Perfect. Great job.
One of the best videos on the subject the workmanship at its class
Excellent.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
That’s a great vid. Will tackle my bungalow one through to the loft and out the roof🤞
Cooker hoods require at least a 5 inch ducting, you look like you have used 4 inch? You will burn the motor out if you have!
A right angled drill would have allowed you to work from the top and saved time and hassle of dropping the cooker hood. Well worth investing in especially if your running cables /pipes through joist especially in old houses
I just nearly took my face off drilling for a cooker hood. Core bit bound up missed my face by an inch. I don't even know what went wrong I have drilled them multiple times before.
Great work
Great job
Excelent!!!
Good job mate
Nice job bro🎉
Hi D k Services! Would you mind to give me the list of what you did use in order to gat that project done. I need one just alike that !
Nice job! I wish that mine was at ground level rather than than on the first floor 😐 Don't fancy cutting out the core on a ladder... then again don't fancy paying seventy quid hiring a platform! 🙄
How's it doing after six months? I think I'd worry that that length of ducting in 100mm would cause the motor to work a bit hard. I'm sure it's fine though, I'm just a worrier 😀
Hi, yeah still going fine ta. Good luck with it!! 👍
@@dadskillz Cheers matey !
I've got exactly the same job to do. Can I ask why you elbowed up before exiting rather than going straight out?
Yeah no problems, because is was rectangular duct I was using - I would have had to put an adapter to circular on the end to get out. That would have meant raising up the ducting all along the top of the cabinet or using circular all the way. That would have lost me usable storage space on top of the cabinet.
Ah I see, makes sense. Thanks!
Great vid, very helpful
Can I ask why you didn’t take the extractor pipe straight out the back wall ? Why take it all the way down to the end ??
Because it would go into my front room
How much time it took for drilling only?
About ten mins max
I have the same dewalt drill which cutter did you use, where can I buy one please with the sds bit
I’ve had it some time, I think it was a screwfix purchase
