promoting and selling those books. Thank you, but no thanks. I depend on myself and the time, not some departed souls' leftovers in form of books.
I have to wonder why you are even here then? Anyways on your own endeavors you will never come to any right conclusion as the senses and mind are all limited and imperfect. So far as depending on yourself that is good up to a point,but as for anything we need knowledge but not blindly accepting but accepting with thought and logic. We are not independent in this endeavor as we all acquire information from hearing about things from others. If you have never been to say ,Japan, you can have no info about it other than hearing or reading about it from others. You're obviously oblivious to the real śāstric meaning it seems.
Everyone has their own experience while serving under HDG Srila Prabhupada. However, One should not use the Vyasa Puja offering to vent out their greivances. Rather Vyasa Puja is an opportunity to express one's gratitude to the Spiritual Master.
So It is my humble opinion that it is not right to use that platform to vent out personal feelings or even personal thoughts.
Not true! Below we have Srila Prabhupada heavily criticizing his godbrothers in a vyasa-puja offering from 1961:

Third Vaisistya
21. If everyone sat down together and carefully considered,
Then what nice preaching there could be.
22. After all, that is Prabhupada's command-for all to join together
To do this preaching work, merged in your instructions.
23. If you simply imitate, there will be the opposite result,
For as long as you try like that, there will be failure.
24. Now all of you are returning here on his order to worship him on his Vyāsa-pūjā day
All together you are engaged in His worship.
25. But a festival of flowers and fruits is not the real worship:
One who serves the guru's message really worships him.
26. The service of the message is the real transcendental vibration.
Don't be falsely proud, brother; come back to that.
27. Kalidāsa Nag, that Master Masay,
One day said in the public assembly,
28. That Kali-yuga's mission was killing the whole world
And Lord Caitanya's message is locked in a cage.
29. Oh shame! Brother, aren't you at all embarrassed
Behaving like businessmen to increase your followers?
30. Our master has said to preach;
Let the neophytes go in the temples to do nothing but ring bells.
Fourth Vaisistya
31. All these are not our master's preaching methods;
These are the things done by the caste goswamis.
32. But just take a look at the miserable condition that's arisen:
Everyone has become a sense enjoyer and has abandoned preaching.
33. Now the temple doors also are starting to be locked.
Go and preach this Bhāgavata-dharma; don't delay any longer.
34. Within this Earth there is another Earth
Whose sound is the unequalled penetrating force.
35. (There is a Bengali proverb) "The mullah runs just as far as the mosque" (and no further),
But an end to this false preaching today!
36. Up to the borders of the seas, all over the earth., pierce the walls of the universe;
All assembled together preach the transcendental vibration.
37. Then our master's worship will be in proper order.
Today make your firm promise; give up your political play.
38. On this very day, coming together, make your comment;
The five of you together, and decide what must be done.
39. You have become renouncers, my brothers, so renounce everything.
But if you renounce the instruction of the spiritual master, what kind of renunciation is that?
40. One who renounces the bona-fide spiritual master, or one who tries to enjoy at the expense of his spiritual master, are both useless.
First become the servant of your spiritual master, then you will be able to understand these conclusions.
Fifth Vaisistya
41. Because there is only one God, if his wealth increases,
A saintly person renounces all such material desires for profit, adoration and prestige.
42. Your gold, my brother, is the source of sense enjoyment.
Prabhupada has made this meaningful statement.
43. Give up your riches for preaching:
Sit down together and make some special consideration.
44. The Supreme Lord says Himself that,
"Everything is Mine along".
45. Prabhupada gave this final instruction.
Take care: do this in all respects, completely.
46. Otherwise all your efforts will simply go to waste.
Oh saintly ones, beware: afterwards you will repent.
47. Is it really such a difficult task to come together like this?
And why does so much have to be said to you?
48. Give up your stubbornness, act for the welfare of others:
There is no time to waste!
All my brothers, come: this is the most auspicious time to unite.

Gratitude is not a feeling or a thought? Then what is it it? It would be easy to spout the usual platitudes couched in devotee-speak but I believe Srila Prabhupada wanted thinking and feeling devotees, not blind followers. He also encouraged devotees to write down their realizations. This prabhu's offering are his realizations based on observation that arise from his long service and experience.
U are totally showing ur ignorance , can't you see all the senior vaishnava s are condemning this incident and ur thinking that ur an acharya n passing statements ...... supporting to offeders is also an offence ......offender
"all the senior vaisnavas" are bogus if they don't follow guru and shastra.
