stop overthinking and just do a 360 assessment - ask a close friend, a relative, a partner if you have one to take it and give you feedback based on their experience w/ you
The test is just the 1st step of thinking. You have to understand how the fuction really work, then how it manafest to the pair and interaction. But you HAVE TO have a person to talk to to understand yourself. You have to know what you think is not inportant, what reaction you will show first in every interaction is what will determine first 4 functions, test yourself in urgent situation or most natural environment where nothing hold you back like authority, rules, what should and don't and must not think what MBTI type framework you trying to lying to yourself. Extrovert and Introvert in MBTI is the thing you should left it rot and dont give af about it. Think as 8 functions not 4 letter MBTI trying to fked with your brain, function create letter not opposite. The closet to MBTI and a bit more detail based on Jung is Socionics.
Thanks for this insightful video. I can totally relate to the typing dilemma. I started with INFJ and from there I shifted to INTJ, INTP and ENTP; to finally reach my best-fit type ENTJ. The site 16Personalities only works in case there is full correlation with your Big Five preferences. In my case they really do, but I can understand that there are several instances in which it does not work. Like e.g.: an ESTP with a slightly above preference for Openness to experience in the Big Five. They are likely to mistype as ENTP. I have taken the Mistype Investigator you mentioned. It typed me as INTJ, although Te-dom. Second was ENTJ.
Loved hearing your story! It seems like you took some time to really explore it for yourself but using the tests as starting / entry points! Agree with you about 16personalities. I noticed too they seem to have recently changed their test a bit to be even more correlated with Big 5. It definitely has some limitations. I personally really enjoy the Mistype Investigator test and respect their work and nuance. Some of the best nuance I've seen. I've found it can be a little too intense for newcomers though.
@@ThinkMoreDeeply Thanks for the reply. I went as far to go to an MBTI practitioner to take the step II assessment. That time we came to the conclusion that I was ENTP. However, over time it did not click with me the way it is supposed to do. So, I contacted someone from the MBTI to explain this. They told me it is common to change perspective, even after completing the step II. In the end it made sense to me: Te > Ti; Ni > Ne; Se > Si and Fi > Fe. Conclusion: ENTJ.
I realized this on my own because I retook a test and I ended up with a different answer. I was an INFP and now I’m ENTP. I personally lean toward INFP being more accurate but I think this time around i was taking the test while I was going out more and being social. I do tend to go in the middle
What a great video! Such a great idea to do this! Here's hoping it helps people on their journey towards finding their type, and towards personal growth and development ✨
i've got a very black and white thinking so only choosing from the extremes is beneficial for me. no matter what kind of mbti test, cognitive test, and enneagram test; and even fun personality test i get the same results so the results are always super consistent. and researching the answers just confirms what I really am. you guys should try it out❤
I still can't figure out my type, but I lean towards ISFJ, it seems to be the most probable one. But according to every single test I've ever taken I'm an ENTJ, expect the one you guys did here, according to it I'm an Estj. So tests might not be the best solution when you feel lost, looking for your type. Because we all relate to those stances to some extend. Yet we exhibit behaviours which prove that we definitely aren't that type. Also you're right I'd be very careful asking others. It's sad but people around me have no idea who I am. They perceive me as someone selfish and cold as well as overconfident. Whereas I'm the most insecure and sensitive person I know lol
Just here to wish for you to feel more seen and understood by your friends ❤ sometimes it helps to actually talk these things out ("I wanted you to know I did this because I meant/wanted this, I feel like to you it seemed that I was thinking/intending that and might have made you uncomfortable.")
Can you type a game of thrones character? Her name is Daenerys Targaryen. People often type her as an infj but I see more Fi qualities in her than Fe so I was wondering what's your take on this?
I just took it, and I was surprised by just how much I loved it! 🤓 I will say, I didn't take Z's advice well at all... I couldn't bring myself to slide the indicator all the way to either side on any of the questions 😅 But I still got results, and they really helped me understand SO MUCH. Thank you 😁

Bahaha Z thank you for asking him about the 16p recommendations! This needed to be sorted out
Great work!
Thanks for watching!

I have the opposite problem, I always end up in the middle. I rarely go extremes.
@ maybe you can try answering personality test like that. it can never be neutral. you always lean a bit more to something

What assessment were you using in the video that showed the functions as a percentage? Looks good!
It’s the Mistype Investigator Test. Really great nuanced stuff but not always the best for all levels. Have fun!
Thanks!
