Hi Saeed, I'm so happy you're learning more about Supertramp wish is one of my 5 favourite band, aged 65, my entire adolescent was berced with this music as Genesis, Pink Floyd, these prog rock bands making a turn in my musical taste, and I'm hoping you'll continue. I hope you'll react to "Rudy", an exceptional song in my opinion. Have a nice day, Patrick from Luxembourg
I'm glad you mentioned the song "Rudy": the lyrics show a perfect example of a young man who dreams his life away. Musically, I find it is one of Supertramp's very best - my personal favourite. 🐝
@@SaeedReacts. I love your channel. You genuinely make my day. I'm British but I grew up and lived in Belgium for 38 years and my family all still live there so I have a particular affinity with you :-)
The end sounds like a children's xylophone. I remember listening to the record Crime of the Century on the record department of the department store V&D in Zeist, had to replace the vinyl copy two time before getting the cd in the nineties. My favorite Supertramp album.
GREAT band my friend. So varied and so much class. Anything off Crime of the Century I'd recommend, with 'Fool's overture' off 'Breakfast in America' as one of their more complex classics. Thank you.
Supertramp only have very good songs. "Fool's Overture", "Hide in your shell". My favourites but they are all great and very deep. They are supet underŕated. Big kiss from Lisbon. Ana
"Fool's Overture" (1977) is the masterpiece of SUPERTRAMP's masterpieces. Sensational and striking! A timeless classic of the genre. A musical and lyrical composition of great intelligence. It is impossible to come out of listening to this song indifferent and unscathed.
I love Supertramp so much! I'd like to see your reaction to "Take the long way home". Beautiful and deep lyrics. I'd love to know your interpretation of it. 😊
@@terrygelinas4593I love every album they had from “Crisis...” right up to “Famous last words”. After Roger left, they had a few good tunes but it was the collaboration with Rick that made the band... IMO. Cheers !!
Roger wrote this song at his mom’s house at 19 years old.song seems so simple but so complicated at the same time. You can’t go wrong falling into the Supertramp rabbit hole! Nothing but total greatness!
OK. That was the little single, but the accompanying album Crime Of The Century 1974 is progy brilliant. With the singles you don't do justice to the group and you get through it quickly The live album Paris 1980 is also fantastic.
When you hear this song amongst the others in this album Crime Of The Century, it just works so well. This whole album is a great listening experience.😊
I've been waitin since you mentioned you recorded it> Amazin isn't it Supertramp will never let you down every single flipping cut is amazing. Masters at work!!!!!! You;ve got in the rabbit hole now keep goin...... Even in the quiestest moment the whole album... Cheers
You do great tunes that are just off of center. (bad example is any FM station in North America) You're also well spoken and intelligent. Thank you for this song and the National Acrobat. Very cool. If you want to try something different delve into Queen 1973 first-1977. Listen to a few from their first 6 albums. You might be surprised. "White Man" 1976. Lyrics are a must. Cheers from canada.
@@SaeedReacts. Hi Saeed, I have been enjoying your reactions very much. It's your channel and you are free to react to any song and group you like, but when it comes to Supertramp I would recommend checking out the songs on "Crime of the Century", then "Crisis? What Crisis?", then "Even In The Quietest Moments" then "Breakfast In America". For Queen, you already know some hits, so you should try tracks from "Queen I", "Queen II", "Sheer Heart Attack" and then "A Night At The Opera". All these LP's are great, and seeing how a band grows and progresses can be so rewarding! Any way you choose I am here to enjoy the ride!!!
This was the first 'Tramp disc I ever heard. (On radio Caroline ?/ London ? ) Hits you right between the eyes. Been a fan ever since. -- Those "pirate" radios did a great job of changing the Brit music scene for the better back then.
🎊 Wise choice. There are very few groups in the World that you should OWN every single album they ever made. Supertramp, Steely Dan, Led Zep, & The Moody Blues, are a few. My vote is for “Goodbye Stranger” as a follow-up ‘Tramp Tune.
💤💤🌪️🌪️🌪️💤💤. It is probably safe to say that you are aware that this band , Supertramp, is amazing. Very cool style , outstanding musicians , great singers and creative songwriters. I will recommend another great song from them that most everyone here in America knows. It is .. "Give A Little Bit" 🧨
From what you said about people saying you're a dreamer, have you ever considered that you may be neurodivergent, autistic even? It was liberating and empowering for me to realise that at 50 years. Other giveaways can be poor sleep, self employment, creative/inventive and people asking what is wrong with you or misunderstanding motivation in conversation. H.A.N.D. 🙂
I have wondered this in recent years after i learned more about myself and about these topics. Was never diagnosed, but it would explain some things in my life. Poor sleep is definitely something i have suffered from for years
@@SaeedReacts. formal diagnosis can be expensive, drawn out and problematic. Self diagnosis is accepted in the autism community. You know how you feel. It's not an illness. It's a special type of consciousness and conscientiousness.
Glad you enjoyed this Saeed......you are listening to one of the Best Rock bands of all-time. period.
Amazing song! Thanks for watching.
Love their crisp and fresh sound and creativity.
Glad you are back to Supertramp. Deep satisfying musical hole 😊

One of the greatest bands of all time. I highly recommend Hide In Your Shell and Fools Overture

Time to go down the Supertramp rabbit hole. Love this band & one of their most underrated albums is Crisis? What Crisis?
Saeed, i think you were in school, because you are being a writer............wait.........there is a song called "School"!
School and me didnt quite get a long, but i will check out a song named School 😄

So excited for this one love you
Amazing song. Much love!
My next suggestion would be “Even in the quietest moments”. You have several dozen more to go, of equal or better quality.❤❤❤
Thanks for the recommendation!
It's a shame and skip the two best albums, very poppy taste.✌
@@SaeedReacts.you’re welcome, sir.
@patrickwilder6492 that album for sure, plus Crime of the Century, plus Crisis What Crisis
