      @ddaniel1057 And I love the way these grandmothers stand patiently in line for their turn for grocery selection, and once their turn, how they show great restraint in slowly picking and choosing some food gifts, but leaving plenty for others queuing behind them. It shows great dignity and the remarkably good manners of poor people, considering they are probably very hungry and these food items are like special treats. In many other countries e.g. China, there would be pushing and shoving to grab any free gifts, as many as possible, and every woman for herself. These Russian grannies are impressive people!

These people are good and never complain even when they have nothing. You are a wonderful man with a heart as big as the world. God Bless you and your family.

      @@laceyjade2472sadly it seems this is happening all over the world. We have so many homeless in my area. I buy them coffee or give them some money for food. I have a very bad back but I keep working and saving because my pension will be so low it will not hardly pay for food for myself. My brothers are all retired and ask me when I will retire? I love these videos, they are very uplifting. It's a shame that more people don't understand the joy that is received from helping others and "giving". It doesn't always have to be money that is being given, although that seems to be the most appreciated, lol. Giving time, resources and sometimes just spending time with a lonely person is "giving".
    It might be helpful for the elderly ladies if they started using backpacks, instead of carrying shopping bags in their hands. The back packs that are easy to slide on and off and that would make it easier for them to bring their groceries, or anything else, back and forth from their homes. As always, great job Sergei, oh yes, and Dima too, you guys are fantastic!!

    • @cattymajiv
      @cattymajiv 11 месяцев назад +2

      I'm an old lady with no car, so I always use a backpack. I also use a wire shopping cart if I have a big load, but the backpack is by far the most useful thing! A load that would feel like it's pulling both my arms off after 4 blocks feels like nothing at all when it's on my back. I completely forget that it's there while I'm walking!
      I used to carry around 40 pounds, but I can't carry that much anymore, not for any distance. I don't weigh much more than 100 pounds myself. If I were forced to give up my backpack, I'd be making myself another one out of scraps if I had to. There is nothing in my whole home that I find more helpful or value more, except perhaps my washing machine. Seriously, a backpack is worth it's weight in gold! Even a makeshift one, without pockets or zippers, would be such a help to anyone!
      Sergei should give one to each one of these ladies, in every town. But I don't know if he reads these comments, because he has 2 big RUclips channels, and 2 Instagrams, as well as a job, a family with 2 kids, and a fitness routine, on top of his time consuming volunteer work.
      I'd love to get your great suggestion to him! I guess we can just keep posting it here on all the videos, and at his Instagram, where it might be more easily seen. I will try to do so regularly. Thank you for the fantastic suggestion! ❤

    Dear Sergei, many thanks for helping these pensioners, in yet another village lacking in amenities. By amenities I mean a store, post office or any type of health care. I’m a pensioner in US, and I can’t imagine being able to live on what they receive. It’s very sad to see and understand the reason for few, to no men around. The joy you bring to them in just paying for their groceries and talking with them is so heartwarming. I enjoy seeing these stories, but I also understand that the realities must be presented as well, such as your visit with Tanya and her sister. Please keep yourself and your team safe. I’m sure that as you become better known for helping that there are some people that might cause you harm. Aside from this, your English has become so much better! Thank you, dear Sergei, and keep safe…🙏🏻🫶🏻xx
