You have to understand the Slavic people have been conditioned for decades of militarism and a backwards social system.(not all Slavs but mostly Russians or Ukrainians). Lena said in the last video she wanted to get out of there. He even asked where she wanted to go. She said to the city. They left her there. If Sergei would've have said he was taking her to the city and got a place for her, she would've left. But he didn't

Giving her a phone is no guarantee they’ll let her keep it. My mother was in a situation with my sister so another sister bought her a phone. The phone was taken away and hidden from her.

I think there is a case for Stockholm syndrome. Often when someone is kidnapped, held against their will and or abused they develop a psychological bond with the captor/abuser but Lena needs to know she deserves better. Find her a home and maybe a job, she needs to start living independently.

I'm British and was surprised the family lied to the police, as I was under the impression Russian police could be more forceful if they wanted to enter a property and investigate allegations. However we have seen in other videos that there can often be two different sides to a story, and presumably the police must be careful to try and be neutral until there is evidence of a crime.
I feel frustrated after watching that! There needs to be a plan in place for lena, she must feel safe knowing they won't drag her back to slavery again 😢

73 this month and I have a sister who did my mom like this. We tried to intervene. Even got police and elder abuse involved. They were in Hawaii while we were in Michigan and my mom was suffering from Stockholm syndrome. Mom would tell everyone she didn’t have any problems. Broke our hearts. 😢💔
I'm 93 and am treated so kindly by my four daughters, 14 grandkids and 32 great-grandchildren! I feel so bad for Lena and hope she can overcome her fear and allow Sergei and others to find her a safe place far away from that evil abuser!

Dear Sergey- I watched A LOT of your videos and truly appreciate your work in all facets. I can see that you really care about the kids and also adults who live in unspeakable conditions. I am from Austria and I have seen some stuff as a paramedic but nothing like this. And so what I am saying is just my subjectiv suggestion because of my personal life experiences. We really wish fir this people a normal life, but how can they ever have it without helping their mind and soul??? It's beautiful to give them warm clothes, groceries, money- whatever they need. And sometimes I can feel your frustration and anger when situations don't work out as you wish they would. But that the truth is that almost all of this people have experienced some kind of abuse, trauma and worse. And often it goes over generations. The same with all kind of addictions. They are not healed by a new apartment, clothes and whatever. I know that you are doing so much more than other people and I cheer you up for this. I just suggest that you may get in contact with some therapists or psychologists - maybe one of them is willing to help in just talking with this people. Anyway- keep up the great work, you are ONE in a mind.

Agree, she needs a sense of security of how to survive - shelter, food… when she leaves. She needs this established for her.

I think there is a case for Stockholm syndrome. Often when someone is kidnapped, held against their will and or abused they develop a psychological bond with the captor/abuser but Lena needs to know she deserves better. Find her a home and maybe a job, she needs to start living independently.

I think stolkhome syndrome is a very real possibility in this case unfortunately. Its hard to overcome it as well. Lena is strong and I hope she will.
Stockholme syndrome is not real, though. That is realistic of any domestic abuse cycle.
The term you are looking for is actually "trauma bonding."
Trauma of some kind....escaping was more dangerous before so she is scared to try again.

You never ask the victim in front of their abusers questions.. that does nothing but makes the situation worse I understand your trying to help her and I appreciate that from the bottom of my heart. For serious questions like this you take her away and ask her in private. This is speaking from experience. Lena is such a wonderful soul I can tell she deserves nothing but happiness and I know you will help her with that!

I'm British and was surprised the family lied to the police, as I was under the impression Russian police could be more forceful if they wanted to enter a property and investigate allegations.
However we have seen in other videos that there can often be two different sides to a story, and presumably the police must be careful to try and be neutral until there is evidence of a crime.
In the West we have a distorted view of Russia built on our media propaganda.

I hate to think what they will do to her when everyone has left. The poor woman was clearly terrified and the police should have separated them so they could get a clear answer of what was going on. Please help her Sergei - she deserves to have a happy life without being bullied. I would also make sure the child protective services is aware of what this household is like.

73 this month and I have a sister who did my mom like this. We tried to intervene. Even got police and elder abuse involved. They were in Hawaii while we were in Michigan and my mom was suffering from Stockholm syndrome. Mom would tell everyone she didn’t have any problems. Broke our hearts. 😢💔
I'm 93 and am treated so kindly by my four daughters, 14 grandkids and 32 great-grandchildren! I feel so bad for Lena and hope she can overcome her fear and allow Sergei and others to find her a safe place far away from that evil abuser!

Your parents must be so proud of you Sergei, the work you do helping people is invaluable. Perhaps, if next time you visit Lena, you can have some type of accommodation ready for her to move into and tell her that you will try to help her find some type of appropriate work so that she can support herself, then I'm almost positive she would get in the car and leave with you. Just ensure that there is no way in hell that that evil woman can ever find her again. Dear Sergey- I watched A LOT of your videos and truly appreciate your work in all facets. I can see that you really care about the kids and also adults who live in unspeakable conditions. I am from Austria and I have seen some stuff as a paramedic but nothing like this. And so what I am saying is just my subjectiv suggestion because of my personal life experiences. We really wish fir this people a normal life, but how can they ever have it without helping their mind and soul??? It's beautiful to give them warm clothes, groceries, money- whatever they need. And sometimes I can feel your frustration and anger when situations don't work out as you wish they would. But that the truth is that almost all of this people have experienced some kind of abuse, trauma and worse. And often it goes over generations. The same with all kind of addictions. They are not healed by a new apartment, clothes and whatever. I know that you are doing so much more than other people and I cheer you up for this. I just suggest that you may get in contact with some therapists or psychologists - maybe one of them is willing to help in just talking with this people. Anyway- keep up the great work, you are ONE in a mind.
