The company I work for builds G650 & G550 interiors. It's very challenging and interesting work. Oddly enough, I don't get to see what we build...in aircraft! Rather nice to see what it looks like installed.
As much as I'd love to fly jet aircraft, my heart tells me I'd enjoy a good old Cessna 172 with no glass instruments much more. Even more than that, a powered paramotor. I'm still choosing whether to become a pilot though, I mean I will.
But he was a tosser to get excited about a cabinet for storage! She said every piece of equipment was lovely and large....and I bet she has seen plenty of 'equipment' in her time.
just out of curiosity...does it really need 2 sets of crew? i assume 2 crew is needed to take off and land, and one can watch over the autopilot while another rests in air.... unless you mean 2 full time crew member, not 2 sets..
In your plane you can take 5 full sets of crews if you want, I doubt a job offer for cabin crew on this plane will be getting any less than 50 applications per day even if it says you have to clean the windows on the outside during flight
I load up my iphone with podcasts and if the flight has IFE... add that to my podcasts and the sleep I will need on a 14 hour flight and it's really no big deal... biggest issue is having to get up 3x for bathroom.... Also if the plane is full of Chinamen they act so weird on long flights I hate htat.
Jack Britt if you can dream it and believe it,, then you better work your a$$ off, because it is possible of you have the right vehicle. #theBusinessOfThe21stCentury- read that book. It is possible to live like the classes
So I’m a boater and my boats with stoves, microwaves, water heaters, etc have a generator to power them while off the dock. I’m assuming a private jet this size has a generator as well, or what powers the AC appliances?
A private jet is a private jet not a luxury aircraft. It is private, you could be alone but even objectively looking at it, a modern first class suite on a 14 hour flight is going to be better.
If I had that much cash the Boeing BBJ is a lot more comfortable. Also much more available, the wait list for the 650 is currently over one year. BBJ isn't all that much more than the the 650.
DV556 there's a reason for the wait list on a G650 and not for a BBJ. G650 is much faster, quieter and maintains a cabin altitude that is significantly lower. It's designed for this type of mission and not a warmed over airliner. The technology in the cockpit and cabin is far superior as well. You're comparing a Bentley to a conversion van essentially.
@brett run that is a bad comparison. The extra speed and silence are neglible when compared to the additional space and comfort you get with a BBJ. The only concern I'd have is maintenance costs.
Monsieur Uz I disagree and apparently so do most business jet buyers. When you can afford a jet like this time is at a premium. The G650 will save well over an hour of travel time on longer range missions as compared to a BBJ. That, coupled with the much quieter cabin and much lower cabin pressure altitude means the passengers arrive much more rested and ready for business. Again, a purpose built high speed and long range business jet better suits the mission than a re-purposed airliner. The average pax load on these jets is 3-6 people. There's more than enough room in a G650. Unless an operator has a specific need to move large numbers of pax the BBJ is waisted space and weight and inefficient.
@brett run Wow, we have totally different preferences. One hour of time saved would be negligible to me if I'm already saving 6 or more hours from not flying commercial. I'd sacrifice that extra hour for more comfort. This plane looks poky even for just 3 people. I guess if you live in a tiny flat in a big city you'd consider this spacious. My bedroom alone is bigger than that plane and I don't consider that spacious. I have never ever been bothered by plane noise in a 737 either. Guess it's because you become acclimatized to it. There's also a wonderful gadget called noise-cancelling headphones. The stuff about cabin pressure is also irrelevant. As long as it's not significantly affecting my health I'm ok. If the work is important, I will give it my 101% regardless of how "tired" I feel after the flight. I know bankers who fly business class long-distance at least twice a week and barely complain of being "tired".
Don't forget it flies higher so you can get above the bad weather and heavy air traffic, and it also has enough range to not need a layover when doing things like crossing the pacific.
"Punishment at the back of an airliner" Since when is first class at the back of a airliner? The fact is, first class on a modern jet is bigger, more comfortable and quieter than a seat on a private jet. You also have more space to walk around if your legs are hurting from seating.
Peizxcv I've never flown first class but flew once on a private jet on a 5 hour flight and it was really delightful and quiet and peaceful. Would take it over anything
Ask owners, or people who have access to these ultra long range jets if they fly them for 14 hours - very, very few do. Most prefer 4-8 hours and surveys show if it’s say transatlantic, many prefer to fly commercial first class.
The utility model relates to an aircraft hub, which comprises a hub body, the hub body is provided with an axle hole, and the shaft hole is suitable for connecting with the rotating shaft of the aircraft landing gear; the blade is provided with a plurality of blades along the axial end face of the hub main body, the blades on the end face at the same side of the hub body are evenly arranged along the circumference direction outside the shaft hole, and the end face connected with the blade and the hub main body is arranged at an included angle to make the blade The first included angle is acute angle and the second included angle is obtuse angle. The lower position of the hub body makes the first included angle face the forward direction of the aircraft, and the upper position of the hub body makes the second included angle face the forward direction of the aircraft. After the landing gear is opened in the process of aircraft take-off and landing, the utility model uses the air flow to rotate the hub of the aircraft to rotate the aircraft tire, uses the inertia generated by the high-speed rotation of the aircraft wheel to stabilize the aircraft, and the rotational inertia of the aircraft tire can balance the bumping wave of the aircraft, which is helpful for the smooth takeoff and landing of the aircraft. (patent certificate ZL 2019 2 1682889.0)
Flying first class round trip from the US to Asia cost less than starting a 650 and taxiing it to the end of the runway when you include all of the costs involved.
