I got the add gold command to work, but what I really wanted to do was use this edit my stats and that doesn't seem to be working at all. I tried following the steps in the cheat engine like reloading saves and disabling and re-enabling the string but it either doesn't change anything or it makes the game crash.
I've never use mod in any game but after playing baulder gate 3, I noticed one of my Mind flay parasite specimen just magically disappear from my inventory. I checked everywhere and everything it just gone. I wanted to use the built-in in-game mod manager but I don't see any item duplication, unless I'm looking in the wrong place. I think I'll give cheat engine a try and thank you for the steps by step guide. New to modding
Yeah I’ve seen a lot of people with this type of problem actually. Like losing some irreplaceable quest item or object and being completely locked out of a quest or area because said item went missing. My videos get a bit of hate for showing people how to cheat in games but there’s a lot of people who just don’t want to lose 50+ hours on their save because of some bug or mistake. Fixed it: Was in App & browser controll menue in Window security menu. Had to allow app to pass through and tack no action against the app. Now able to launch it.
My Laezel is stucked everytime I get to talk to her, and she always responds something like "I'm not here for chitchat". Is there any command to fix this? I guess it is because she is stucked in some conversation but I've been having this bug since the first Githyanki encounter in act 1... I tried killing her and using a revivify scroll on her but nothing seems to work, also if I dismiss her I am no longer able to make her join me as I can't talk to her.
Hi all, I may ask a stupid question, but is it possible to use the table if I play with friends together, but the leader of the group who created the game is another person? I just don't have anything activated
It’s not likely that it would work while playing online with others, especially if you’re not the host. I would try every cheat and see if anything would work
I'm only using this to max stats and nothing more. I get the stats maxed, however when I reload after saving, the stats reset to what they were. Is there a solution to this?
I think the stats are loaded from various sources in the save file so the final number stat is generated dynamically. It might be that the stats have to be added through conventional methods like leveling up or using items that add stats
@@jericho5253 As long as you don't level up you can use the codes in "temporary", modify the stats, then save the game, then close cheat engine and reload the new save. You should keep the stats as long as they are not get changed through the game. Not perfect but works at least a bit.
Some of the cheats are a bit trickier to get working but I’d recommend checking the discussion on that forum page to see how others got certain cheats to work
im on latest window 11 driver. i turn off firewall, virus, and allow engine cheat in ransomware protection. I get the message "Operation did not complete successfully because the file contain a virus or potentially unwanted software" what am i doing wrong? what setting do i need to change? i also allow the app in Admin but still get this error message.
This can happen when using cheat engine. It’s because it finds where certain values are stored and forces them to change and programs don’t like that so sometimes they crash. To save changes, you would just save how you would normally
It could be that those specific cheats are temporary and just working for that play session and aren’t being written onto your save file. You might need to use a more permanent way of writing your stats.. like through leveling up

None of mine work in place of the value, only appears and I don't know how the cheat engine works, it's too complex for me.
Sometimes it failed to load. Just gotta keep relaunching either the game or chest engine until it does work. Its not perfect
the biggest crime is not having anything in darkmode and being assaulted with pinlist's whitescreen

Any idea how to add the Dark Urge origin with CE or commands? I know you can add the Tag, but it doesn't seem to enable TDU quests.

@@Swashed_ ahh, when I next level up I’ll report with my findings. I’m just keeping CE running in the background in the meantime.
@@Swashed_ So I leveled up but it appears to superficially heighten the stats, unfortunately, and it resets upon a new load.

@Swashed_ I did max stats and jump. I saved the game and went to main menu and close the engine did I do something wrong in the process

Try reloading the game. Sometimes it’s glitchy so it’s not 100% working every time

This video was made after patch 7 release and it worked. Maybe try running cheat engine as admin
