OMG!!!!! I have been looking for this game for YEARS!!!! I had it when I was 8yo. It's not really LCD or LED & I don't know the actual classification. 31 years ago, my dad & I were taking a little road trip from San Antonio TX to Houston & he wanted to buy me a toy for the trip. God, I remember it so clearly. Being in the store, him asking "Are you sure this is going to keep you occupied for the trip?", even the lady behind the counter. Thx for posting. This really brings back memories!
Zardoz? Form the 1974 movie w/Sean Connery? I actually remember buying Hit & Missile. I was living in San Antonio TX in the late 70's. I was 8-9yo * my step-dad was driving me to Houston to visit relatives & wanted to buy me a toy for the 3-4hr ride. @ the store I remember him saying "Are you sure this is what you want?", & even remember the black woman behind the electronics counter.
I agree-I had Digital Derby first and couldn't wait to get Hit and Missile, but it wasn't quite as good. Digital Derby was possibly my favorite toy ever.
@PEANUTLOVEDADY Yea it is. Oddly enough, most of my memories from that era are video game based. I was introduced to gaming @ a young age, via my step-dad @ 6yo. He had some Atari game. I think that is why I so love vintage gaming to this day. Besides them being so fun, when I play certain games, I think back & can actually remember when/where & with who I was playing them. Only thing that sucks is, unlike back then, I now have a hard time finding people to actually play them with, haha.
Hang on a minute... is this the weird cousin of the Demon Driver? Even the same sound. My Demon Driver had a very clever feature to remind you that perhaps it was enough... It would burn my lap through my pyjamas!
@Matlike1 That is cool though, that we're similar. Yes it was the age. Did you have this game? Hit & Missile? I did, hehehe. I still remember buying it in 78 or 79. Like I said, I LOVE old games. Hard to find people to play online with though. I have only 1 cool person I play with regularly/1 time per week. I am not at all into modern shooters, but I do like RTS/Strategy-War games. Do you have emulators? Let me know about the online thing I asked you.
I love MAME. I've used it since about 1998/ver 0.28. For C64 I use VICE, but I have CCS64. I love Stella & I even have the USB Stelladapter so I can use a real 2600 joystick on my PC. PCAE (Atari 2600 emu) has online support. Atari800Win+ is an Atari 5200, 400/800 emulator with online support. Mostly I play MAME online. Many different games. Brawlers like Bad Dudes, Scrolling shooters like Metal Slug, Fighters like St.Fighter, etc. I play some NES online too w/Nestopia. Let's hook up.
Hi. I was looking around on RUclips & stumbled across this video again. 1 year ago, we briefly discussed video games, being of similar age, using emulators, etc, then I never heard back from you. I just wondered if you still do any retro gaming? I still use Mame, CCS64, Stella, etc. Also, I was looking at your channel. I'm a musician too BTW. (keyboards)
@Matlike1 I am a huge retro gamer. I have 16 vintage consoles/200+ carts, but I primarily use emulators. I have emulators for virtually every console and PC made between 1976 & 1996 and every ROM/Game (60,000+) for them. Some of the emulators like for Atari 2600, 5200, Intellivision, Commodore 64, NIntendo, Sega, and MAME (strictly an Arcade/Coin-op machine emulator), offer support for free online game. I am always looking for new retro gamers to play with online. Let me know if interested.
@TheMrZachary13 Does anybody do what? Service vintage electronic, hand held games? Buddy, if I knew, I'd sure as heck tell ya, but unfortunately, I do not. You'd need somebody who is electro-mechanically adept. Barring that, literally the only thing I could come up with is perhaps a Craigs List add. Say your looking to hire for a small job, somebody familiar with vintage 1970's electronics. That's all i got dude. Good luck.

I agree, kid. That game totally cheats.
