Happy holidays, kings A few comments to go over briefly, I don't check comments often: Q. Why is Zeus ~ Odin, a problem for Kratos 3 VS Kratos 4? A. This is only a problem if Thor is stronger or relative to Kratos in GOWR. My GOW friend wanted me to give the side that 3 might be stronger because he feels as though it is unrepresented due to the fact people assume that because Kratos got older, he got stronger (Which is true) but it's ignoring that Kratos in 3 Had all of Hope, and in 4 he only has a small shard of it meaning that growing older does not inherently make you stronger than all of Hope. The reason it's a problem if Thor is stronger than Kratos, is because we know Thor > Baldur, and if Kratos struggles or is relative to Thor while going all out in GOWR then 3 Kratos would be stronger by default. This is because Zeus ~ Odin > Thor, in which Kratos could annihilate Zeus while he was amped off of Fear to top it all off. The novel statement of Baldur being the strongest he's ever faced is also debated about and is also contradicted by Bruno's statement that Zeus ~ Odin, who would annihilate Baldur, with some thinking that this statement was made with Kratos thinking Baldur may have been the strongest mortal he's ever fought before learning he was a God. The statement of Corey could also be referring to them base to base, as Hope is an amp to Kratos, rather than how strong he is normally which is the unanswered contention people have with 3 vs 4. Not only is Kratos from 3 amped by Hope, but he is amped by Hades (Who he absorbed and loses after 3) and also has his God of War powers he absorbed from the Blade of Olympus (that he loses after 3) that makes people think base to base is the real question, as end of 3 is not just Kratos any longer but a multitude of things combined. This is why I said, "No matter who you think is stronger." as I am not trying to objectively say one is stronger than the other but give a case for why 3 could scale to 4 pretty reasonably, even if you say 4 is stronger and was holding back in GOW4, this video only needs 3 to be able to scale to suppressed 4's feats. Which due to the Bruno statement of Zeus > Thor / Baldur, would mean that 3 Kratos can do everything Kratos did in 4 at the bare minimum. This is also important as 3 has better special tools to deal with Thor than 4 does, and makes the matchup more interesting. Q. Why did you say Thor isn't a good fighter? A. This is not what was stated, the argument is that Thor usually does not resort to his highly advanced fighting styles or abilities that often, not that he can't. To answer a side comment as well, yes, both universes in Thor and Kratos' cases are infinite when I'm talking about them.
It’s a shame Kratos lost all of his cool weapons he gained from killing God’s. Hades weapons that give you a army of the dead was my favorite, it was like Warframe Nekros.
@@emanueldargan I know, but I was just talking about the blades, it’s possible the game nerfed them, like everything else, so it’s possible they can do far more, basically working like Sung Jin Woo powers.
Kratos is holding back it’s implied throughout the whole game and in this one gow4 comic it’s revealed he kept his anger from rising the whole time holding himself back, though gow3 Kratos should be more powerful due to many things such as not holding back and having way better weapons.
Yo Seth could you do a video scaling the power of Asura from the Asura’s Wrath game? I’ve seen various people comparing Asura and Kratos and it would be pretty awesome to see who you think would win in a versus battle…
Regarding speed feats, Kratos reacted to, parried, and repelled the Light of Helios, which was stated in the game lore to have lit up the mortal realm, tartarus, hades, etc) instantaneously in a manner similar to that blast of frost Thor took.
"Classic" Thor when he's serious has a lot in his tool bag that wasn't even mentioned like his mastery over impossible storms that are exponentially more powerful than normal, anti-force blasts, energy absorption and rechanneling of that same energy one hundredfold or more, etc. If you just relegate Thor to a brick that smashes with his hammer, his fight with Gorr was shattering planets as collateral damage while they fought in space
Greek gods are actually immortal and dont get weaker with age, they actually get stronger with age so i think he is definitely stronger than he was in gow 3. He has also been holding back his wild beaslty full power because of his son.
Personally always loved Rune King Thor, and it feels like a more deserved powerup than just getting part of The Power Cosmic from Galactus. Also he's, as far as I'm aware, far more powerful.
@@WayneTwitch Not at all, know the characters power level before you say shit like that because Hercules is at least High Universe Level. Tier: At least High 3-A, likely Low 2-C to 2-C Name: Hercules Origin: God of War Gender: Male Age: Unknown Classification: Demigod, Son of Zeus, Greek Hero Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Air Manipulation (Can create shockwaves with his sheer strength), Resistance to Earthly Diseases and some forms of Magic Attack Potency: At least High Universe level, likely Universe level+ to Low Multiverse level (Rivals the mightiest of the gods and titans in strength. Matched God of War 3 Kratos. Was implied to have temporarily replaced Atlas in holding up the heavens so the latter could retrieve the Apples of Hera) Speed: Infinite (Can react to Helios's light, who's able to illuminate the entire underworld with his light, which is stated in numerous sources to be infinite in size) Lifting Strength: At least Infinite (As in the original myths, Hercules held up the infinite universe so Atlas could retrieve the apples of Hera. He was also able to match Kratos in push and pull, and threw him hard enough to temporarily knock him out) likely Immeasurable (The Greek Reality in God of War was shown to contain numerous universe-sized dimensions bordering the main universe, such as Thanatos's Domain of Death, which predates even the Titans themselves, Nyx’s parallel dimension of eternal night, and Morpheus's Dream Realm, which had its own flow of time) Striking Strength: At least High Universal, likely Universal+ to Low Multiversal (His attacks were making Kratos bleed and visibly exert effort) Durability: At least High Universe level, likely Universe level+ to Low Multiverse level (Resisted a countless amount of direct physical attacks from Kratos throughout their fight, and even while completely trapped and helpless, it took nearly 20 blows with the Nemean Cestus to finish him off) Nigh-Invulnerability: Hercules, like most demigods and Gods, is invulnerable to a certain extent. It takes far more to end his life than simple injuries like a human would, as Hercules takes a tremendous amount and variety of attacks from Kratos during their clash, including but not limited to cuts and severe blunt attacks with his own Nemean Cestus, with the resultant blood loss and trauma not appearing to weaken or significantly contribute to his death, which itself was via Kratos crushing his face into his skull. Superhuman Stamina: Hercules never tires and can remain in battles for very long periods of time, as not even when facing Kratos and after taking enormous amounts of injury and blood loss did he seem to be exhausted. Standard Equipment: The Nemean cestus Intelligence: Lots of battle experience from completeting his 12 tasks which included but not limited to: Slaying the Nemean Lion and bring back its skin, which was invincible against attacks. Slay the 9-headed Hydra in the swamps of Lerna. And Capture Cerberus, the three-headed dog guardian of the Underworld, alive and bring him back. Dude literally held up the infinite Universe for Atlas. He’s no joke.
You do know that Greek gods get stronger as they age ( confirmed by cory barlog ) which means that present kratos is stronger then kratos that defeated zeus!!. And kratos lifted the the temple in gow 4. Which technically means that kratos has infinite strength!!!!!!
@@glaxticalien8020 Clearly thats fake news considering Kratos killed Zeus. Thor is the most powerful god there ever has been Thor is legit 10 x stronger then Kratos but Thor is a idiot and Kratos is smart and also Thor has endless strength and stamina Bulder also almost killed kratos and bulter a kid compared to Thor
I'm surprised Seth didn't brought up the God Butcher which Thor (even though he needed help from other versions of him) did beat but I wasn't surprised by the outcome... much. COSMIC KING THOR?! WTF DID THAT COME FROM?! But you know what, I'm not fully surprised. Comics do crazy stuff all the time! Nice video!
