I have 2011 ford escape that I bought used. The person I bought it from didn't have the admin key. MyKey is active and Ford charges $300 for a new key. So the best part about MyKey is that ford can charge you a stupid amount of money if you don't have the admin key. This is the most asinine feature I have ever seen.

In my teenage years the " mykey" was my dads boot in my ass !! If I screwed up. I bought a z28 and he cosigned for half as I saved the other half. He told me if you get a speed ticket in this it will be mine. I never got a ticket !!! Wonder why the world is getting soft !!!

If you only have one key but you have an autostarter fob, use the auto start and you can reset your key! Hopefully this finds the right people!
