When Classic WOTLK comes out I might actually get back into WoW again after leaving a month into SL. I started WoW in WOTLK, this will definitely be a trip down memory road. Gonna see about getting a Druid/DK/Paladin setup of who I mained throughout the expansion all the way to BFA 🥰
@@ANTERIORcs I remember back in wrath getting two shot by many a beast mastery hunter lol. Survival is nearly impossible for melee to kill also. They can't even get to you. I really like survival personally in wotlk. It's a very original and fun spec.
WotLK is the expansion where all the classes who weren't working got band aid changes to make them work, despite the mechanics of the class still not working properly. Cata then fixed those changes by changing the mechanics aswell. WotLK classes still feel clunky to play, as if the entire foundation is about to fall apart at any second, while Cata classes actually feel like they are supposed to work this way. The exception for this are the 2 best designed classes in WotLK, Paladin and Hunter, which ironically are the two classes that got completely changed going into Cata. The only classes that were better in WotLK, are the two that got complete redesigns in Cata, while every other class, who simply built and improved on their WotLK counterparts, are significantly better in Cata.
I'm prolly going to play a hunter. Maybe MM, maybe Surv, definitely a BM spec for soloing. Also considering shadow priest, enh shaman, ret paladin, unholy DK, arms warrior, or maybe a mage. Jfc I can't actually decide.
Yea I can't decided between a mage or a pally. I played mostly pally back when wrath came out and I would like to do that again but I also love my tbc mage

Wrath was blizzard's pinnacle moment and probably one of the best mmo's even to this day you will play. A few words of warning to take as you will... 1. If you don't like messing with rune management, playing a DK is not all it's cracked up to be. He stated it in the video and it's a fact. DKs are also the epitome of "hard to master" and 3.35 was their nerfed state. I would highly suggest them as alts... but as a main... many people dropped them over the clunky rune system. 2. EMFH caused a lot of pvpers to reroll... then they regretted it. Unless ALL you are planning on doing is arena... I would not pick it and even then... if you are a creative pvper... some racials offer better offensive game play. 3. Do not "min/max" your professions. Pick professions that benefit your class and you can make at least some gold from. JC requires a mining alt and engineering is a straight up money sink. Consider ALL benefits you get from professions... even passive ones... and you will find that JC/ENG are good... but they are literally only very minimally better than professions that will put a money stream in your pocket along with other benefits. Don't be a sheep.
Great advice thank you! I was wondering about the rune management and wasn’t sure if it was incredibly hard to work with or if I just needed to watch more videos to understand how to min/max things.

@@JamesLeeHughes I think that op meant that of you aren’t an insanely high-end raider, you don’t need it and should take something that can make you more money.
DKs aren't really that hard to master. The rune system is like the PoE talent tree, it looks daunting when you first try it, but once you get a couple of hours of gameplay in, it becomes really easy and obvious. Unholy is one of the easier PvE specs in WotLK, as it's one of the few that still has a completely static rotation with no procs or changes, only a strict order in which to use your spells. Frost is a bit more complicated, but it's still an easy priority system with 1 proc to react to. The hardest part about playing Frost is making sure you don't overcap Runic Power... Specs that are actually hard to master would be things like Shadow Priest, Demo/Aff Lock, Feral and Enhancement. All of those specs will have a MUCH bigger gap between good and mediocre players than any DK spec. This is all from a PvE perspective. As for professions: Engi is the cheapest profession to level up. You can buy all the mats from the AH without breaking the bank, and JC is a good moneymaker without Mining. Also, don't have Mining on your raiding main. It was like this in TBC aswell, where mains would have things like BS for the weapons, Enchaning/JC for the stat boosts or LW for the drums, but in WotLK, all crafting professions gets a noticeable stat boost compareable to the famous JC only big gems. For 13 years i played Mage as main. In additional I had all other classes, but Mage was my prime. Then... ... DEMON HUNTERS COME :) DH is absolutly great wow character.
Playing on Warmane/Molten since 2009, still my favourite 3 classes: Hunter, Mage and Rogue. Really nice gameplay in pvp. Locks are also fun but harder to master.
PHD (Paladin/Hunter/DK) was literally the second best comp after RMP in arena in S5 and S8 if I remember correctly and was pretty good in S6 and S7 still so MM Hunter is definitely insanely good for Arena. Also very good in Duels
For Prot Paladins, it's worth noting that Hammer of the Righteous (final prot talent) and avenger's shield count as a single target attack for the purposes of Seal of Command, meaning each hit of each will cleave 2 additional targets For Priest you can do /cast [@focus] Mind Sear and focus target the tank to be able to easily AOE once threat is established AND make sure you're hitting all targets (because it doesnt damage the primary target if it's an enemy)
As a Tauren restoration druid in Wrath, I concentrated less on spellpower/Intellect and heavily on Spirit. I *never* ran out of mana as a healer, even with an occasional panic-heal. Innervate would be available before I ran out of mana every time, with a potion to top off mana as needed (I wouldn't need mana potions more often than the potion cooldown). Lather-rinse-repeat. The heal-per-second wasn't quite as high as those who were all about Spellpower (probably about 90% of optimum), but it was always there. Resto droods rocked. It was good to be a tree.