Cosmic King Thor basically took over as the new All-Father of Asgard as Odin is sort of retired. It's Donny Cates writing this version of Thor (after Jason Aaron's super long Thor run), so this version of Thor is pretty hax for modern comic versions of Thor.
I mean in terms of kratos stamina he basically completes everything in god of war 2 and 3 non stop. He’s always running and always fighting, or always climbing every step of the way. Plus he was fighting god one after the other with more or less no real break in between.
About Thor's God-Blast, this attack is specifically deadly for any God even Ego mentions he is terrified of the God-Blast because it would kill him. After the fight with Baldur Kratos was heavily breathing meaning his stamina is and regeneration is not as good as it once was, so GOW 3 Kratos will be superior since he is younger. While TBOO (the blade of olympus) can drain powers Thor too has shown to absorb too as seen with his fight with Glory. Thor has shown he can negate mystical powers like cutting off the connection between Juggernaut and Cyttorak. This could go either way depending on what you allow and what you dont, TBH Thor's God-Blast alone is enough since it is specifically deadly to any God.
Another factor that needs to be brought up to is the difference in Motivation and Drive between both GOW3 and the new God of War. Whereas Kratos in God of War 3 was a full blood-thirsted rage monster, Old Man Kratos is constantly attempting to keep his rage in check and It’s even implied heavily that he’s holding back throughout the entire story, even with the Balder fights.
It's really irrelevant. The only reason this comparison even seems remotely fair is because he's nerfing tf out of Thor. I'm an old man Kratos fanboi, but Thor literally becomes the most powerful being in the universe as the Rune King.
But we are talking about Base comic Thor. And true rkt would kill kratos, I'm waiting until they make the last gow game in whatever mythology to see his true power.
Personally based on what cory stated, and how God's generally get stronger as they age in game, i assume that old Kratos + shard of hope would be able to beat his god of war 3 self. But again that would be ignoring the contradiction that even Cory has stated the gods in realms are of relatively same power. That would either mean it's just a retcon that happened if Thor is stronger than Zeus, or that Cory was talking about Gow3 Kratos without awakening hope. Another question i have is what about GOW god Kratos who had God power + hope? How strong is that beast?
Strong enough to Damage and Destroy any Concept in Existence... that's how Strong. With Hope, he Transcends every Infinity, Transcends every Concept (which makes him have Power over all Concepts), plus he has Infinite Power as well and way more Haxes, such as ShapeShifting (growing into The Size of a God like how Zeus did in GoW 2), he also has Hax-Resistance, such as Resistance to Conceptual and Physical Existence Erasure (when Fear Zeus Broke Kratos' Neck and Tried to Conceptually and Physically Erase Kratos right before Kratos Activated The Power of Hope), having PURE HOPE, which Bruno Velasquez Stated it being a Platonic Concept, not just some Ordinary Concept. So yeah... PRRRRETTY DAMN POWERFUL if you do some Research about it and talk to The Devs about it too.
While Gods do usually get stronger with Age. Kratos has lost so many powerful weapons, gear and abilities between GOW3 and GOW4 so it wouldn't surprise me if he's weaker than his former self or if he's about the same level of power with the added strength+ leviathan axe countering the loss of the weapons/abilities.
@@OK-yy6qz tbh Kratos doesn't need those weapons to kill a god. He killed Ares without his blades. But again that's why this thing is so complicated if one wants to go by the director and novels, we have to ignore the contradictions 😂😂 The real question is how much destruction would god Kratos + PoH cause?
@@carrot7215 yes Kratos is powerful even without weapons that doesn't mean the weapon's don't amp him though. Each weapon is also relative to the God that was originally using it so these weapons are insanely powerful. At the very least the weapons would give him a ton of Hax which also makes him powerful in a sense. This also shows in the Gameplay GOW4 Kratos clearly does more damage to his opponent but his more limited arsenal makes his opponent just as hard to kill as they were in the previous games
Minor correction about Cosmic King Thor: He took the Power Cosmic from Galactus. He literally stated he took it. Also, glad to see you didn't break out the big guns like Phoenix King Thor or Rune King Thor lol. Those I think are no diff wins over Kratos. But I like the throwback to God Blast. Another feat he, Thor, rarely uses, AntiForce which is almost as powerful as the Godblast.
@@rinnerebirth1171 Rune King Thor is 100% cannon. Phoenix King Thor isn't technically cannon because it's a future possibility. However, Rune King Thor is absolutely cannon. That was literally him ending Ragnarok the cycle and it still holds in the continuity. So you can use him. And he claps Kratos no diff.
@@gohanblanco5641 I'd debate that one with you. Rune King Thor was rewriting reality as he walked. His subconscious stopped Mangog, a charging, raging, Mangog...without even thinking about it. And then destroyed him with the wave of his hand. TWSAIS were Beyonders, but then someone mentioned they were from the realm of The One Above All from his House of Ideas. I'd say Rune King Thor is easily more powerful than any other version still.
Kratos' speed while travelling the world tree can't be ascribed to his physical feats because that's the magic of the place itself. He was travelling with his son at the same time who has no such kratos speed. It is safe to say though that he is fast enough for thors speed not to matter on its own as kratos is in the god killing business.
@@defintlynoob4263 In God of Wat 2018, you literally fight the valkyries head on in an arena. Just take the main Valkyrie, you literally fight her in Midgard after killing all other valkyries. You basically fight her on earth. The valkyrie isnt carrying Kratos on her back, neither are they fighting along the branches of Ygdrassil. Kratos is basically fighting an impossibly fast being on earth and manages to win. Your ISS analogy makes no sense here.
there is a difference between travelling speed and fighting speed..valkaries were not just running in that fight it was just a normal fight which at least human eyes could react to stop speaking nonsense@@bigjuice2623
I would say you definitely downplayed the cosmology, as you mentioned universes in marvel as if they were just Universal, I'd argue it's more consistent that they scale way higher. Great video regardless.
Personally I would be more interested on a power scaling assessment of Dante from Devil May Cry and him vs Kratos than just another Kratos vs Thanos, but Both are Cool!
So Kratos can die, but he'd only go to Hades because of where he's from and he'd just climb out again. Not to mention, he's not only a god, but the embodiment of a concept itself, war. If you want speed feats, he's got the boots of Hermes, as well as the speed and reaction time of a God of Olympus. It's simply slowed down so we can play and understand what's going on in the game. An example of that is when he takes the powers of the titans. Not only did he literally rip apart an entire pantheon of creationists gods with his bare hands, but then proceeded to kill Kronos himself... it makes no sense, but essentially was killing time, lol
@@cringekiller348 it’s not though, the Titans defeated the beings that created the universe then got defeated by the Gods of Olympus who then got slaughtered by Kratos. Hell, Kratos has killed some of the Titans also. Dude is op
The GOW versions of the Greek Gods were heavily nerfed. If they were the true full power mythology Gods there would only be one GOW and it would be like 10 seconds long because Kratos would have been Molly wopped by the first God e fought.
Hey just wanted to mention that mathematically speaking, you can in theory fit infinite subdivisions into a finite space. Think of infinite series that converge. Split a bloc of paper into 1/2 then 1/4 and so on and you get an infinite pages book. So the book with infinite pages can have a finite volume and weight.
