Thanks for the video! I just bought an non-running Enclave that had the sunroof stuck open (actuator corrosion). Now that I've fixed the sunroof; actuator, drains, and all gutted & dried-out, I'm about to see why it doesn't start.

Thanks for the video. I did timing belt replacement and also replaced valve cover Gasket at the same time. I didn't install valve cover Gasket properly and it let air in causing P0171 code. Once I resit valve cover Gasket properly, the issue went away. I used incese stick smoke to find where the Gasket was letting air in.

I had watched several videos on how to tackle this job with several videos suggesting different methods. I soaked the exhaust bolts in pb blaster the day before and decided to go with exhaust removal version. Everything went smooth, all exhuast bolts came out without issue. job took me 2.5 hours and im no mechanic. I could see exhaust bolts getting stuck being a real pain but if they come off with ease, id do it this way again.

I just got this problem, same exact noise as the a/c went out yesterday. Would I still be able to drive the car without damaging it until I can get it fixed?

All those below who say you don't have to remove the exhaust are talking rubbish. I have a 2003 E320 & it is impossible to get access to the top engine mount bolt because of the exhaust manifold. This is the best way to change engine mounts on a V6 engine & this guy is absolutely correct!!!!!

I got p0171 today too, without any mecanic problem.. only and high idle when I start the engine.. I think could ve the purge valve..

NO you DON'T have to remove the exhaust 😂 and the bottom bolt is 13mm broo 😂😂

I have a Lincoln MKS 2011 I tried to hook up, subwoofers in an amp and everything was working fine and then I cut the REM cable to rewire it through a different spot and now my radio and buttons don’t work. The digital screen turns on, but only reads Lincoln THX. does anyone know what that might be. The radio buttons on the steering wheel don’t work but the lower part of the center dash AC unit works perfectly fine. The top half just stopped working after I cut that cable. Does anyone know what that might be?

Can you check out the noise im having with mine? its a 1996 model, the AC stopped working and the water pump started leaking right after... i took it to an autoshop to replace the waterpump and it took them an entire month and cost me a fortune, after the car came back 2 days later it was sounding like this, and i cant tell if it is because of the ac or if they fucked up something with the timing chain

I did this but I put a High Line cluster from a GTI 2007 into my low line cluster 2009 Jetta. Car turned just fine but display is off. Either cluster is defective , display is defective or it’s a compatibility issue. Thoughts?

Honestly thanks for this video. I’ve been having this issue with my 2008 Nissan on and off for a couple of months. Similar to your car my vehicles front drivers side caliper would lock up when I breaded hard. I’ve recently switched all (3) breaks, rotters, and calipers with the issue happening again within days of the change. Hopefully this works to resolve the issue. My next step would be the break booster (which will be hell)

The question would be to program, can I do it with the new one? Or do I have to change the EPROM from mine to the new one I brought? Or does it just read the pin again and it will be programmed?
