Sixam cc did an amazing job, this pack is beautiful, it's just a shame EA didn't think to add the items mentioned. The problem is the nursery cc game out there is REALLY good and I just don't see the point in paid content for this when there's already full nursery cc kits for free which are beautiful. I'm not super into decorating nurseries but the cc out there has made me love it!
Console players don’t have access to cc, so that’s a pretty big reason why content like this is still appreciated.
And then there’re just people out there whose computers can’t handle cc (I was certainly a part of that crowd, before I got my current pc)
It’s a pretty nice way to get some new stuff, without having to break the bank on an expansion or game pack (I’ve seen a lot of people be excited about this kit, because they don’t need to buy Growing Together to get more stuff for infants)
Also people including me can't download cc on their computer

I like that the floor play item happens to work without Growing Together. I'd love to find out what other items in packs are base-game compatible if a CC creator happened to make it.
I don't think it just 'happens' to work, they had the code for it already and implemented it in base game after the update specifically for this kit.
I didn't even notice the sad monkey when I was building with the pack oh my gosh that's so cursed 😭😭😭

I think both the new kits are some of the better ones. This one is definately a step up from the last few we have gotten. Did you know if you zoom in on the hot air balloon mobile, you will find a little suprise of who is inside it? check it it out its cool!
Not them marketing the kit with the goths and yet they didnt consider wall heights when the goth house is so tall
You can't tell what are the animals for the teddy ? 😂 I think there's an opposum (not a rat), a racoon, a skunk, a cat and a sloth. Not sure if the rest are also cats or not.
Yeah definitely an opposum but the skunk looking one could also be taken as a badger 🦡
the wallpaper i wish it has a colourful swatch too or pastel colour. for kids. more cheerful.

They should make curtains like counters u have one item in the list for the swap and then a little fold out thingy to choose how wide they are apart 1 to 5 tiles and the length

That would be a dream. Never going to happen. They barely want to make to counters with cabinets because of how many assets they are for just one object.
I was very hyped when I saw the theme but this victorian style is really not it for me. This geometric/floral pattern they tend to put on all the fancy/luxury fabric gives me the ick. It's also about time they give us a normal size teddy bear for kids to keep in their inventory and walk around with, like the imaginary friend one from the Sims 3.

The art studio looks pretty neat, and there's a bit of utility there. That's a kit I can see people using multiple times. This though, most people would use it once for this one style of house, and then never again. It's just way too limited for the probably $30 price tag.

So...Sixam (the creator as well as the planet) is obviously Maxis spelled backwards. BUT did you know that Maxis is actually Six AM spelled backwards. Will Wright and his friends who were working at some tech company met at 6AM to brainstorm games.

It feels european royal type of furniture, which its cool. I was expecting a more folklore/fairytale forest type of kit by the name. Maybe that will come in the mythical fairy expansion pack lol

I don't play the sims, I haven't for a long time. I've only tried sims 4 when they made it free and I stopped playing it after maybe a couple of weeks. Yet I keep on watching videos about EA f*ckung everything up about this game, because it's so entertaining.

I think it's a huge hint at the upcoming expansion. They could've marketed it with the lighter swatches and not included a scythe! I wonder if they're going to introduce the Goth ancestors as ghosts in a graveyard? I'm hoping for zombies, loads of dark macabre stuff, Grim Reaper job, and more old fashioned gothic building stuff!! This might be the first expansion I buy since Country Living!!
It's definitely giving ✨gothic baby✨ and I'm kind of obsessed! But of course EA can't let us have nice things and doesn't give us options for different wall heights... 🙄

I feel like you can achieve the artist aesthetic with the base game. Heck I'm pretty sure the "painting subject stand" is a career reward.
I think the wall frames can be used as table frames...just hover a surface

I like that being able to get cc playmats has been opened up for pc players that don’t have Growing Together, now that there’s one available in this kit- which way more affordable than an EP tag.
I have so much nursery type cc, despite having that EP because the in-game options are so limited… I wasn’t really interested in these two new kits- especially this one.. But SixamCC was one of the first build cc creators whose stuff I got, and knowing they made this stuff has me way more interested and wanting it more.

Also, in Australia there are bookshelves similair to that OUTSIDE in people's front yard, where you can go and switch books out for free. Very random but I've seen them everywhere and found them in random locations too

I was hoping for something along the lines of HeyHarrie's kids room pack. Something with beautiful wood swatches... Instead we got tacky objects that won't match anything else because it's so stylized. As usual.

I’m almost torn between wanting to support modder’s and not wanting to give EA another dime. Almost. Very smart move by EA to bring more modder’s into the mix. Great quality love it for you all.
I love this kit. I am going to get a lot of use out of it.
It would have been cool if you could click on the photo frame and an option to take pic of baby came up. Then you could select which child you wanted to include and it would autogenerate a headshot of the child. But then EA would actually have to put in effort, which we know they ain't gonna do.
I rlly like this kit but yea I rlly think they should always add the different wall heights like how much extra effort would it rlly be💀

the picture frames where you put your own picture im pretty sure can be put on surfaces too.
You can actually place the pictures from the wall on a desk etc. not sure if you have to frame them first
You can't use the design tool on regular base game bricks either. That hasn't worked for years 🙈
Design tool cannot be used on the toddler blocks with base game. I have always had to purchase a new set if I want a different swatch.
adding photo frames without an option of putting pictures of your sims' baby is a crime. otherwise (if we ignore usual problems) it a good kit.

Beautiful kit with high quality objects but one of the most boring kits in my opinion. They couldn't show anything new, we have all these items in the game already if you own Growing Together.
