-Friedman 4x12 cabinet with greenback speakers

Just bought one from sweetwater, i had the mesa mk5/25 and the bogner sl and bogner atma, this amp is just incredible in every way.....
Best sound amp ever! I own 4 at the moment.
Huge sound from a small 30lbs Head! Don't let the 30 watts fool you, it's plenty loud. Cleans are very crisp and the gains have a lot of play to dial in. I'm impressed with mine and it's in purple lol. Great playing and demo. You covered the cleans and gains very well.

Sounds amazing! Can I ask what greenbacks were in the Friedman cab? The standard G12m25s? I just got an SLO-30 (partially inspired by your videos!). Playing it through a 412 with Heritage G12M greenbacks (the ones that are the same as the labelled EVH ones), and I can't get it to sound anything like this. Just too mushy in the mid range, all the grind and drive is sucked out of the amp. Been wondering whether a switch to G12m25s would help, or still not drastic enough. Thanks!

I feel exactly the same way about the new Soldano cabinets loaded with v30’s all the best demos of this slo 30 sounded great with greenbacks. I’m buying one soon and i really wanted a matching cabinet but I don’t want v30’s
That Friedman cabinet closed back? And do you think it will sound as good with a 2x12 cabinet. Thanks and really awesome video. Probably one of the best I have seen about the amp on RUclips
I tried greenbacks with the Slo 30 did not really like them. Went back to a v30 speaker 2 /12 cab and it made the amp come alive
Hi! I currently own Friedman JJ Jr. and I am interested in buying this Soldano but I can only keep 1 of them. How do they compare? Is it worth getting rid of the Friedman? Thanks!
hey man, real stuff I was exactly in your position. had the JJ jr. for a year, eventually decided to sell it and save up for the SLO-30! Just got the slo last week and I haven't looked back. JJ jr was a very noisy amp and I never truly gelled with it (and i love alice in chains, especially their live stuff). SLO 30 wins the battle for me everytime.
