Met my wife over the internet. We corresponded for a year and then I went to visit her in Russia (Kolpino, Leningrad Oblast). After a week, I proposed and she accepted. @@A-Aron118 there is a certain extent to which women in the US are just less desirable. Obviously it's a spectrum, but there is very much a double standard culture for a lot of things with regard to women in America. Even saying that is offensive to a lot of people even though it's thoroughly obvious. And yeah, it's difficult to put up with the BS. I did go find a good wife here in the states, but it wasn't easy.

These young women seem very sensible and practical, without being mercenary. If they are typical of the young women of Russia, the country has a bright future.
As a Canadian guy, I love how direct Russian women are, they tell it like it is. No nonsense, no mind games. The world is f#@ked up enough and the people we let into our hearts should be our shelter from the storm of the outside world.

as a Canadian who spent the better part of 3 months traveling around Russia with pretty limited Russian speaking skills, people simply want to meet new people from abroad, sure there are those who want to marry and leave but many just want to interact, make friends and improve there own English. i had this experience in Krasnoyarsk where a young couple running a coffee van invited me into there van with free coffee to meet me and improve their English while of course exchanging cultural differences. love the trip, would love to go back soon.

There is a common trend in the U.S. where married women are leaving their husbands. My wife got pregnant from another man while we were married. She left me and our 12yr old son and had the baby with the other guy. Now she's with a totally different guy. I raised my son, homeschooled him, sent him to college, now we work together and are building his first house. I ended up finding who I thought was my true love while my son was in college. We married and had some good years, but she ended up leaving as well, after I supported her to get her bachelor's and master's degree. Women approach me often to date me, but now I wonder what they hope to get out of me. I don't think they're intentions are really to go through life together, but rather what they can get out of a man before going to the next man. I want to share life with someone special, but it's hard to trust anymore. I just focus on sharing life with my son and my brother, sister, and father. Hopefully I could find someone, but I don't know how to believe a woman's true intentions anymore.
Really a sad story 😢. Indian culture is believed to repeat american culture . Amazing interviews with highly intelligent, well spoken and attractive young women. They seem to be so rational, level headed and knowledgeable. Straight to the point, no crap and in a country where women outnumber men, consider all nationalities.
My heartfelt appreciation of this Russian Lady with her dating/soulmate principle that is, "Personally, I don't care about .nationality. I care MORE about PERSONALITY and whether we are suitable for each other or not". Wishing you lady be successful for your life partner choice. God always be with you.
Yes, maybe they say so. But fathers won't be that happy to see a foreigner as a husband of her daughter. Actually, all of them think about money. Easy. If you're rich, you have no problem with race.
I had a Russian partner and it was a great relationship while it lasted. She was completely different to western / westernized women and for me that was incredibly appealing and attractive. Unfortunately, it didn't work out for us, but I still cherish the time we had together.
Nobody mentioned the problem with leaving their family and friends. I think that would be very hard for most people marrying someone from overseas and then going to live with them.
Because she didn't asked the question. She just asked if they would like to date them, not move to their country. Dating someone doesn't mean you are going to relocate. It could very well mean foreigners who are living in Russia themselves.
Let me help you. They really dont care much about leaving their firends because they say they can find new friends. But they will stay in touch with female friends but rarely a male friend, so you never need to worry about them going back to old boyfriend etc. Next, family. Yes it is hard for them to leave parents only for the most part, but they always say they will visit someday, so they do not think of it as they are in another country, but as though they are much closer. And this is from personal experiance with 4 different ladies I have brought to US to start new life here, but only one was for myself, 11 years ago.
The biggest issue most Russian women that want to find a Western guy is that they do not speak English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, etc. Yes, there is such a device as a translator that we can use on our computers and I-phones, but translators do not really convey the spiritual content that needs to be conveyed in any romantic relationship.
Extraordinary interviews ! It is so heartwarming to hear about desirable qualities the beautiful people of Russia have for a future loved one in their life.
Her demographics are interviewed on popular tourist hangouts. Go farther and see opinions sway. Ukrainian gals are just as pretty , and they will jump ship given a chance. Either way, Russian boys are up on bragging , Russian gals play mind games.
@Into the sunset so far you sound like the one who's bitter writing that under every comment :) Sounds like you one of those that this man was talking about :) 11:45
We had a Russian exchange student for 10 months who came back to America 3 years later after her American high school year and fell in love with an American man her age. Happy to say they are happily married for 15 years with two beautiful daughters and all live in Texas.
