I love the look of the F1 chassis', they are all gorgeous, but that Serpent one is a step above the Tamiiya, and a big step at that! Thank you for showing this car, really enjoyed it!!
The main guy from our RC club back in the day got a Serpent 1/10 scale electric off road buggy. I can’t for the life of me remember what the model was but It looked boring and kind of stupid but when it was racing it was an absolute bulletproof weapon. It took just about every corner at full speed. And rarely broke t. Great video Glenn👍
Nearly 40 years in the hobby, from basher to racer, from nicad to nitro to lipo.... My serpents were the nicest, best "built" rigs that I've owned. I would love to convert my impact to brushless, but no scene here anymore, and they're useless on unprepped surfaces.
I have a pair of serpent 1/8 buggy's 811b and 811 2.0 they're tough cars and probably the best quality cars I've ever bought. I really wish serpent had more of a presence in the US.
Was WAY into f1 racing locally for quite a few years! A bud of mine is a team driver for Serpent & I have a bit of wrench time on their F1 cars (helping on setup ect). Great quality and very fast with the proper setup. Making me want to dig the cars out again brother...lol.
The V ..... might of been a Serpent VECTOR ? i had some Serpent impact's and not so many years ago i had a Serpent 960 1/8 onroad that i bought from somebody that raced 1/8 onroad on circuit, was a cool car with all the bling on and very good quality
I just finished the exotech f1 car with the updated chassis . Talk about state of the art suspension design and chassis. It makes the serpent look toy grade
Need to get those glasses on for future vids mate, so we cant be sure you're reviewing the correct vehicle! ;D Lovely piece of kit that, I wonder how much the extra bells and whistles end up having in lap times vs a bog standard tamiya F103. Cheers for the indepth look at the car :)
I've seen serpent 1/10 touring cars but didn't know about their F1 cars 👍. The quality, finish and look is awesome, but that F104 X1 Tamiya is a beauty ❤ and considering I have blue hop-ups on 1 of my mountain bikes I think it's the blue bling (gets me every time lol)👍👍
Serpent has the Mt-e cobra I think its called, which is a basher style MonsterTruck( a buddy of mine owns one and says its phenomenal durability and handling wise) But even this vehicle is based upon their 1:8 race truggy chassis AFAIK. So yes, basically everything serpent does is for the track in one way or another.
Never seen the serpent F1 looks 👌 i know they race the tamiya F1 cars at the iconic events, but not seen the F1 cars race anywhere else. Ive been tempted to try the tamiya F1 class. But that means buying another chassis 🤔
Hey Glenn, tbh I'm actually really enjoying these videos of different RC cars you're showing off!

Thanks for sharing with us Glenn 👍
G'day Glenn what a beautiful chassis front and rear wing all adjustable yeah awesome to see one with no clothes on thanks mate 👍👍
By far one of the best brands out there. I race a serpent s411 4.1 eryx touring car, and it's amazing on any surface you race on
Great video Glenn 👌 what a great car 👍
Some thing different. Cool 😎

Cool video Glenn
Another one I’ve never heard of. Super cool.. I really want an f1 style car done up as Rick Mears Penzoil car from the 80’s 90’s

I haven’t heard of serpent. Very 😎
It is a beautiful chassis! Thanks for showing it off, I doubt I'll ever see one in person!

I like your accent.
Never heard of them . Looks interesting 👌👊🔥🔥🔥
Thanks buddy 😅
they started out making 4 wheel drive 1/8 on road racers, some of the best kits money could buy back in the day
@@Sleepy.Time. cool will have to google them later 👌
looks similar spring set up to a indoor 1/12 scale rear drive race cars

Glenn, that was a good vid but aload of cobra,s. It's a brit thing : )
Serpent was a brand from the Netherlands. Hence their Orange team colors. But they were bought by some Chinese Investor some time ago.