Same here. I know comic, games, movies are supposed to just be entertainment but then it gets to the point where it seems like a five year old write this stuff.
One of the things that, to me, always puts Kratos at an advantage, is to find the weakness in his enemies. He's faced hordes of oddly powered foes and always comes out on top because, not only can he survive their onslaught, but he finds their weaknesses and exploits it. Sure he's brutal and tenacious. But his unyielding resourcefulness is what really makes him THE God of War.
There's honestly no way to properly scale this fight because comics are highly inconsistent in terms of power level. It's whatever the writer wants it to be. Sometimes Thor can even be hurt by bullets, and other times, he can destroy planets with one swing of his hammer. Thor's power scaling is equivalent to rolling a dice in a D&D game.
@@weafy6007 that’s why we say Lore Kratos, because why would we use gameplay Kratos? The creators of the game said themselves that no one would play a game where there’s no challenge, where every person you run into you one tap. Wouldn’t be a fun game. Comics has no excuse to be inconsistent while a game does
@@thekidnasa1126 it makes no sense if gameplay isn't reflected with lore because that would mean every time we saw kratos struggle with something he was holding back which is stupid when he's on the verge of dying
Baseline Thor has shown consistent infinite/trans infinite multiverse feats, with the occasional outlier low outerversal feats. Things like -killing demogorge, an actual eternity level being that was the Marvel concept of eternity that eats other gods as sustenance (clarified by the writer as he specifies that demogorge was meant to be the Marvel multiverse’s incarnation of the concept of eternity) - Thor one shoted King Amatsu, who at the time was able to destroy almost 99% of the trans infinite Marvel Multiverse with his power -Gorr the god butcher states that Thor is the strongest bring he has ever faced up until that point, and he’d actually killed a celestial himself - Thor has knocked out the Sentry with just one strike after getting bum rushed by him -Thor knocked over and severally wounded a mid-fed Galactus, shattering his helmet and making him scream from the pain. This is during Thor’s continuing fight with The Silver Surfer, who he blitzes past to do this -Thor tanks a hit from the unbinding stone, which if he didn’t would have destroyed the trans infinite multiverse And these are just a handful of crazy things. All base level, no Thorforce, no runes, just baseline Thor. He’s an absolute monster who holds back most of the time because he’d literally destroy the Earth if he didn’t. Now imagine him actually being given his strongest canon forms and you start to get a better picture of just how scary of a character Thor really is. It’s hard to justify Kratos coming out on top if we’re actually giving Thor all his continuity feats. Which since Marvel does soft reboots of its characters rather than the hard reboot line at DC, then a good majority of his stories that don’t branch off into alternative timelines (like the reign Thor storyline) can and are valid to use. Though with roundabout 70 years and thousands of comics, you’re bound to find ludicrous stuff all over a character’s continuity.
@@mxnghanclan ik I was just stating it, but when thor stalemated the world serpent was aware and ready overall, when baldur beat him he sneak attacked him so it was easier to win. Thor out classes baldur in brute strength and power but baldur is the better hand to hand combatant.
Mimir said he doesnt know because he doesnt know. Out of universe Thor is meant to be the big boss for Kratos we are waiting for so we cant get a statement like "Yeah Thor is tough but your dad got this"
This video should be titled, “Loopholes Kratos Can Use to Beat Marvel Comics Thor”. Love both characters dearly, but Thor has performed feats which are just inconceivable in the world of GOW. The lore is more fleshed out and his displays are conceptually more grandiose than anything we’ve seen Kratos experience.
You missed the part where he said he is using base thor lol. He specifically stated what version of Thor he is using. He said any other version like classic, cosmic Thor etc would beat kratos.
@@OK-yy6qz which multiversal feat? The strongest foe (game wise not actual lore) was Zeus. In game, the gods have hardly shown enough power to pull off planetary destroying feats meanwhile Thor has gone up against deities that could easily destroy planets and much more. Kratos has a shot against base line thor but he gets stomped by basically any other incarnation.
@@user-ey4ut9uc8w in game Thor Splintered the God tree in his fight with the serpent. Same serpent that got destroyed by Baldur. In game Kratos have fought opponents that can destroy both the Elysium and Tartarus both stated to be infinite. In game his fight with Baldur was damaging all the realms. In game he defeated the sisters of fate who are straight up omnipotent and both know and dictate what will happen. In game he defeated the very consept of fear when Zeus was using it. In game he kills Helios and the sun stopped existing. Also why not include lore? The lore exists for a reason and can give you better feats/understanding of the opponents than the game
3:32 actually the feat you are referring to takes place in the future of the game’s canon timeline. The splintering of the Yggdrasil sent Jormangundr back in time before his own birth, and thus Thor would be older and possibly stronger than he is in GOW 2018. Just wanted to clear that up. Great video!

Nice. Also if you think about it, just a single cyclops from the GoW franchise could power scale to be a threat to put entire world if Kratos really is this fast and strong. After all, those monsters do *hurt* him. Addendum: I was apparently misunderstanding the situation
@@some_shitposting_idiot3023 yep, creators have said that the only reason he struggles with trolls who are building level is for gameplay only and that his true feats are from novels and statements
Kratos in gameplay is hurt by humans. That's for pure gameplay purposes because he can't only fight Gods and the game would be boring if the other threats couldn't even hurt him. Very few Monsters aside from the Gods are remotely as powerful as Kratos.
I saw this one going similar to Thor vs Hercules. Can kratos knock mljonir from Thor's hand. Great vid. My opinion was when I played through GOW4 kratos was holding back a lot considering he kept his rage in check and didn't use most his godly abilities. And technically rivaled all father status. But we will see cosmic king Thor takes the win fair enough.
@@cringekiller348 lol well comics always take it too far it'd almost pointless to make unique heroes when they all end up scaling to do the same shit in a different twist and then they're so OP but how do they still lose to others?
It's weird, in the Avengers guide I have it's stated that the Godblast can even kill immortals. Going by that, I question whether or not Kratos could really resurrect from being destroyed by it. But I don't think it's consistently shown to do that.
I like when you scale more western characters. Just waiting on you to jump on the Invincible hype when future seasons blow the first one out of the water.
I think if GoW4 Kratos had every weapon from every GoW game(since he is able to carry multiple weapons) and every accessory from the GoW games, he would fuck damn near everyone up.
I would disagree that thor would lose entirely. Here is why, on the thortalk channel. A video goes into depth of Thor's fighting skill and prowess of about a millennia at minimum. Also we gotta consider warrior madness Thor. He would be concentrated on only Kratos with no one else to be a distraction. Base Thor feats as previously stated are at galaxy levels or universal levels. Warrior madness Thor will be 10x the amount
Thor has fought skyfather level charcters a lot of times and had hurt them or killed them. When thor is going 100 percent he low muitversal to muitversal.