Yes, Russian people are great, it is a pity so many of their men become alcoholics. And Russian nationalism has become a problem again, under Putin, who presents well, but is a murderous Mafia Don. If they would only get out of Eastern Ukraine, the sanctions could be dropped and we could all be "friends" again. They can keep the Crimea. 🙂
You are probably of the same blood because your family moved to the Eastern Ukraine in the 30s, to replace the millions that Stalin starved to death by shipping nearly all their farm produce to Moscow, for years. Ukraine is a sovereign nation, if you don't like it, move to Russia. They do not threaten Russia, that is all Putin propaganda/spin for a chance to invade. 🙂
In the 90s I spent six years working in Kazakhstan in the Telco sector. I found the best educated and motivated people I could have hoped for. It was a wonderful experience and would do it again without hesitation.
If I can say something as an old guy, what applies to a wife is what applies to friends. Personal integrity matters most because marriage is partnership in every way. If you can't trust your partner or friend it won't work. Other things can be learned, we change too in time, we love the differences if we are open to them. Nationality matters but it's not the basic thing. Better to live alone than with the wrong one.
All the ladies interviewed here seen like great people. I hope they all find the love they deserve, and the married lady has a wonderful life with her husband.
The guy at the end seemed very kind-hearted, but he seemed to be simultaneously very strong and sturdy. I appreciate the way everyone expressed themselves, they seem to be well-educated.
Ok young Russians maybe like Romance, but when they are over 35 everything changes. They are finished with romance and only want to know how you will look after them financially. And the Russian women over 40 (which I have met) actually detest men.
"Soulmate." Now that was is a key word mentioned by one of the interviewees. The most important factors in a relationship are character, personality, interests not too wide apart, and similar culture (easier to understand each other) makes life easier. Looks come far down the list for a relationship. A healthy relationship is built on love, not lust. Lust is attraction to looks, and that can lead to love, but it is not love in itself. The tendency in the West of falling in lust is one of the primary causes of the high divorce rate. Love is deeper, soul to soul, and then looks are not so important.
There are people interested only in having children, and such people are disregarding any lust. They just want a stable woman to bear and raise the children. But other people want just lust, beauty and eroticism, they are not interested in making a family. So everyone should follow the path that makes them happy.
In my experience most russian girls would like to practice english and have foreign guys take them to nice places, but they have an easier time making an emotional connection with Russian men and Usually choose to marry them!!! Further more some girls told me their parents simply wouldn't approve or accept it if they want to marry someone who's not russian.
Eli, women across the world have the same values. Trust, honest love, sharing responsibilities. So if you meet a foreigner they would want the same things. I married a Samoan woman and we were married for 31 years and had 4 children, two girls 2 boys. Sadly my lovely wife passed away from cancer in 2006. Now when first married it was two different cultures which we both had to learn to deal with, especially the parents.
I truly agree that love doesn't depend on culture or where you're from. My girlfriend came from the Dominican Republic and moved to The Netherlands with her family because her mother married a Dutch man she met online. Me and my girlfriend love each other even when we are from quite different cultures and countries. Of course we are different but it's no problem. She moved to The Netherlands almost 2 years ago and I met her in March of this year. She can already speak Dutch quite well.
I was ook 20 jaar getrouwd met een nederlander. Ik ben nu opnieuw getrouwd met iemand uit mijn eigen oost europees cultuur. Is veel beter achteraf.
I met lots of Russian men and I can say most of them are good, humble and have good sense of humour. Mostly in the academic sector. I have yet to meet Russian men and women outside of academic. But I assume they are more or less like myself. Talking with Russians is really intriguing as I really love the country and its long history, its beautiful countryside and its diverse culture.
Nationality and race matters to everyone, people who say otherwise are ignorant of their nature. Sometimes two people from different backgrounds can get along well. But it is always an obstacle. Preserving nationality is a way to show gratitude to your own kind.
Yep. Compatibility both culturally and genetically, as well as in terms of personality type, is the most important thing when It comes to long-term relationships. Way more important than the momentary feelings of "love" and lust which are just temporary and will fade eventually, leaving you with a person you no longer feel any kind of passion anymore, who you aren't actually compatible with. So if you want an actual relationship and a functional marriage, for the love of god, marry within your own ethnic group with someone you actually get along with.
@@Sina.g.z Countries with solid borders is what makes the world diverse. If we all mixed with each other, we'd no longer have the features unique to our own ethnicities (genetic clusters) and cultures, now would we?
@@CandidZuluAnd god didn't make a mistake. Mingling with outsiders is an offense against god as well, if you wanna look at it religiously. But it is also an offense against your own genetic interests, if you wanna take a more secular stance. Either way, it is a terrible crime.

