I have the same model, I unseized the engine a couple of days ago. The engine runs a bit hot and the CVT needs to be fixed up a bit (max 20KM/h at full throttle)
I bad a two stoke then bought a new one without a test drive. Motor sounded good. Got it home took it out for the First time . This thing has a lot less power. Got to looking it's a Four stroke water cooled motor . It runs fine but I don't think it will clime hills like The two stroke . I want My old bike back even though it had 45000 miles on it .
@@elizabethmcheffey8699 No that is a lie you can literally buy a big bore kit that comes with literally everything for the Yamaha for 500 bucks or 600 and it will go about 50 or 60 but it depends on your weight as well
@@elizabethmcheffey8699 literally $1000 your bike and go much faster than that if you buy a final gear drive which only gonna cost $100 for this bike crank shaft and etc. etc. that will go at least 90 or 80 or probably faster depending on your weight
Yamaha Zuma 2 stroke is the best 50cc scooter I think the genuine scooter company 2 stroke '50s are pretty close... Only thing with the two-stroke scooters is that your jeans will smell like to stroke smoke at the end of a long ride 😂.. advantages here in Connecticut 50 cc is considered a motorized bicycle.. no registration.. no insurance... No motorcycle endorsement on your license required.. also no annual vehicle taxes... I put a non-catalytic scooter works exhaust on My BUDDY 50 .. no rejetting.. mine does 45 on the speedometer which is 40 mph on GPS level ground.. of course faster downhill...
Just finished a Zuma. 72cc ncy kit, 15/50 gears. Smooth quick and cruises at 48. Max speed well over 50
I have a 2 stroke Zuma with 13thousand miles it 😂 rides great starts first crank I’d highly recommend Yamaha zuma 👍
2004
My big eye Zuma has 20k (19,9xx) but it JUST popped finally…
word lol I got the 09 Zuma 2 smoke, it always starts first try. Get 140km on a single $5.00 fill up HAHAaaa
I just got Zuma that was not run past 3 years. Cleaning the gas tank and waiting for new petcock. Looking forward for upgrades!
How’s the build coming along?

2 strokes not only perform a lot better, sound a lot better, but they have NO VALVES to constantly check and adjust.
they also blow up way quicker
How’s that?
got a 2t 2005 zuma 23k miles goes 60mph its great

@jimmerzfilms you should look into this thing.... 3.2 HP on this little monster!
That is exactly the same has my scooter
so what is the upgrade to make it go 65 mph...
The biggest component is a 70cc big bore kit. But cvt/exhaust/carb are also needed
1000$

@@elizabethmcheffey8699 I know I just bought the same exact bike for $900 and it’s a 2009 and I built up a Taotao scooter to the max