@@marvelous971-j6m Skyfathers held back on him.The thing with Odin(Odin due to the Odinforce being excausted needed to use the Destroyer armor on Thor and Thor once beat him when he was nearly without any Odinforce but some)and Zeus is that they are weaker than Thor(Thor is created to be superior to his father) and Hercules without Odinforce and magic amplification and the amount with they amp themselves varies. Like against Hulk where Zeus choose to just beat him up but Hera stated he could just vaporize him in a blast but Zeus refused. For Odin aside from how much he holds back it varies on how well rested he is/Odinsleep which replenises the Odinforce. Being a skyfather means you get the right to have those magical amps. Thor is consistently below Sentry who is only 2.4e34 MT(AKA 1 million exploding suns) which isnt enough to cover the distance to destroy even two solar systems level(but more than enough for one) At times in classic comics Thor could show power above that level but the methods are dubious or based on Mjolnirs absorption and other amps. Heralds are solar system level and skyfathers are multiversal
I think an interesting question is whether or not kratos still has all of the weapons and powers he obtained from killing all the Greek gods as well as when different titans and gods granted him power.
Hey SethTheProgrammer if you are interested in ideas may I make a suggestion regarding powerscaling? How about a powerscaling analysis video about Ren Fuji from Dies Irae a title of Shinza Bansho also known as the Masadaverse? Ren Fuji becomes an extremely strong and powerful character compared to even the most powerful of anime verses and faces outerversal power houses thanks to an cosmological metaphysical power known Taikyoku that gives a user of it power over every aspect of the universe and transcends dimensions. It would be great to see a detailed powerscaling meta analysis about the Shinza Bansho series which is likely even one of the most powerful fictional cosmologies in fiction that would make it pretty far in the ranks of the SCP Mythos hierarchy even. And that verse is having some new extremely powerful entities entering it or on the way such as Saint Alagadda, Sefiros and Qlippoth, and SCP-7709.
Kratos without weapons is simply unkillable , how can you beat Kratos ? Even without his rage he is cursed and can’t stay dead , he tried so many times in so many different ways and he can’t die , Thor is stronger on most versions of him but Kratos is gotta come back stronger and kill him in the end because Kratos has killed a whole pantheon himself , Thor is just one god in his pantheon
Actually Thor can die. He is long lived, he is brought back due to continuity bs and multiverse. But he canon can die and stay dead, he is fated to die in Ragnarok too. Kratos is true god immortal and literally been said by the authors and directors he is holding back on the last game and when he fought against gods they are technically moving beyond time and space, but its portraid as is in the game because its a a game, but he says that the fight go beyond reality.
I think Thor's H2H skills are downplayed here, considering he goes toe to toe with Hercules all the time, and Hercules is a master of wrestling and Pankration. I thought the rest was pretty fair. You could bring up Warrior Madness Thor or Rune King Thor. But all good.
Not to mention Thor once beat a dude called "Man beast" who is basically a man and wolf who is 1 million years old and has mastered all forms of martial arts.
ComicBook/Marvel Thor is on a whole different level. Kratos would not stand a chance. Simple examples, Kratos cannot breath in space, fly or even withstand a blast of the Sun. All ComicBook Thor could do and live.
Kratos can breathe in space he was able to breathe in the outer space of Ares. He could fly with Icarus wings and took the blast of Helios who’s stated to embody the sun and literally is the sun. Apollo also stated he can heat hotter than the sun.
Hang on a minute, Kratos moving so fast he can move through time is only based on him being able to traverse yggdrasil? Isn't that something completely useless in battle and he can't move in incredible speeds in any other way?
He can't move fast asf, but he can fight fast asf. Many of Kratos' enemies tried to lock him in time and it never worked. He also fought against beings that could cross infinite dimensions instantly, and scales to beings that existed before time and space were a thing.
@@tomchuur6431 Pretty sure kratos is fast asf, like someone else in the comments said. Kratos parried and repelled helios light whilst being like 3 meters away from him, which is also said to light up all of reality instantaneously. (tartarus, mortal realm, hades etc etc..)

@@tomchuur6431 I'd disagree with you, since like I said he took herme's boots. So if we assume that hermes speed originates from his boots then kratos has hermes speed.
Edit: Kratos is way stronger in the newest GOW game. His feats are insane, and beats Thor WHILE holding back. There’s no debate now. Kratos reacted to, blocked, countered, and killed Pollux and Castor who were using TIME for speed. Matching that with him having faster combat speed than Hermes, whom dodge light that could instantly light an infinite universe, and his speed feat with the tree in GOW4 (if used), he blitz Thor. Kratos killed the gods who killed the titans who killed the creators of all of creation in the Greek pantheon, which is a multiverse with infinite universes. He clapped them all with pure rage, decimating pretty much all of them and leaving nothing but ruin. He claps any version of Thor.
I wonder if Kratos could win against GORR THE GOD BUTCHER or maybe they'll talk about The Gods they have Slain over some Ale. And could Kratos survive Doom Eternal's Hell. Respect and keep up the epic work.
Thor wins. Kratos only has feats based on the game whereas Thor has many writers and feats. For instance being impaled by the necro sword. The same necro sword to slay a celestial which is above sky father. Zeus had helped defeating the titans. Odin and Zeus are more equal to one another. Rune King Thor + Power Cosmic + thorforce makes him near unbeatable. Kratos on the other hand needed the sword that Zeus got in order to kill Zeus. Kratos needs weapons in order to beat people. Thor is all himself. His hammer isn’t his power it is merely meant to control it.
@@calebstephan2083 you do know in fiction no death is really permanent. Its like some of you just find excuse for Kratos. If he dies it means he lost. If he comes back then that's another fight. Thor in comics will slap kratos Thor in mythology will either be tied with kratos or etc. Mcu Thor doesn't have good feats n will almost never have any looking at scaling in movies. So kratos slaps this version
We’ll base Thor does have things like warrior madness and other very crazy cosmology feats that you could put into play for him. Of that's the case Base Thor defeating Galactus Overpowering infinite gravity holding the multiverse Reviving himself from Valhalla And defeating celestials Should be included as well

Seth basically said Kratos would win DEPENDING on certain conditions we allow for Kratos. He even said the sentence “if we assume that Kratos can...” so it’s all conditional against Based Thor.
For those on the side of kratos>base Thor, Thor has other feats that could be used to make a base Thor>kratos argument. 1.Phoenix force scaling Thor knocks out the Phoenix force. Phoenix transcends the multiverse. The Phoenix could destroy all of creation/Omniverse. Pheonix is a conceptual entitiy. It makes reality twist, collapse, and reform. Pheonix overwhelmed pre recton beyonder. Abstracts have even shown on panel bowing down to her. She is alpha and omega, chaos and order, beginning and end, life and death, the passion of creation, love and destruction. Omniverse contains universe that can be proved to hold infinite dimensions or dimensions in general. These universes are stacked upon each other, each being a thought in a bigger thought. There’s transfinite(bigger then infinity)universes. Each universe has a macro verse a reality above the universe which is then again transcended by Asgard. 2.Additional feats:Thor also shattered a root of yggdrassil which yggdrassil exists as a concept and holds space time. Thor or gods are junglian types or however you say it. Thor divinity transcends dimensions.Erik Masterson Thor had one tenth of thors power said by Loki and beat gladiator. Mystic galactus the one who absorb dormmamu said he’s the most formidable mortal he’s faced. Thor fighting the destroyer armour rendered heavens which lie above the universes asunder. The armour can tank big bangs tanked the death of its own reality and big crunches. Thor could fight surtur someone who could burn and destroy the multiverse or yggdrassil. You could also find some base Thor feats of him hurting galactus.I heavily doubt kratos can contend with other versions like old king, rune king, cosmic king, or pheonix king Thor.