For a swede it’s a bit of a stretch, because we also have our own way of joking, discussing, inherited traditions and underlying understanding that doesn’t need to be explained through discussion. Now my wife can barely talk to her relatives and friends from the USA, so do I. They (American side of family) accuse and blame us for everything. Then she began to contradict herself in some cases and i grew distrustful. We tried to talk things out, we broke up and reunited. It wasnt meant to be and we walked our separate ways. My heritage is Russian/Ukrainian. I live in the USA. when I was young I married a Philippine girl, we tried but it did not work out. The cultural barriers were to high and I guess we did not love one another enough to over come them. Even though we were married for five years, we where very careful not to have children. My second and present wife is Ukrainian and we have been very happily married for 32 years now. We have three kids, now in their twenties that look like us. I have several Russian friends. They're pretty and slim, yes, and they're nice people, generous, sociable and family-oriented. Being very involved in their respective families was the thing that surprised me the most about them. More so bec not everyone in California's like that. I thought they would be more detached. I can only say that about my friends. By the way, they're all professionals. Don't know if that's really how Russians are, in general.
I have a Russian wife as well LOL. But my story is entirely different - we both grew up in the same city in Eastern Europe - I was born there, and her parents moved there for work; and we've known each other from childhood. It made a huge difference since we are from very similar cultures, and we speak Russian at home (since my Russian is a lot better than her Lithuanian!). As for some of the comments here, that a lot of thse girls can be gold-diggers who just want citizenship in a Western country - yes that can be very true. You just have to be careful. If she is hot and has a super-outgoing personality, and you're an average-looking introverted guy, it is too obvious she is only interested in your Western passport. Look for a girl that matches your looks, and more importantly, matches your personality. I've seen how quiet mild-mannered girls just go overlooked because they do not draw attention to themselves.
You just popped up on RUclips out of the blue. Love your channel! You are a very good interviewer and excellent on camera. Sending much love and many blessings your way💞
I'm not sure that's true. I think that a lot of Americans have a distrust for the Russian government (mostly because the soviets we're so polar opposite of what America stands for) but I don't think anyone actively thinks actual Russian _people_ are bad. I’ve spent a lot of time in Russia…I know life can be very hard, especially outside of the main cities, but you need to remember that the grass always looks greener on the other side. The so called “culture wars” and “cancel culture” in Western countries is making them much less appealing.
Oh yeah I can't tell which is worse, having to live at 3rd world standards, being abused by your husband and having none to help you because it isn't illegal to hit your wife in Russia, and also living in a literal brutal dictatorship where dissidents are murdered and poisoned all the time. Or "cancel culture"? meaning some people post on Twitter how they didn't like the Netflix special of some millionaire comedian, and being annoyed because there's a gay couple on TV.... Great video and topic Eli. The lady that answered with differences in cultural background and consequently perceptions that might ultimately lead to differences in opinions, in my opinion, gave the best answer. You may like someone from another country on the feeling/emotional level, but it does not necessarily mean that it will automatically translate into mutual understanding and cooperation on the practical day-to-day level. One thing I must say: Russian women are beautiful, very charming, just like Eli herself.
i disagree with u 100% ...it not true what you said and this is not my opinion . language is something to learn lol it doesnt effect the relationship. its about the mentality the more you think this is a foreigner the more it will be not that close and the more theres barriers because of how you make others feel like an outsider and making the "language "thing as an excuse )
Completely disagree with the guy at 12:37 about eliminating nationalism. It’s wonderful seeing citizens taking great pride in their cultures, traditions, cuisines, values, languages, and so on of their nation. Nationalism promotes diversity, and when traveling, it’s fantastic to witness and experience the many different unique and beautiful ways of life of a nation. Don’t know what barriers he’s talking about that cause racism, but it seems like a made up thing to promote a sadistic agenda. Because here in the States, math has been labeled racist. Yes, 1 + 1 = racism in the US according to some deranged anti-barrier individuals. In Wisconsin, a 2 billion year old rock was removed from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, because…it promoted racism. Rocks are now racist in the US. We also have over 90 different stupid genders, and some genders, like gender fluid, change constantly depending upon the time of day. On a Time magazine cover, there’s a male who’s breastfeeding a baby! It’s a horror movie clown world over here in the States. The US is currently experiencing anti-nationalism and because of that, it’s turning into a massive sewer pit…that’s on fire. Save yourself Russia, and don’t let what’s happening over here, happen to you.

