You could've also smoothed it by right clicking, hit smooth surface then add a subsurface subdivision. Rather than subdividing a bunch then smoothing manually
Hi, thanks for your comment! You are right and I generally do that, however sometimes I find smoothing it out in sculpting adds perfect imperfections and also can be quite fun and satisfying.
Thank you! For the lighting, nothing fancy. Just a spot light aimed at the bear cranked up. Make sure you enable shadow caustics for the light, and also for the bear (object properties panel > caustics > cast shadow caustics) and the plane (object properties panel > caustics > receive shadow caustics). Default settings for the world shader. Hope this helps!