None of what u said is cannon and if kratos had spinoff comics just to see how strong he gets like Thor does it would be over for Thor we literally only follow one kratos vs Thor who has like 30 different variations
older Kratos is far stronger Cry Barlog said it, the producers said it, no one at Santa Monica denies it. He only uses the power he needs at the moment.
agreed, though base Thor of all Thors shouldn't be that far fetched when it comes to him fighting Kratos he's still powerful but Kratos is likely on his level.
Kratos Isn't Weaker In The New Games, He's Just Holding Back Mimir Says So In The Novel. He Fears That If He Gives In To His Rage Then He Becomes The Monster The World Hails Him To Be. And If He Loses Control In Front Of His Son He's Afraid Loki Will Fear Him And Lose Him. It's In The Novel 👊🏾
Some of us prefer the interpetation that he is weaker cause thats more interesting and has bigger stakes and danger. There is actually waay more evidence that he is weaker
So if Kratos has the Blade, we assume it works on Thor, we let him scale to the other Gods stamina (which makes no sense cause you can only scale him to their physical stats. How do we now he can also fight as long as Zeus???), we assume him moving inside Yggdrasil makes him as fast as ??? What? Makes no sense anyways.. So we use all of Kratos Symbolic feats and NOT his literal ACTUAL FEATS. And Thor is not allowed to use his Godblast, Anti Force, Teleportation and other Hax? So if we take the max highball Kratos and a nerfed version of Thor? Result of video? Kratos wins. LOL???
100% Thor would destroy Kratos honestly IMO not even close. That is because of how the comic version of "superheroes" are written Thor"s first appearance in a comic was in 1962 he has like 45 years on kratos in fiction. Seth does his best to try to make Kratos win but it would not even be close. For example he states Thor has an ability that can send Kratos to a realm where he could not survive, but says since Thor doesnt use it a lot that he wouldnt lol?
@@Rilosilo2 I love how Seth uses the "oh he doesn't use it often" argument for Thor, but then he gives Kratos a bunch of tools he NEVER uses after GoW3 like the Blade of Olympus. He's clearly biased lmao
@@zomebody5529 to be completely fair, its bullshit power scaling anything in the marvel universe lmao. Legit just a bunch of made up mumbo jumbo to make the characters stronger so they can keep writing them, its insanely unreasonable to say "ah yes thor wins because of these tools that defeat literally anything even in his own universe until we make up some other thing the enemy has that stops him" at least in god of war kratos power is actually power and not just the newest thing that can destroy everything. TLDR the concepts of what kratos does are consistent with the world he lives in, marvel is just infinite writing to infinitely create infinitely new infinities to destroy all of beyond infinity(because marvel writers decided more infinite than infinite was a thing???)
I still think Thor got downplayed. The universal feats Thor has done are not actual universal as the universes are infinite in size and even then the characters that have stated this are beings whose own concept of inifinity is greater than ours and Thor had done this very casually and even then some feats stated that those same universes contain pocket universes and so on. And these are just casual universal feats as he scales to characters that have taken out pantheons on their own right including other sky fathers. Hell! He even fought against Zeus for a couple months and stalemated him while characters like Hulk have straight up gotten bodied by them. And this is just the bare bones cosmology and universal feats as Thor himself has conceptual scaling similar to Gods in DC like Darkseid which is consistent as they’re both created by the same guy and both use similar concepts and what not. Also Thor has passive resistances against the type of hac Kratos has as you mentioned that Kratos will grown stronger through time while fighting Thor and that’s just not the case as Thor has resistance to power and energy absorption from sky father level characters and even soul hax resistances. This is why characters like silver surfer can de-power Hulk but not Thor and thor himself also has these abilities. Also, Thor doesn’t need to focus the god blast to erase concepts as it just does that casually. Even his base lightning is said to be conceptual.
Kratos downplayed aswell. He has immesurable speed feats even without that Yggdrasil travel feat. And the Blade of Olympus is ab ultimate power absorption weapon that rules over reality, it could harm Thor regardless whether hes in base form or not.
Thor feats from 616: - Lifted the midgard serpent WHILE it was constricting. It wraps around the Earth twice and had to have at least enough force to completely crush it - Drove back GLORY a being that had the power of 10,000 gods and the worlds those gods inhabited. Thor even made a “quantum tsunami” that tore reality. (Note the author stated that Glory was stronger than the entire Norse pantheon combined, including Odin) - Outpaced both Silver Surfer and Mjolnir several times, both of which have feats that are Quadrillion to Quintillions of times the speed of light - Using a thermoforce blast: one-shots Ego who has power rivaling a fully fed Galactus. This blast even shook the universe and damaged Ego’s bio verse A single bolt of his lightning hurt and stunned Amatsu-Mikaboshi who has wiped out 98.76% of the multiverse - Massively weakened Thor reverses the wheel of the world engine which is being bolstered by the power of the Yggdrasil itself. This is like moving all 9 realms, and the magic that flows through them. If you don't consider magical energy to have weight, that is still pushing a machine, 9 universes, and the bodies that surround them all while weakened, as they are essentially being thrown in his face. Due to the warping of the World Engine, in order to reverse the wheel, Thor had to fight against the active intent of both the Engine and Yggdrasil itself. -It’s possible he actually resisted infinite realms, but not explicitly stated as the engine was only going to end the 9, though this wasn’t a stated limit. I personally say only 9 since the point of the wheel was to speed up the Ragnarok cycle, and the will of the Yggdrasil implies it was a mental or spiritual attack. If the former, that is a feat greater than beings such as White Phoenix in terms of mental power. If the latter, this would make the most sense as Thor's soul represents the fullest reach of his power at any given time, his life force at its fullest. - Greatly injured Majeston Zélia who absorbed the power of Odin and every single dark god - Thor tanked the explosion from the Unbinding Stone from point blank range, a multiversal weapon capable of obliterating all of creation - Hela must only touch Thor to take his soul (due to hailing from the same pantheon), but can’t because of his speed. She actually cowers stating: "His speed, his anger, are beyond comprehension!" - Withstood an attack from Surtur 1000x hotter than the sun. He also fought for a long time in Surtur's eternal flames which are the fires of creation, they can even tear apart the Yggdrasil which holds an infinite multiverse. As well, bloodlusted Thor can create an attack which was stated to be able to kill Surtur - Thor resists Ghost Rider’s Hellfire Knull, The King of the Klyntarians called Thor the most powerful being he’s ever fought despite Knull killing a celestial - Thor survived being point blank with the godbomb detonation. The godbomb was made from the essence of countless gods and goddesses and is able to destroy all of divinity. This means it is able to kill all gods (even the council of godheads- This group contains equals as Odin, Zeus, Vishnu, etc. More on Vishnu later), destroy all divine objects, and shatter sacred lands. He did eventually die to his wounds, but mind you that he had already been in long-drawn out fights and took the shock of smashing 2 Mjolnir's together. - One-shot Abomination (Hulk level) - The eternal Ikaris has torn apart celestial armor with his bare hands but admitted to Thor being stronger - While enraged, he manhandled Adam Warlock and Silver Surfer simultaneously with no show of fatigue, both being saved by Surfer‘s board - Against mortals, he barely uses 1/3 of his regular power. This is not for fear of losing the battle, as he will hold back this much against a mortal of any level, but rather for fear of accidentally killing them with his godly might. This could potentially mean that any feat he shows against mortals can be multiplied by 3 for a baseline