Dont believe a word of it.
Nobody mentioned the problem with leaving their family and friends. I think that would be very hard for most people marrying someone from overseas and then going to live with them.
I think we see why now
mostly everyone is alone these days
I was nice to see that most of the ladies really do want true love and companionship. Refreshing to see that. Speaks well of the Russian women!
They want it for some time. Because its easier. If they get pregnant or sth else they have someone by their side. But its temporarly only

Ok young Russians maybe like Romance, but when they are over 35 everything changes. They are finished with romance and only want to know how you will look after them financially. And the Russian women over 40 (which I have met) actually detest men.
You are a very naive foreigner. Just what the Russian gals need :)
I guess that accounts for so many ugly people, discounting natural instinct of attractiveness as a way to curtail the sin of lust
Exactly!
But the truth is that majority of people are unable to understand this 😔
i don't think marxism included things like soulmate in their teachings lol
There are people interested only in having children, and such people are disregarding any lust. They just want a stable woman to bear and raise the children. But other people want just lust, beauty and eroticism, they are not interested in making a family. So everyone should follow the path that makes them happy.
Well stated.
The more I watch and listen to people from Russia the more I truely Love them. ❤️💕🌺

Beautiful! My husband of 7 years is Samoan as well! Such a kind loving culture. So full of life! I would die for him. There’s no human more good.

Nationality and race matters to everyone, people who say otherwise are ignorant of their nature. Sometimes two people from different backgrounds can get along well. But it is always an obstacle. Preserving nationality is a way to show gratitude to your own kind.
I think that you are right. Otherwise, the world would be a much more diverse place rather than countries or continents with solid borders.
@@Sina.g.z Both the Koran and the Bible thinks so too. God created people and nations.

Sending much love and many blessings your way💞
Thanks for your channel. In America, there is such a narrative about " evil Russia". It's good to show how similar we are; just people, after all.
I'm not sure that's true. I think that a lot of Americans have a distrust for the Russian government (mostly because the soviets we're so polar opposite of what America stands for) but I don't think anyone actively thinks actual Russian _people_ are bad.
I think when most Americans see Russian people they just assume they're made of meat and potatoes and only play hockey in their free time.
In reality, Russians are more open minded than most American.
@@rrrajlive That's an impossible generalization. Making any generalizations about 2 groups consisting of half a billion people and _hundreds_ of different ethnicities and cultures, is basically impossible.
@@herranton Do you mean it's difficult to make a society of half a billion people with different ethnicities and culture?
First of all USA population is more likely 1/3rd of a billion. And no it's not difficult to make a nation and different ethnicities and cultures. Look at India, population is ~1.4 billion with 22 major languages (dialects 1600) with different ethnicities and cultures (more diverse than US). Although like any other place it's not perfect, but definitely more open minded than USA, except the people who are influenced by American cancel culture/wokism.
@@rrrajlive I'm (an American mutt of German/English/lux/Scandinavian decent) am currently sitting in a house owned by a guy from Lithuania, married to a Russian Asian minority, who also has kids from a Jew from Moscow, and there are Mexican and Columbian people doing work in the kitchen. Just including _the people in this house,_ you couldn't make an accurate statement about the open-minded-ness of Americans.
Let alone try to do it with all 330 million of us.
And I said half a billion because you were comparing Russia to the USA, and add the population of the two countries, and you're at just about half a billion.
Only and closed minded idiot would make a blanket statement about half a billion people. And actually, now you've made a blanket statement about nearly 2 billion people. Holy sh....
How arrogant do you have to be?
Amazing content as always , keep it up🙏🏻🙏🏻 can’t believe how Eli is insanely Kind ✨✨🖤🖤
I love you 🤗🤗
These ladies are smart. :]
Much respect to these beautiful and intelligent women. Especially the ones who attempt to speak English. Impressive.
I’ve spent a lot of time in Russia…I know life can be very hard, especially outside of the main cities, but you need to remember that the grass always looks greener on the other side. The so called “culture wars” and “cancel culture” in Western countries is making them much less appealing.
You are right. Censorship is the USA is growing.
Oh yeah, both things are the same level of bad. Are you serious??? lol
@@GD-my5hm I mean that cancel culture is indicative of a bigger problem. 1930's Germany ring a bell?
Greetings from Vancouver! We have Russian people who own the house across from us. They are from Siberia believe it or not. Very nice people. I think Canadians and Russians have much in common.
Russian people from Serbia? Don't tell this to your neighbor, they will feel offended

