And when you are in a position to be honest like that and after you leave you wonder, what kind of idiot am I giving back money that someone was trying to force on me? Lol. I had a cashier start crying because I actually went back in after realizing that the cashier gave me to much money back and she said she would have lost her job and the money taken out of her paycheck and she had some medical bills she was paying for a family member. So doing the right thing might mean a lot more to someone else...

C'mon... it's a sad statement on humanity when we wonder about someone's honesty. That's how we all should be! Especially given the circumstances; you have Noraly, who is obviously well off in comparison, a world traveler, traveling through a poor country where people struggle to get by. You think she's going to want to pocket the extra 300 pesos and short change the gas attendant? Especially given all the great hospitality and generosity she's experienced from people who have very little throughout her travels? I don't think so! When people show you generosity and trust you're going to want to give it in return....

Noraly, people often comment, how can one person make a difference in such in a world with a population of so many. However, for 30 or so minutes, three times a week, I find myself glued to your channel sharing the adventures as if I were there with you riding Alaska. For that time period, all else stops around me, the focus is intense. Your adventures bring so much joy to so many and this ripples out throughout our world. Thank you for sharing your passion and enthusiasm. It is an inspiration.

Kindness and respect are regenerative. Noraly's openness and respect for the people she encounters are half of the equation. Who would not want to help Noraly? With all the gloomy comments about Mexico, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Colombia, etc., it will be interesting to see if Noraly is shown the same degree of hospitality when she arrives in El Norte, where many people are disconnected from the soil and each other. I sincerely hope the ride of joy and mutual respect continues for our heroine, all the way to Arctic circle.

Because she don't come off as a "tourist" she's comes off as an explorer. Tourist=money, big shots, rich enough people..
that why tourists get scammed and pick pocketed and other bs because they ARE rich enough to do what most locals cant do but wanna be in these poorer countries resorts that the locals can't reserve after a chunk of their land was carved out so the rich can be in these countries without being around the reality of the country..it give nothing to the locals other then the government being able to tax their purchases..so this kinda offensive but also a cash grab for the locals so they deal with rich foreigners but hate how people don't actually care about the place it's just a rich person's get away..
This lady's vibe is totally organic and intouch with reality and people pick up on that and treat her friendly...

Noraly, this was one of your best ever videos! I remember reading an article many, many years ago about this red area in Mexico. I just tried to find the article, but was not able to locate it. If memory serves me correctly, the article was written by an astro-geologist. He said that most people just assume the red dirt came from the mining operation. However, he thought otherwise. He said that possibly during the earth's earliest years, a huge, soft iron based meteorite hit the earth here. The red is the result of the iron core. Not all meteorites are hard and this was was not. That is why there is no impact crater. Basically, it was a ball of soft iron that struck earth and spread out over a small area.
I have always wanted to see this area. Thanks again! Virtual Nomad

Remarkable landscape, even more spectacular from the drone perspective! Such a contrast with the gorge route you took. I knew the drone would be deployed at the river and as always, marvelous scenery and views. Just imagine what it took to make a road into these mountains! What an awesome ride today! Loved it.

Your attraction to where this road may take you, resonates with myself and my father before me, often leading us to places seldom seen,or only known to the local people, and by visiting and admiring we know and‘join’ with them in many ways understanding and even honouring their lands and their lives. Thanks Noraly for taking us with you. The spirit of adventure is strong in you, but also a sort of compassionate curiosity for people places and ways of being. The gift I receive , like becoming kindred with this place in the universe… as I follow your lead, the bumps , I too gasp at the views, the rocks suddenly looming in your/our path, I feel old inured riding-muscles twitch, ready & bracing for the bumps, and my brake-hand already pressing in as corrugations appear or ruts open up ahead. It’s a joy to be one w the road again through you and Honda, the bike the wind the sun and unsheltering sky. We follow your brave incursions, pushing back the ‘unknown’ . I am eager for what comes next, cheers Bruce.
