The best way is call to the local lock smith to make a second key which will run you about 100$ and you can reset my key settings if this trick doesn’t work for your vehicle.
I have a 2012 ford fusion. I wrapped the remote key with foil. The key indicator blinked to indicate that it did not read the chip. But in set up, there is no reset for mykey. It only showed 1 admin key programmed. 1 mykey programmed. But no way to reset it.
This works for keyless remote start cars. Some people have had luck with bladed keys by emulating the remote start by running a KOER test in FORScan and then blocking the transponder in the bladed key with aluminum foil. I'll try it soon and update with results.

You are free to try with other models on your own risk but I just wanted to let everyone know. If this doesn’t work for you there is only other option left. You will need to buy second key. Thank you because I have only one key and I program the my key a few weeks ago but didn't realize I had the limitations on the speed. I tried your method and it just would not work because it did not give me the option to clear the my key.
I have a 2011 and this procedure works up until scrolling through the setup menu, I see no options to clear mykey or anything similar. However, I know the foil is doing it’s job as I see the same blinking light and “mykey active” is not displayed when I turn on the car. Any ideas?

Not necessarily. You can find a local lock smith who makes keys. Buy a second key and that will fix it. Dealer might charge you double for the same thing.

@@aslanmammadov855 when I wrap it in foil, the car starts. At first it says nothing about the Mykey settings, then after a few seconds when I try to go to settings, it then reads the Mykey limits
I have talked to my local Lock smith this morning and they said it’s something that they can fix for $95. You should talk to your lock smith and see what they say.
@@SoloBlues do you have the exact same dash as I do ? Someone commented before that in their 2012 Taurus didn’t work either. It might have different coding for 2012. This car is 2010

I tried this and it didn't work-maybe because I have a 2012 fusion. It wouldn't start with the aluminum so I know I covered it right but there wasn't the MyKey option under setup. Must be a Fusion thing...

Wrap the key with aluminum foil, turn the ignition on, keep pressing set up button until it says my key reset and press&hold the reset button
