One more feature, when you lock your car with remote, the head lights stays on, which goes off in about a minute. To turn off the lights as you lock the car, double click the lock on remote and the lights will go off, saving your battery power specially in cold winter months.
Hold is useful when starting uphill. While stopped press Hold. When you take your foot off the brake the car will not roll back, Hold will release as you press the accelerator.

Hey, could you try rolling your windows down all the way and driving through a quiet neighborhood and see if you hear a sort of metallic clanking noise as you come to a stop from anything faster than about 30 mph. I’m getting the noise (3 clanks as the car slows down and gets down to about 18-19 mph). I’m being told by the dealership that all of the adventure and limited models have this noise. They say it’s the torque vectoring system activating/deactivating. Only makes the noise in normal or eco mode (completely goes away in any other mode). But I just want to know from other owners if they’re getting this noise. Again, it’s a sort of metallic clanking as you’re coming to a stop and you have to be in a relatively quiet area and the windows have to be down (won’t hear it with the windows up), Thanks in advance though and great video✌🏽

@REZ0N8 theyre called XLE and our RAV4 is a LE and we got Blind Spot Monitoring its extra , and also the LE and XLE isnt much different , most of the perks like BSM are extra cost
What a lot of people don't know as well is that where the cigarette port, Toyota pre-drilled a hole right on top of the port so you can fish a wire through for a dash cam

Not true, even though that is exactly what the saleman told me. Just put the lock button on your fob 3x, holding it down on the 3rd untill the engine engages. I was pissed when I first heard that. Here in Idaho winter, that feature is mandantory!
Well.. You lucky guys! I got my RAV4 HV (top end) in Europe late May (dealer promised/lied android will be available as update "soon" as i'm a Waze user). Connected apps do not exist as an option .. neither JBL. Asked dealer about remote start/open close window -> they told me i'm talking nonsense. The only thing that i don't like about this car (till now) is the multimedia head-unit(it' like 2006'ish). I'm eager to see how it copes this winter in snow.
If you have entune 3.0 you have remote start free from the key fob. Press lock twice and hold. The remoteconnect is an app on your phone that works thru cellular that you have to pay for. If you dont pay for remoteconnect, the remote start still works from the key fob.
Another feature that we have on our 2019 Rav4 hybrid XSE which is the sport package. On your rear view mirror up you pull up the little handle it has on the bottom of the mirror it shows you the camera facing the rear of the vehicle or see the vehicle behind you and I think you can record also.
yeah paying monthly for remote start is a SCAM! I just had a really sweet remote start installed in my 19 adventure for 149 bucks. works up to a mile away. and shows the car is running on remote.

Quarter of a tank has no relivence unless you know the size if your fuel tank. 26mpg my rav never below 40 the hybrid really works. Automatic wiper you have to set the control to auto so when you in dry weather your turn auto off. You do not leave it in auto all the time. The system is not designed to remain in auto all the time and it will warn you because you will get a dry wipe. Occasionally They charge you for mobile phone access. All these things are in your car setting they are free. People need to ready there manual

Hi, thanks for the review of the RAV4, got some useful tips! I was just wondering though, how is it that your average MPG is so LOW? I mean I would be so disappointed if I was getting anything less than 40 average MPG with a Hybrid. I have a 2019 RAV4 Hybrid (UK Dynamic model) and the average MPG is currently 43.8. That's quite low compared to what it was previously - 49.9! It was about to hit 50 MPG when someone reset the MPG clock instead of the regular clock, but I'm sure it will hit 50 and beyond, probably around 52 or so. Cheers, Nick.
Its all in your right foot. Try not accelerating as hard or going way over speed limit and relax on your braking. The more you brake the more you have to accelerate back up to speed. Keep good distance from other vehicles in front of you so you're not pushing the brake as much. Just a few suggestions. ✌
very good piece of info. planning to get rav4. however......curious about the bird eye view. i heard that this feature works while your speed is under e.g. 10km/miles. i have no problem checking surrounding and i have good parking skill. i need it due to pillar A blind spot while driving with pedestrian or bike suddenly run out. not even talking about blind spot when lane changing. i always shoulder check. so if this is just the feature of the bird eye view, then it doesn't serve the purpose of having it.
Thanks for the tip to bypass the radar cruise control feature. I didn't realize you can use the cc without the radar. Do you know if you can remove the kilometer display from the the info screen? I find it annoying. And lastly, my '20 XSE has the wireless phone charging system. I, myself, won't use it. I would have liked a drivers memory seats feature. Idk why Toyota makes you upgrade to the Limited.

The app does nothing for remote start. It's tied to the audio upgrade. Mine had it and the dealer didn't know this existed. It's a Toyota thing not exclusive to the rav 4
I took my 2019 RAV4 LE to the beach and I drove it into the sand and I got stuck, of course I took some air of the tires first and left them at 22psi so I was wondering what else I had to do to not to get stuck bcuz I had it in mode sand&mud.

Idk if this will help but I pressed the off button, car beeped, pressed again, car beeped, then pressed and held a 3rd time and it started. When I did it quick, it didn’t work.

My hybrid is at 1/2 tank at 110 or 100 mpg- tank doesn’t fill, 8.67 or so is to fill -3 -4 gallons never full! Full tanks in winter less mileage maybe 260- mpg per tank up to 300 if light goes on for fuel low! Toyota blows no follow through on fix 2019.

Toyota has acknowledged some 2019 Toyota RAV 4s Hybrids are unable to fill the gas tank to full capacity..Toyota has stated they are working to solve the problem.
I bought a new one of these for my wife and very reluctantly took it on a 2000 mile trip rather than my F150. OMG how miserable can a car be. Its awful. Its ok fr 5 miles to a store...other than than that its just worse than trash. I have a 1997 4 runner with 180000 miles that is so much better. I am already ready to junk it. There is just nothing good about it.

The trial remote features are for control of the vehicle from a smart device, the smart key remote start is built-in and is free forever.

Looks like this is the Adventure Trim level (25 city / 33 highway) in the video, not the Hybrid.
Not a hybrid model but its all on the driver and their driving habits. I usually run 34-36 Mpgs.