I don’t even know why I’m watching this video. I already know I’m going to play dk since that’s what I played when I was kid. But super informative and interesting video and it’s fun to see the appeals of the other classes
I'm overwhelmed... Wrath is my favorite expansion. I had so much fun playing this 12-13 years ago. I can't decide what class to main, but I'm leaning towards Pally. I was an althoholic starting in Wrath because every class was so much fun and viable.
Really fantastic video, well done. One complaint though, you really sold every single class during their introduction so I still have no idea what I want to play lol.
I hope classic won't have this 3rd shadow dance action bar coming up. They could just make it switch to your stealth bar seamlessly as it does in retail pls 2:08:26 I saw this on p-servers and it feels and looks clunky. As you can see shadow dance does not GCD his other abilities and while the bar is moving I don't believe you can press these buttons until it is fully locked into place which is kinda weird.
I know this videos a lot of work, but I feel it really lacks showing any meaningful detail on how the specs will play in practice. I think commentary on how the TBC playstyle compares to Wrath and a basic overview of their rotation or gameplay would be pretty helpful rather then just reading talents and new spells without any real input on how it all comes together. :)
Awesome video man, it's obvious that you put a lot of work into this. I've been playing since vanilla but this is still awesome to have. Leveling a lock right now, never mained one before. :D Liked and subscribed. Thanks :)
Fire mage, probably the most fun pvp class to play in all wrath. Nice spells like blast wave and dragon breath... Too bad they are squishy, if they had some sort of shield like ice barrier they would be much easier and better in pvp.
Never played a melee…. Really want to dive in and play DK. Would ideally like to run frost (hate pet management with unholy). Kind of nervous about skill gap with it? Either way for sure going to give it a shot! Great vid!

... DEMON HUNTERS COME :)
DH is absolutly great wow character.
Mate you put all class in one video...i bow before your effort you truly deserve minimum 200k subs
You put a lot of work into this. Good vid! Thanks!
Fell in love with my arcan mage in tbc. Fire might be better but I still will play it in wotlk
Nice man, great choice
Good vid lots of information, would loved to have seen every classes rotations though
Good stuff, look forward to more of your videos!
What an absolutely amazing video! Thank you man, really hyping me up for wrath
Glad you enjoyed it :)
Nice video and good editing. I’m already rolling pally but I just like vids like these
Playing on Warmane/Molten since 2009, still my favourite 3 classes: Hunter, Mage and Rogue. Really nice gameplay in pvp. Locks are also fun but harder to master.
So you have been playing wrath for that long?
@@anthonyzarfati3579 Yes, and Im still playing from time to time.
Well done m8. Love listening to vids and podcasts like these about classic while I work. So far this is my favorite for sure. Definitely gonna sub 🤝🏻
PHD (Paladin/Hunter/DK) was literally the second best comp after RMP in arena in S5 and S8 if I remember correctly and was pretty good in S6 and S7 still so MM Hunter is definitely insanely good for Arena. Also very good in Duels
Thank you for making such a good video
For Prot Paladins, it's worth noting that Hammer of the Righteous (final prot talent) and avenger's shield count as a single target attack for the purposes of Seal of Command, meaning each hit of each will cleave 2 additional targets
For Priest you can do /cast [@focus] Mind Sear and focus target the tank to be able to easily AOE once threat is established AND make sure you're hitting all targets (because it doesnt damage the primary target if it's an enemy)
Im going back to where I started many many years ago. The one and only REAL survival hunter. Damn i cant wait. Im so excited
This is really well done. Tysm, Toyhouze!
You made every class seem dope its gonna be hard to choose.
I enjoy listening to this while I level waiting for wrath.
Just love this video! Great job, friend :)
Thank you so much!
im 32 years old, I played wrath already, but still watching this video makes me all fuzzy inside
Great video, can't wait for Wrath Classic
Very well prepared, nice voice with no hysterical bs. You gained a thumbs up and a sub from me. GJ
This is a fantastic video, well done!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Playing Rogue and Paladin was so much fun in Wrath. I remember just popping Cold Blood and running around with an iceball in my left hand just because
you make some great videos man! subbed with the bells from now on!
I don’t even know why I’m watching this video. I already know I’m going to play dk since that’s what I played when I was kid. But super informative and interesting video and it’s fun to see the appeals of the other classes
leveling a prot pally in tbc rn in preparation to be an actual god in wotlk. i'm soooooo excited
I'm overwhelmed... Wrath is my favorite expansion. I had so much fun playing this 12-13 years ago. I can't decide what class to main, but I'm leaning towards Pally. I was an althoholic starting in Wrath because every class was so much fun and viable.
Or maybe Warrior...
Edit: Hm. Possibly Shaman...
Edit 2: I also loved DK...
Edit 3: Priest?
Edit 4: Halp! Too difficult to choose!
