Crestal vs lateral sinus lift

#shorts A sinus lift is a bone graft procedure that will enable dental implant placement in the posterior maxilla. There are two types of sinus lifts, crestal sinus lifts and lateral sinus lifts. A crestal sinus lift is performed through a hole drilled in the crest of the jawbone. Once the sinus lift is completed, a dental implant can be placed during the same visit.
A lateral sinus lift is performed through a window cut through the side wall of the sinus.

But if youre younger, dentures arent the best because your bones that hold your teeth will deplete due to apathy(idk if this would technically be apathy but basically you dont have teeth in the bone and the bone depletes) this is the scenario when implants are recommended

Hi, bone graft material could be synthetic bone, sterilized cadaver bone, or even the patients own bone. I've also heard of sinus lifts being performed with "prf" (platelet rich fibrin) that was made from the patients blood.
