Colleen did so good!!
Yes she did!!
I’m gonna try this this weekend with my kids and girlfriend! Thanks for the tips
Have fun! Good luck and let me know how it goes!
Thanks for this. Wakeboarding for the first time on Friday and I feel I am already professional 😎
Awesome! Have fun!
It took me a year to get up
Awesome!
Thanks for watching
To respect the water, you must be in the water 🧘♂️
Dude! Point your toes!! I'm using that step!!
Dude! I love your stuff. Thanks for commenting. I'm glad to help. Keep spreading the love. If you ever around the Phoenix area, I'm sure I can get you on a boat 😉
@@Sunni_days if you are ever in Tahoe area , I'd love to take you out and get some surf clinics from ya!
@halfcabking that would be sweet! I’ve never been to Tahoe 🏔️
Point your toes how? Not sure what that means…
@qkkarbassy164 on that specific step you point your toes “down.” What that does is allows the board to plane. You must make sure that it is the 3rd step though. If you point your toes too early it won’t work out.
I wish I would have know this before it took me 15 tries to get up
I wish I would’ve been there to help. The nice thing is you have now gotten up and you can share me this with any of your friends who want to try 😉.
Wish I could've before it took me two whole summers to get up and at least like 50-80 tries 😅
@@Ryoogah1 dang!! I wish I could have helped you 😢. Glad you got it figured out though.
You have people drop the handle on their first day? Why? I feel like there’s always this rush to drop the handle by beginners and it seems to be more for vanity than for skill, in my experience. They’re so quick to want to drop the handle that learning the fundamentals goes out the window. I encourage people to be able to have a loose finger on it, not coil it around their arm or put their arm thru the handle itself, so they’re not reliant on it but it’s there when they lose push. Seems to help with people getting frustrated when they fall out, and for drivers to get less annoyed too lol. Helps the gas bill a bit as well.
For me i just put my feet like im on a wakeboard and get up
Colleen is *FIRE*
She did great!!!
Bruh, my uncle just tells everyone to just stand up and 90% of the time it works. Stand up, get your board aligned with the boat and stand up.
Awesome. Glad he has a method that works. Have a wonderful night.
I tried it 30 times and never be able to stand up
Dang! Can you send me a video of your trying? I also have a video titled, "Wakesurfing For Beginners - Teaching Our Friend to Wakesurf" I go through the whole process with someone who has already tried a ton. This is a pretty good video to break down the barriers that hold you back from getting up.
The board is a little big
Beginners are better off on a larger board. It helps a lot.