- Effortlessly snapped adamantium cables Carves uru with his hands to make a hammer. Thor crushes uru, the same metal his hammer is made of, effortlessly - While extremely weakened from 17 days of torture, he broke Gorr’s chains which had held thousands of gods, including one who “wrestled black holes for fun” - Chains that held Vidar Odinson in place “yield like straw” to Thor’s own strength. The same Vidar who in that same story “shook Asgard to the rafters” with one blow from his staff - Has fought beings for centuries at a time - Gladiator admitted Thor was too strong for him. And at that time Eric Masterson was Thor, who was weaker than Odinson. Gladiator has been inside stars, crushed moons with his fists, and torn apart black holes all casually - Threw a planet into a black hole. The godbomb, which was the size of a moon, was a dot compared to the planet thrown - Knocks out/accidentally kills Namor with one blow while holding back in the rain - Knocked out the Phoenix force for a short time with 1 hammer throw (he was also not exactly fresh, as he was not only distracted by the rest of the god squad being knocked out but also hit directly by the Phoenix force). Even more impressive it had to consume an entire planet in order to regain its power - Took on Ultron, Kang, Doc Ock, Titania, The Wrecker, and Absorbing Man. He 1-shots Titania and is fending off the rest without much trouble Took on Maxam (Hercules/Hulk level), Drax the Destroyer with the power stone (without it he is classic hulk level and easily able to stars, let alone with it), Moondragon with the mind stone, Gamora and Pip the Troll. He hit Drax hard enough that he literally pukes the Power Gem out. Thor even mocked the blows of Maxam and Drax, and casually swatted them away - Fights with Zeus for months without stopping (Zeus is Odin's equal but never goes through a decline due to age) - Defeated Surtur and Ymir, 2 skyfathers who have both contended with/defeated Odin. The battle even destroyed the fabric of the universe as a mere side effect - Equaled classic Hulk in strength for an hour with no showing of fatigue when they stopped. Hulk was growing in strength the entire time - Can absorb energy and redirect it 100 times more powerful, even from beings like Galactus - Was one of 4 who provided power to join the entire marvel multiverse, Thor being the strongest person present (Beta Ray Bill, and 2 weaker Thor’s being the others) - Easily removed the unstoppable juggernaut’s force field - Fought and beat Fenris, Hyrm the giant, and Ulik the Troll, who were all also supported by the pilot of Naglfar, with each of them possessing a hammer equal to Mjolnir. Thor one-shots the group pretty much while sacrificing Mjolnir in the process - Wrestled the living incarnation of the Odinforce - Cracked Exitar’s dome and staggered him. This is incredibly impressive since Odin, Zeus and Vishnu combined their full powers and launched it in a single blast at Arishem who wasn’t even tickled. Arishem is far inferior to Exitar - Stuns chaos war Hercules with a single lightning bolt. This Hercules was able to keep up with, and gain the consistent upper hand against the council of godheads including the leaders Odin, Zeus, and Vishnu with relative ease - Knocked over Galactus with a physical strike after/while fighting Silver Surfer, moving faster than Surfer could react - While using his belt of strength (2x strength) beats Mangog and Thanos back to back - Held up Asgard with the help of Beta Ray Bill. This is impressive because Asgard was FALLING at the command of Thor to crush a god-killing Super Skrull who was wielding Stormbreaker. The Super Skrull was sent to kill them after they had already fought wave after wave of Skrull. The Super Skrull was crushed but the weakened Thor and Bill would not fall - Held the weight of 20 planets (being forced unto him) with 1 arm - Tanks celestial blasts - Super Sight allows him to see to “the edge of the solar system” and Super Hearing allows him to “hear cries from the other side of the world” - Resisted mind attacks from Loki, Jean Grey, Charles Xavier (but he did eventually succumb), and Glory (10,000 gods in 1) - Battled with Frost Giants for 9 months - 2 weaker versions of Thor, Dargo Ktor and Eric Masterson, were able to shake every single plane of reality and the entire infinite multiverse with a single collision - Kills Demorgoge, who is an eternity level being, by shattering his soul - Hits Gorr so hard it created shockwaves that destroyed nearby moons and planets as a side effect (what also makes this utterly insane is that there is no air in space) - Caught Silver Surfer Mid-flight with his physical attacks alone (not a mjolnir hammer throw) - Dented Surfer’s chrome dome with a headbutt. It’s notable that for the past few weeks, Thor had been dying from a wound, via the Heart of Yggdrasil, which according to Loki would prove fatal soon - Thor tanks the weight equal to that of a neutron star - Thor one-shots the Minotaur, a being with the strength of the Hulk - Thor knocked Thing’s jaw and arm off, something not even World War Hulk could do (the name of the comic was called "World Breaker" but he actually wasn't in his WBH form yet based on both appearance and what most Hulk historians have to say on the matter) - Laughed at Storm’s attempts to hurt him, and shrugged off a Stormcaster empowered Storm to reason with her after knocking her away with a single blow earlier - Knocked out The Sentry with a single strike after being bull-rushed by him - Caved in Death-Seed Sentry’s head with a single blow - Fought on par with a bloodlusted Odin who was amped by destroyer armor and Odinsword. Not only did they split the heavens in half, but Thor also tanked an attack from the Odinsword which broke mjolnir. - Had a soul so pure and powerful Mephisto refused to attack it and was completely overwhelmed despite Mephisto being in his own dimension where he is most powerful. (For reference, Mephisto on in his own realm was beating a fully fed Galactus before Galactus switched tactics and started absorbing/eating the realm) - Spiritually overpowered Loki who toyed with Classic Dr Strange
This is just Odinforce Thor. Plus add in all the feats you mentioned. Odinforce added in? He should stomp any version of Kratos. Exitar alone would prove that. Let alone King Thor. Also Herald of Thunder/Cosmic King doesn’t draw his power from Galactus truly, since the power cosmic became his own. He even took all of Galactus’ power cosmic from him. Also King Phoenix is another cool mention since he (while not at peak condition) beat End of Time Doom who, by his own admission, would be stronger than God Emperor Doom (power of all the Beyonders and Ivory Kings).
That beyond the speed of light feat for Kratos was kinda bad. There is a better one. Each Valkyrie he fought was said to travel between realms in an instant, some of witch are said to be nearly infinite. So yeah there’s your speed feat for Kratos.
And hermes the annoying god in god of war 3 delivers dreams to ever person and has infinite speed who kratos keep up with and the servants you fight in God of war 2 3 are causal light speed but kratos no diff them
even beter than that, the sisters of fates a known to have infinity speed, which he killed, so technically he's faster that twice the infinity of speed
If Bruno said Zeus should stomp Thor (which isn't wrong) kratos is already stronger than Thor Gow 4 kratos isn't weaker just doesn't need to go all out
Funny how people really believe Kratos would beat Thor in the marvel comics which is obviously more powerful than the one in gow. He literally fights beings from the likes of Hercules, Hulk, Thanos, Sentry, Zeus, etc and can hang with the best of them. Smh this is ridiculous.
No version of Kratos even comes close to comic Thor. This is why using mathematics and science on different fictional universes is a waste of time. Comic Thor can destroy planets and put up a fight against multiple abstracts like Galactus and celestials. Kratos got impaled by a 2 x 4.
I really think if older Kratos goes full rage and is blinded by anger only that he is capable of slaughter Thor and destroy the whole Norse Pantheon in less than an hour
@@oxcencengenga195 there's alot of comic book versions of thor, i think forms that are above and stronger than cosmic thor will clap kratos but bellow that kratos stomps every form.
