I love this trick. It's probably the easiest backflip move on the trampoline. It also helps to get rid of the fear of a backflip.

I can't go straight over my head I always go over my right shoulder. How do I fix this?

Hi there! Practise makes perfect, so it's ok to take time to learn new tricks. Just try to repeat the basic steps over an over, and only move on to the next step when you have mastered the previous ones well. 💙
Here's couple more tips for the Backwards Somersault: Use your hands and shoulders evenly when pushing yourself over. While rolling backwards, make sure to tuck your knees close to your chest. Roll quickly enough to build momentum (this makes going straight easier). Shift your weight from your lower back to your upper back, and then onto your hands. When your knees and legs go over your head, push with your arms and shoulders. You should engage your hands and arms when your body rolls towards your neck. By doing so, you will protect your neck and head which is essential during this movement. Hope this helped to master the skill! 🤩