Hi?? Eli, I loved all yours videos and your channel too. I'm brasilian guy and became your biggest fan!!! thanks for shaw us wonderful experience in your coutry!! I can't stop watching this videos more!!!!
Hey, my name is Arseniy. I live in the US. I will say this, my wife works with international students that come here for a cultural exchange. People end up running and not wanting to return. I have also heard not case of real love. It really is all about the person. When you are at an intersection all directions are possible.
I couldn't agree more.
i disagree with u 100% ...it not true what you said and this is not my opinion . language is something to learn lol it doesnt effect the relationship. its about the mentality the more you think this is a foreigner the more it will be not that close and the more theres barriers because of how you make others feel like an outsider and making the "language "thing as an excuse )
Russian women are wonderful! Beautiful, intelligent, responsible, reasonable, conservative, trustworthy, loyal...and of course, they expect the same!
My russian wife is the best in my life. She understand me without words. My sweet Sveta ❤❤
Gosh... they're all so beautiful
Wow amazing how fit and healthy Russian women are to Anglo women and they’re actually nice too. Win win.
it is the same everywhere...if you ask these questions to an indian or american or colombian or syrian, you will get the same answers
I like how the women who were interviewed had very down to earth expectations, as well as the man at the end.
Elina, well done with your presentation. I enjoyed watching this.
My son is 21 and a senior in college. Good looking guy, hard worker with a bright future but very shy after growing up around Michigan girls. I keeping telling him he needs to find a nice Russian girl.
This is a great idea! Let him start learning Russian now. This will be very useful to him in life - the future belongs to Russia! And when the collapse begins in the USA, your son will be safe in Russia.
That dude at the end is pretty smart. Russian women seem very natural and genuine. I’m from the US and I love dating foreign girls because they are so interesting and would show me an exciting new culture/world. Dated a girl from Germany and another from Norway. Once you get to experience all of that including the traveling, local girl start to seem boring 😢
ВДНХ Park (or VDNKh) in Moscow. It's a beautiful place! Space museum, friendship of nations fountain, stone flower fountain, aquarium, dozens of beautiful pavilions, botanical gardens, lovely Russian girls ice skating...and lots more. It's a massive place and very interesting, well worth a visit if you're ever in Moscow.
America use to have all those things too, when we had a conservative White culture as yours. Now the diversity has destroyed many of those places and the city taxes are not enough to keep repairing them. Here is an example of a typical inner-city now: ruclips.net/video/ZvtuZwU9fCE/видео.html
I envy their hair so much. 😭
Yeah, their hair is like WOW! :)
Yours looks nice too
Jealousy is the negative feeling inside human being .don't be jealous but admire her for the goodness .
Sensual ASMR I keep seeing your posts on “Russian” themed channels and I checked out your channel. What are you doing in your vids??
Very beautiful naturally with little to no make-up, pretty long hair and very feminine. Traditional men love this, no tattoo's, no aggressiveness, soft speaking, gentle, well spoken.
My situation is almost exactly the same as Sam Ch. I met my wife over the internet in 1999 and we corresponded for 3 months before I went to visit her in Sevastopol. I proposed and she accepted and that was 20 years ago and two sons also, Alexander and Constantine. I was never so happy in my life. She passed away from cancer in August 2020. We buried her on our 20th wedding anniversary. The exact day. Getting back in saddle and have met a wonderful Russian girl and we're going to get married. I would never look anywhere other than Russia for a wife. Beautiful, intelligent, funny and fun and interesting. Russian women are the absolute best!
Jesus...
She passed away and you married again 🙈 without waiting ... and you didn't marry a women you married a girl? So she is much junger than you? Did you fly to Russia just to get a new jung girl?
You talk about only marrying and finding a new Russian wife like you are selecting a pure breed of dog and it’s kind of disturbing. Not trying to be judgmental or anything but jeesh….
