    As an INFJ I definitely relate to her when she was talking about her "lame rebellious phase". I've never been interested in partying, drinking, etc. and as a 21 year old, none of my friends understand that. They accuse me of being boring and lame but I genuinely have NO interest in any of that and staying home watching movies is much more interesting. It's nice knowing that I'm not the only one and that there's more to it lmao

A lot of people who've known me years are surprised when I say I'm an introvert because I can be really dynamic and charismatic. But the key is that I love being alone, I spend most time alone. I’m probably fine in work related conversations but I always worry about being seen as less intelligent than the group or on dates.
      Zendaya is so confident and self assured, it helps me be more open and honest about who I truly am. I have social anxiety and I really feel embarrassed by how much of an introvert and homebody I am. I thought I was alone in this but it turns out that’s pretty normal to a lot of people!

    im very late to this but wanted to add that both Zendaya and her mom have stated she was very very shy as a kid, to the extent that she had to repeat kindergarten cause she just wont talk in class, she found a way to be less shy through performing and has said at first she acted most of her interviews and videos, like she thought if she put out this more extroverted role then she wouldn't be too shy to interact, eventually she learned to let her own personality shine and have this extroverted flareups amongst her introverted personality. loved the video :)

My mom said that when I was a toddler, she would put me in the shopping cart and I’d sit there and say hi to everyone in the store. Every individual person. But then when I was 9 my friends told me I was really annoying so I became really shy and ever since then have been introverted.

    I’m an INFJ and I talk in non-linear way like Zendaya does. It is very frustrating because I wish I could explain or answer things in a clear way that makes sense to people. My brain just doesn’t work like that but I try my best. If I have the opportunity to write my thoughts out before something like a presentation or a meeting I will because that helps, but sadly I can’t prepare for everyday conversation like that 😂 I like the way you frame functions as “superpowers” though, it helps me to remember to look at these tendencies in a more positive light. And seeing the way Zendaya speaks, how that’s just the way she talks, that also makes me think that maybe I don’t appear as much of a mess as I think I do haha

      An INFJ with ENFP?
      INFJ should develop their Ti with ENTP, not Fi and Te with ENFP, it is better to develop functions that you have but not fully developed, rather then functions that you lack, but somehow develop it.
      But i doubt this was created by someone that knows of the functions, they must have been like, their core E "NF" P should be the same, while their behaviour "E" NF "P" should be different for both types existing, and a good balanced couple.

      @d.k.4217 3 года назад +19

      @@illsam That’s the thing though. Because Zendaya is a public figure she has to be somewhat extroverted but like he was saying, it’s more so coming from her extroverted sensing and feeling. She’s like a social chameleon, she’s adapting to people’s vibes and the situation which is like an INFJ’s strongest trait. INFJs are also very capable of being the most extroverted introverts and so can appear to many who only know them superficially as extroverts. It’s actually when you get to know INFJs better where it becomes more apparent that they truly are introverted by nature. And she probably wasn’t always an INFJ but developed into that personality type as she got older which is the case for many, myself included. I chose to be a teacher and surrounded by people all day, that at the end I choose me-time or time with limited people in my free time to gain energy again. I know she has a stylist but they usually share ideas so. eg.1, 2019 Met Gala, she dressed as Cinderella which was fitting the campy theme very well, I saw it as a spin on her Disney days, aka being a real-life Disney princess. eg.2 Dune's premier in Cannes or somewhere, her dress is the color of the sand, which represents her character, aka a Fremen living in the desert. She's not just dressing to look pretty, but actively echoes the themes of her work. I thought it was pretty cool

She lets others have their moment and time to shine, she never forces herself into a conversation of tries to be the center of attention. Even when she’s the biggest star in the room. ENFJ will generally be *on* almost all the time. Their deep desire for human connection, interaction and collaboration is the stærk difference between the two. Yes, they will need down time and yes they can be quiet just as.any extroverted type can....however, an INFJ will need *a lot* of downtime, and I mean *a lot!* - they will want to connect with other, but in short bursts, and it has to be meaningful, deep and for a reason... Sometimes just connecting online is good enough. They can easily hermit away and will fall into looping easier than their extroverted cousin. They won't campaign as much but still hold strong visions for the future and for the betterment of, well...pretty much everything. Self improvement will be high priority, while an ENFJ will resonate more with world improvement. Another easy way to tell the difference is just how do you feel after interactions, revved up for more...or needing a nap or tv veg.? How do you behave when stressed... Binge out on food, tv, obsessions, cleaning...or get lost in nitty gritty fine details, writing lists and organizing everything? They are cousins these two types but still, in essence really behave differently.
      Lots of love 💕 happiest holidays

    I think it's absolutely adorable that you call cognitive functions superpowers!! But at the same time, I don't like thinking of them as skills. I think they are more like automatic preferences. Ni-Fe is stereotypically known for being skilled at "reading people". Sure, it means you are paying attention to how other people are feeling and you are able to create a unique pattern or vision out of it, but that doesn't mean you are right. You might in fact be terrible at reading people. A Ti dom doesn't have to be smart, a Ne dom doesn't have to be creative. They just have to be trying to make sense of things or looking for possibilities and ideas. Of course, the more we prioritize a function, the more practice we get out of it but I think a lot of times people aren't given feedback or they simply do not take in the feedback so the function doesn't necessarily develop into a skill. Just a thought...

    As an INFJ I knew she was an INFJ when she talked about her “radar” since I saw myself in that. I try to be nice to people but I almost never get close friends. And I kind of lose interest in people when they assume that they are my “best friend” and such since I can see through them pretty quickly and I often say things like that I will invite them to things when I am aware that I don’t want them on my circle.
    And when he talked about laughing things of… I can not begin to express how many times that people have asked me why I’m not with them anymore when they said offensive things and I often deal with thing like that by laughing the of at the moment and then dealing with them