Whoever wins, I think it would be close and might come down to hax and weaponry. And if we give Kratos all of his even if Thor is slightly faster or stronger I feel his magical equipment would overcome Thor's. Thor DOES get outside power ups here or there that puts him above Kratos in general but base to base I feel Kratos takes it high difficulty. Good video though, love your GoW content.
@@markcastellanet9672 both characters scale in range from above planetary to universal/concept level depending on how deep of lore and feats you get into for either.
I'd say this fight could go either way. It would depend on how far each character would be willing to go to end the fight. Both characters has an arsenal of OP abilities, are physically strong enough to move planets and tank planetary to universal attacks.
@@بشرى-ث8ذ3ش no he isn't. Thor fights people like silver surfer who moves way faster than the speed of light. There is precious little kratos could do to Thor and a lot Thor could do to kratos.
Happy holidays, kings
A few comments to go over briefly, I don't check comments often:
Q.

@@WayneTwitch Not at all, know the characters power level before you say shit like that because Hercules is at least High Universe Level.
Tier: At least High 3-A, likely Low 2-C to 2-C
Name: Hercules
Origin: God of War
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown
Classification: Demigod, Son of Zeus, Greek Hero
Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Air Manipulation (Can create shockwaves with his sheer strength), Resistance to Earthly Diseases and some forms of Magic
Attack Potency: At least High Universe level, likely Universe level+ to Low Multiverse level (Rivals the mightiest of the gods and titans in strength. Matched God of War 3 Kratos. Was implied to have temporarily replaced Atlas in holding up the heavens so the latter could retrieve the Apples of Hera)
Speed: Infinite (Can react to Helios's light, who's able to illuminate the entire underworld with his light, which is stated in numerous sources to be infinite in size)
Lifting Strength: At least Infinite (As in the original myths, Hercules held up the infinite universe so Atlas could retrieve the apples of Hera. He was also able to match Kratos in push and pull, and threw him hard enough to temporarily knock him out) likely Immeasurable (The Greek Reality in God of War was shown to contain numerous universe-sized dimensions bordering the main universe, such as Thanatos's Domain of Death, which predates even the Titans themselves, Nyx’s parallel dimension of eternal night, and Morpheus's Dream Realm, which had its own flow of time)
Striking Strength: At least High Universal, likely Universal+ to Low Multiversal (His attacks were making Kratos bleed and visibly exert effort)
Durability: At least High Universe level, likely Universe level+ to Low Multiverse level (Resisted a countless amount of direct physical attacks from Kratos throughout their fight, and even while completely trapped and helpless, it took nearly 20 blows with the Nemean Cestus to finish him off)
Nigh-Invulnerability: Hercules, like most demigods and Gods, is invulnerable to a certain extent.
Standard Equipment: The Nemean cestus
Intelligence: Lots of battle experience from completeting his 12 tasks which included but not limited to:
Slaying the Nemean Lion and bring back its skin, which was invincible against attacks.
Slay the 9-headed Hydra in the swamps of Lerna.
And Capture Cerberus, the three-headed dog guardian of the Underworld, alive and bring him back.

Was waiting for the mention of Cosmic King Thor 😂 Love you Kratos, but RIP.
Kratos is not a God tho.

@@jjohnson6382 Cory Stated in a 102 Question Interview, that Kratos is a Full God and that he's Immortal.
For me old kratos is stronger but younger kratos is more dangerous.
But again that's why this thing is so complicated if one wants to go by the director and novels, we have to ignore the contradictions 😂😂
The real question is how much destruction would god Kratos + PoH cause?
@@carrot7215 yes Kratos is powerful even without weapons that doesn't mean the weapon's don't amp him though.
Each weapon is also relative to the God that was originally using it so these weapons are insanely powerful.
At the very least the weapons would give him a ton of Hax which also makes him powerful in a sense. This also shows in the Gameplay GOW4 Kratos clearly does more damage to his opponent but his more limited arsenal makes his opponent just as hard to kill as they were in the previous games

The same can be said for thor

There's honestly no way to properly scale this fight because comics are highly inconsistent in terms of power level. It's whatever the writer wants it to be. Sometimes Thor can even be hurt by bullets, and other times, he can destroy planets with one swing of his hammer. Thor's power scaling is equivalent to rolling a dice in a D&D game.
Like how kratos can be hurt by humans in gameplay and we almost never see anything I've mountain level happening
@@weafy6007 that’s why we say Lore Kratos, because why would we use gameplay Kratos? @@thekidnasa1126 this is also true.
Baseline Thor has shown consistent infinite/trans infinite multiverse feats, with the occasional outlier low outerversal feats. Things like
-killing demogorge, an actual eternity level being that was the Marvel concept of eternity that eats other gods as sustenance (clarified by the writer as he specifies that demogorge was meant to be the Marvel multiverse’s incarnation of the concept of eternity)
- Thor one shoted King Amatsu, who at the time was able to destroy almost 99% of the trans infinite Marvel Multiverse with his power
-Gorr the god butcher states that Thor is the strongest bring he has ever faced up until that point, and he’d actually killed a celestial himself
- Thor has knocked out the Sentry with just one strike after getting bum rushed by him
-Thor knocked over and severally wounded a mid-fed Galactus, shattering his helmet and making him scream from the pain. This is during Thor’s continuing fight with The Silver Surfer, who he blitzes past to do this
-Thor tanks a hit from the unbinding stone, which if he didn’t would have destroyed the trans infinite multiverse
And these are just a handful of crazy things.

And that verse is having some new extremely powerful entities entering it or on the way such as Saint Alagadda, Sefiros and Qlippoth, and SCP-7709.
sorry, theres no infinite outerversal hierarchy in dies irae or anything affiliated to that. There's not even anything suggesting outerversal.

Can't wait to see who comes out on top in the game!

For those on the side of kratos>base Thor, Thor has other feats that could be used to make a base Thor>kratos argument.
1.Phoenix force scaling
Thor knocks out the Phoenix force.
You could also find some base Thor feats of him hurting
galactus.I heavily doubt kratos can contend with other versions like old king, rune king, cosmic king, or pheonix king Thor.

Some of us prefer the interpetation that he is weaker cause thats more interesting and has bigger stakes and danger.
There is actually waay more evidence that he is weaker
Well it's about time someone does this
So if Kratos has the Blade, we assume it works on Thor, we let him scale to the other Gods stamina (which makes no sense cause you can only scale him to their physical stats.

Kratos survived so many things and... I cant imagine Kratos lose to a Hammer such as Thor's

@@vlad_47 no. Thor has negged worse shit than that. He also has those type of haxes too so Idk what you’re on about.
Thor feats from 616:
- Lifted the midgard serpent WHILE it was constricting. It wraps around the Earth twice and had to have at least enough force to completely crush it
- Drove back GLORY a being that had the power of 10,000 gods and the worlds those gods inhabited. Thor even made a “quantum tsunami” that tore reality. (Note the author stated that Glory was stronger than the entire Norse pantheon combined, including Odin)
- Outpaced both Silver Surfer and Mjolnir several times, both of which have feats that are Quadrillion to Quintillions of times the speed of light
- Using a thermoforce blast: one-shots Ego who has power rivaling a fully fed Galactus. This blast even shook the universe and damaged Ego’s bio verse
A single bolt of his lightning hurt and stunned Amatsu-Mikaboshi who has wiped out 98.76% of the multiverse
- Massively weakened Thor reverses the wheel of the world engine which is being bolstered by the power of the Yggdrasil itself.
