Infestations should be made to evolve eventually into proto-plague hearts, then into plague hearts.
This game seriously lacks the depth. Could have been so much better...
I've thought similar before. Helps gives infestations more meaning. Currently i let them max out. Eventually, will take molotovs, crossbow and a baseball bat and do a clean sweep.

I like having the Warlord: weapons for all mission early in game. Aggro them, run away, switch characters then wait for the crossbow killer to take them out. If you have 4 or fewer community you can recruit him for his 10 shot bow. Plus loot the guns from the dead enclave 😁
Why switch characters? What does that do? Just curious, I'm interested in trying your tip.
You need 4 to recruit the CK? Shoot, my current fresh start is at 5 and I've already invested time into them, which for LZ is a lot.

seeing him dodging those zombies, made me remember about a PVP mode on MMORPG game that i used to play.
I used to be scared of the morale hit from food rationing but it’s better than having community members frustrated by low inventory for sure. That gives you a dent in morale and they could leave.

You have probably mentioned it, the crossbow bolts do stack higher then 20 now. Only when its put in the trunk of the vehicle. Supply drops I found a way to get them all close.. Ask for one in the starting base, then go to the drop.. call the other one from there.. go to next drop and all are around the area close by. usually where the Seckon and fuel is.. then by the Tarten mart then the 3rd behind to the side of Tarten mart to the right towards hidden camp or can be over the road opposite the Cell Tower survey point. That's if you want to call them all at once.
On the note of food consumption, when I first started my normal zone game I made a hydroponics and a facility mod that doubled the output. Add seeds and it goes from 3 food to 9. My whole community was sustained off 1 facility. On nightmare, I use 2 and save all my outpost slots for power, water, and others since those are facility heavy to replicate but efficient for outposts. In my current game I get +7 food a day! Do not sleep on farming!

Would be interesting to see you do a Fresh Start with the first rolled members or even roll for bad members. You have the skills. I would even challenge you to play on a map you least know. Would be good entertainment

I have never done a solo play through so I wouldn’t be able to give a good guide on how to do it IMO

I let the infestations fester, I like having some more stuff to kill and more of a challenge buuuuut I'm experienced to a certain degree.

Sorry Brian. You can’t expect novice lethal players to go in at 4:00 and be able to handle a bunch of zombies in hand to hand melee combat. You’re an awesome player - it’s a bit different for the rest of us.
Yeah I said after the fight I wouldn’t want you all to do that and to just clear the whole thing with fire or crossbow from a distance
@@BrianMenard sorry for bothering but I have a question of sorts. is is normal across all platforms for ferals to latch onto car doors and after 3 seconds take out the door or the fact cause I play the xbox1 version I run over ferals and they just won't die. also I mean all difficulties.
@@slayerofthegalexy9245 yes they will pull your doors off very fast but as for them not getting run over do you mean you hitting them and there not dying or are you referring to them always dodging out the way because it is very hard to hit ferals with cars but sometime you will run into them and they don’t die that’s just a bug
@@BrianMenard just the fact i run them over and it's like that jeepers creepers scene where they run the horror icon over and reverse to do it again. for 1 feral all my doors are off by the end of it and it's normal difficulty.
@@slayerofthegalexy9245That's just them dodging. When you saw Brian killing them by running them over that was because they did the roar animation while they cannot dodge.

When you said you're going to melee kill all zombies in infestation my reaction was "you're kidding right?!". But damn you have mad skills.
I also noticed you are dashing away from zombies but if you dash through them you can get a guaranteed takedown from behind.
Yes however other zomz can grab /scratch you

I kinda wish you gave advice on how to melee properly. Example: How do you grab and shove them? How do you do that backstep into melee swing

Why do you always make sure to touch something when parking your car?
When you park up against something it makes it so zombies can’t jump on the hood when you need to make a get away. In lethal zone a zombie on your hood for 4 secs can blow up your car no problem so that’s how I prevent it
I got a red talon that has gut packaging , and only have 4 survivors so I got plenty of food.
Save your fuel for molotov cocktails and look for the Brogan car with a compartment on the roof. 7 slots and low fuel consumption.
I thought it was 8 slots for the Brogan Trekker?

If i have 3 survivors with 100 immunity to infection does that count towards the plauge
I think 5th skills like fishing is a waste for lethal (every other difficulty it's ok)
The thing is, it only covers the food for that one survivor .. recycling and hygiene are nice doe

I know this is late, but why do you melee so much? You can just dodge into a zombie and Quick Finish them from behind. Saves durability on weapon and adds exp for melee still. Also, the dodge cancels their attack animation.
It allows you to gain more xp and level up faster. And in lethal zone it takes forever to level up so you need everything you can get. And leveling up fighting gives you more health. That and the quick finish from behind locks you in a animation and zombies will hit you constantly. The slow behind the back twist take down is one of the worst in the game.

I can confirm, I used to dodge and execute to save my weapon durability in LZ. But it hindered my fighting skill. So I started prioritizing beating the poop out of zombies and scrapping low durability weapons to help repair mine. It made a difference.
I think if you knock down a zombie and stomp it, that gets xp too while not damaging your weapon?
I made 2 games first one a blood feral inside the base had to reset because my main character was 70 odd Percent plaqued so made a second and a blood feral Spawned so I squished him with my car
PRO CHEESE TIP : scared your favourite character is going to die? Just exit the game and reload, just lost one of my survivors in the dumbest car accident ever and I give up on playing legit. till SoD3
Why does he always pin the car?
Gotta protect that engine. Zombies can't jump on it when it's pinned.
I also try to find a spot where I can block both my engine and driver side door.
Did it once and just sat there watching the zombies scream about not being able to get me. Still being mindful of bloaters, screamers (spitting plague on you) and Juggs. Feral couldn't do anything either. It was hiarious.

You start a new game, but there are no plague hearts?????? How is that the case? (I think since it is legal that the hearts are not visible, you have to get them to be visible somehow?).
yeah on lethal you just cant see the hearts on the map when you start