Great Video! Well Done!
Really fantastic video, well done. One complaint though, you really sold every single class during their introduction so I still have no idea what I want to play lol.
Playing Storm Peaks song was the best choice! ❤
Great video, very detailed!
Yeah it threw me off big time!
great video for boning up on class knowledge to gain a competitive edge in PvP!
Great class picking guide, really enjoyed that.
41:04 - That immune made me laugh. xd
Glad you enjoyed! That was pretty funny lol
Thanks for the feedback brother
Thanks for the feedback brother
Awesome video man, it's obvious that you put a lot of work into this. I've been playing since vanilla but this is still awesome to have. Leveling a lock right now, never mained one before. :D Liked and subscribed. Thanks :)
Fire mage, probably the most fun pvp class to play in all wrath. Nice spells like blast wave and dragon breath... Too bad they are squishy, if they had some sort of shield like ice barrier they would be much easier and better in pvp.
Destruction lock way cooler
Watching this reminded me why I main Ret pally 😅
I would play this just to experience Frost tanking again. Frost tanking was the best! They need to bring it back!!
Amazing video. Thanks for the detailed walkthrough!
Never played a melee…. Really want to dive in and play DK. Would ideally like to run frost (hate pet management with unholy). Kind of nervous about skill gap with it? Either way for sure going to give it a shot! Great vid!
Sold me in DK. Can’t wait
Honestly. After watching this. I literally started a Paladin tank. I am a Warrior tank since like forever but god damn. Paladin looks so fun I Wrath!
finally, i can actually get into a raid as a ret paladin
1:47 - No, you still had to form groups and get to the dungeon. RDF wasn't introduced until Cataclysm pre-patch.
very nice guide! but now i wanna play all of the classes ^^
haha thank you! Same here :D
Very nice vid, full of info and no time wasted! Also like the witty comments here and there! :P
Fantastic video !
So informative !!
Thank you 🏆
Glad you enjoyed it!
I’m just going to pick a class that isn’t played much, ideally a healer or tank, to get into groups when I need to.
Excellent idea sir!
Love the detail! Thanks!
What is the music at 4:30?
great vid, subbed to see the next one!
top quality video, awesome !
very nice, great success
Solid content, thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it! Don't forget to like and subscribe!
Thanks for the quality content! I kindly ask you to make a video about the strongest pvp class 1v1 in WOTLK. I am sure that most players will also want to see such a tier list, especially from you.
Thank you! And thanks for the idea!
@@Toyhouze A video like this would be very helpful. Let's say that all the characters will be in the same gear and with the same level of skill. Which of them, in your opinion, is more likely to survive in WOTLK world pvp? Thanks a lot.
I expect that when not madseason will do a class guide for wotlk some one else will do good video mate
What music is playing in the background for the first part of Death Knight? 1:29:24
I believe it's called "Arthas, my Son"
@@Toyhouze thanks homie
Wotlk was the best time for priest imo. Disc priest is an absolute monster in pvp and holy was top tier in pve. Shadow got a nice quality of life buff. Can’t wait to relive it.
holy top tier in pve not rly, priests and druids are mostly just support healers in wrath
@@FarkasfaROCK well, that’s true actually. I’ve never played holy ever so so was just going by what I saw. There was a holy priest in almost every raid I was in. Maybe just for the dispels 🤷♂️ disc is crazy good though. Hit Glad with it.
I had both resto druid and holy priest, on my druid I would smoke everyone in healing it wasn’t even close.
@@Cardan011 that doesnt mean they r the top healer classes because u good with them, and facts they r just support healers, druid jobs on 25 mans blanket healing priest job is tossing shields and u dont want more then one of each, and yeah on some fights u r favored and u can beat paladins and shamans who r the absolut top healers of the xpack
no holy priest not top tier at all... disco is top tier in PVE but raid can have just 1 of them so the other 4healers is - 2x hpal(coz hes most OP if we ignore disco), 1x Rdruid, 1xRsham/1xHPriest(u chose 1 of them) but ppl mostly chose rsham coz hpriest is prob hardest healer in pve ..... if everyone plays equally disco priest should have 80% of time the best absorb/healing unless other healer has valanyr (disco should never get valanyr)
Awww yeah loving it dude keep it up 🤘
@toyhouze at 1:11:00 what is this music from?
Rampage: World Tour menu music rofl
This video was really nice. It had some cool footage which was nice. It was very nice that it was so nice and cool, nice! But for serious feedback: I don't know how much you script these videos as I'm a first time watcher but one thing that bothered me a bit was how much you use the words nice and cool. It got a bit better somewhere around the DK, I think, but then you fell back into the habit. Hope you don't take this the wrong way, I'm just trying to give a hopefully useful piece of feedback. Thanks for putting together a good video! Really needed this to tickle my WoW itch right now xD
Nice very cool comment. I'll take your nice advice into consideration if that's cool 😎 haha thanks for pointing it out man, and glad you enjoyed the video
Warrior PvP is gonna be so fun!