- Greatly injured Majeston Zélia who absorbed the power of Odin and every single dark god
- Thor tanked the explosion from the Unbinding Stone from point blank range, a multiversal weapon capable of obliterating all of creation
- Hela must only touch Thor to take his soul (due to hailing from the same pantheon), but can’t because of his speed. She actually cowers stating: "His speed, his anger, are beyond comprehension!"
- Withstood an attack from Surtur 1000x hotter than the sun. He also fought for a long time in Surtur's eternal flames which are the fires of creation, they can even tear apart the Yggdrasil which holds an infinite multiverse. As well, bloodlusted Thor can create an attack which was stated to be able to kill Surtur
- Thor resists Ghost Rider’s Hellfire
Knull, The King of the Klyntarians called Thor the most powerful being he’s ever fought despite Knull killing a celestial
- Thor survived being point blank with the godbomb detonation.
- One-shot Abomination (Hulk level)
- The eternal Ikaris has torn apart celestial armor with his bare hands but admitted to Thor being stronger
- While enraged, he manhandled Adam Warlock and Silver Surfer simultaneously with no show of fatigue, both being saved by Surfer‘s board
- Against mortals, he barely uses 1/3 of his regular power. This is not for fear of losing the battle, as he will hold back this much against a mortal of any level, but rather for fear of accidentally killing them with his godly might. This could potentially mean that any feat he shows against mortals can be multiplied by 3 for a baseline
- Effortlessly snapped adamantium cables
Carves uru with his hands to make a hammer. Thor crushes uru, the same metal his hammer is made of, effortlessly
- While extremely weakened from 17 days of torture, he broke Gorr’s chains which had held thousands of gods, including one who “wrestled black holes for fun”
- Chains that held Vidar Odinson in place “yield like straw” to Thor’s own strength. The same Vidar who in that same story “shook Asgard to the rafters” with one blow from his staff
- Has fought beings for centuries at a time
- Gladiator admitted Thor was too strong for him. And at that time Eric Masterson was Thor, who was weaker than Odinson. Gladiator has been inside stars, crushed moons with his fists, and torn apart black holes all casually
- Threw a planet into a black hole. The godbomb, which was the size of a moon, was a dot compared to the planet thrown
- Knocks out/accidentally kills Namor with one blow while holding back in the rain
- Knocked out the Phoenix force for a short time with 1 hammer throw (he was also not exactly fresh, as he was not only distracted by the rest of the god squad being knocked out but also hit directly by the Phoenix force). Even more impressive it had to consume an entire planet in order to regain its power
- Took on Ultron, Kang, Doc Ock, Titania, The Wrecker, and Absorbing Man. He 1-shots Titania and is fending off the rest without much trouble
Took on Maxam (Hercules/Hulk level), Drax the Destroyer with the power stone (without it he is classic hulk level and easily able to stars, let alone with it), Moondragon with the mind stone, Gamora and Pip the Troll. He hit Drax hard enough that he literally pukes the Power Gem out. Thor even mocked the blows of Maxam and Drax, and casually swatted them away
- Fights with Zeus for months without stopping (Zeus is Odin's equal but never goes through a decline due to age)
- Defeated Surtur and Ymir, 2 skyfathers who have both contended with/defeated Odin. The battle even destroyed the fabric of the universe as a mere side effect
- Equaled classic Hulk in strength for an hour with no showing of fatigue when they stopped. Hulk was growing in strength the entire time
- Can absorb energy and redirect it 100 times more powerful, even from beings like Galactus
- Was one of 4 who provided power to join the entire marvel multiverse, Thor being the strongest person present (Beta Ray Bill, and 2 weaker Thor’s being the others)
- Easily removed the unstoppable juggernaut’s force field
- Fought and beat Fenris, Hyrm the giant, and Ulik the Troll, who were all also supported by the pilot of Naglfar, with each of them possessing a hammer equal to Mjolnir. Thor one-shots the group pretty much while sacrificing Mjolnir in the process
- Wrestled the living incarnation of the Odinforce
- Cracked Exitar’s dome and staggered him. This is incredibly impressive since Odin, Zeus and Vishnu combined their full powers and launched it in a single blast at Arishem who wasn’t even tickled. Arishem is far inferior to Exitar
- Stuns chaos war Hercules with a single lightning bolt. This Hercules was able to keep up with, and gain the consistent upper hand against the council of godheads including the leaders Odin, Zeus, and Vishnu with relative ease
- Knocked over Galactus with a physical strike after/while fighting Silver Surfer, moving faster than Surfer could react
- While using his belt of strength (2x strength) beats Mangog and Thanos back to back
- Held up Asgard with the help of Beta Ray Bill. This is impressive because Asgard was FALLING at the command of Thor to crush a god-killing Super Skrull who was wielding Stormbreaker. The Super Skrull was sent to kill them after they had already fought wave after wave of Skrull. The Super Skrull was crushed but the weakened Thor and Bill would not fall
- Held the weight of 20 planets (being forced unto him) with 1 arm
- Tanks celestial blasts
- Super Sight allows him to see to “the edge of the solar system” and Super Hearing allows him to “hear cries from the other side of the world”
- Resisted mind attacks from Loki, Jean Grey, Charles Xavier (but he did eventually succumb), and Glory (10,000 gods in 1)
- Battled with Frost Giants for 9 months
- 2 weaker versions of Thor, Dargo Ktor and Eric Masterson, were able to shake every single plane of reality and the entire infinite multiverse with a single collision
- Kills Demorgoge, who is an eternity level being, by shattering his soul
- Hits Gorr so hard it created shockwaves that destroyed nearby moons and planets as a side effect (what also makes this utterly insane is that there is no air in space)
- Caught Silver Surfer Mid-flight with his physical attacks alone (not a mjolnir hammer throw)
- Dented Surfer’s chrome dome with a headbutt. It’s notable that for the past few weeks, Thor had been dying from a wound, via the Heart of Yggdrasil, which according to Loki would prove fatal soon
- Thor tanks the weight equal to that of a neutron star
- Thor one-shots the Minotaur, a being with the strength of the Hulk
- Thor knocked Thing’s jaw and arm off, something not even World War Hulk could do (the name of the comic was called "World Breaker" but he actually wasn't in his WBH form yet based on both appearance and what most Hulk historians have to say on the matter)
- Laughed at Storm’s attempts to hurt him, and shrugged off a Stormcaster empowered Storm to reason with her after knocking her away with a single blow earlier
- Knocked out The Sentry with a single strike after being bull-rushed by him
- Caved in Death-Seed Sentry’s head with a single blow
- Fought on par with a bloodlusted Odin who was amped by destroyer armor and Odinsword. Not only did they split the heavens in half, but Thor also tanked an attack from the Odinsword which broke mjolnir.
- Had a soul so pure and powerful Mephisto refused to attack it and was completely overwhelmed despite Mephisto being in his own dimension where he is most powerful. (For reference, Mephisto on in his own realm was beating a fully fed Galactus before Galactus switched tactics and started absorbing/eating the realm)
- Spiritually overpowered Loki who toyed with Classic Dr Strange