@Brisdad53... Oh yes it does. I have a friend that owns a private jet company. The maintenance, hanger fees, pilot wages and fringe benefits, airport fees, interest payments on the loan, the actual loan itself.... The list of expenses is long, and that's before you ever start that golfstream 650. Did you know the hardest thing you do to a jet engine is starting it? One hot start can damage an engine to the point of having to tear it down. Then again someone of your caliber could refute my claims. Please do.
Jon Dury if you work hard there is nothing that you can't achieve. Three years ago I would not have thought that I would be a multi millionaire at the age of 22, yes 22.
ChaosBelow I'm an investor I invest in real estate, stock market, forex, private equity. I also started a few business which I sold. As of right now my biggest investments are in a couple tech and biotech companies
Personally I think the Gulfstream 650ER looks the coolest but I like the cabin of the Global 7000 better. Probably pick the Global 7000 because of that.....but then again you could by a BBJ (Boeing business jet) for the same price as those two. Don't know what the cost of operating them would be but if you're a billionaire then I guess you can afford it.
My father just bought one with 2 of his business partners, supposed to take delivery in November this year. He just sold his Lear Jet 45 in April which was a cool plane but he wanted something with much longer range since he and his business partners fly to Tokyo 3 to 6 times a month i usually go with them couple times a month since i am obsessed with Japan and my wife is Japanese. It is one beautiful bird and i literally can't wait to take a trip with my wife to Sydney Australia on it that we have planned for Christmas this year.
QUESTION: Couldn't some of these electrically operated fold-away conveniences in the aircraft be opened and closed mechanically, without electric motors?
Those are air conditioning hoses from mobile units because these aircraft get quite warm on the static display. They can only run their internal systems when the engines are running. Thanks for watching!
The most appealing thing about this plane is the high cabin pressure. That's a gamechanger.
Godns
now im feeling so fly like a g6
Wow finally I get it
Onto g7 now
That song is wack as hell.
For 65 million I want a bit more.
Same here. Which is why I'd prefer a BBJ 737.
steveo1kinevo And you'll still be paying money just to have it in the airport and the catering :p
ESPINØSA bb
Bnnnkjn kiki bisa io9
steveo1kinevo omg I love your videos keep up the good work. And love the 850 I think it is a real nice starter plane.
steveo1kinevo I was about to comment that
The company I work for builds G650 & G550 interiors. It's very challenging and interesting work. Oddly enough, I don't get to see what we build...in aircraft! Rather nice to see what it looks like installed.
we‘ve got a full microwave for reheating soup etc... well if that isn‘t lavish then i don‘t know what is
eating reheated soup is the pinacle of wealth
Emmanuel Macron And it's lobster bisque from Cambells......lol
Lol
Why I only ordered one of these for my daughter. She needs to experience the harsh reality of normal life first.
Lol
I could not stop laughing after reading your comment. My stomach hurts lol.
THE 2021 IS BEAUTIFUL BEYOND DESCRIPTION AND PRECIOUS BEYOND WORDS! WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW!
Over 60 Millions for a *lcd screen with 8cm bezzles* ?!?! I would rather take bombardier global 7000
Tritron yeah I agree. They need to refresh the tech
Or bbj 737
Agreed but this plane can go a looooooong ways
@@morgannorth3378 yeah but as long as youre rated and licensed in (almost) any country you are good to go
I took that plane from Austin, TX to Auckland, NZ nonstop.
It was 15 hours of comfort and luxury. Best vacation ever!!
In your dream broski
As much as I'd love to fly jet aircraft, my heart tells me I'd enjoy a good old Cessna 172 with no glass instruments much more. Even more than that, a powered paramotor. I'm still choosing whether to become a pilot though, I mean I will.
British accents make videos like this so much better.
And easier to understand for me as a german.
But he was a tosser to get excited about a cabinet for storage!
She said every piece of equipment was lovely and large....and I bet she has seen plenty of 'equipment' in her time.
one day I am gonna own something like this
veer shroff that’s the way to think
You and me both mate
*I WILL OWN ONE GULFSTREAM 650 ONE DAY*
U will own shit. People who want things like this take action and don't talk
Unless your daddy has 100m€ or you become a dictator of a third world country, no you won't
That's a nice plane and all. But i'm keeping my 152.
D Moore 152 much better.
D Moore lucky bastad
Boo hoo... intercontinental... lets go do some spins in a 152, much more fun!
I’ll keep my tomahawk
152 what?
Very informative video. Question: in a 14 hour long non stop flight, do they take relief pilots, so the original pilots can rest? Thnk you.
They do
Put the plane on autopilot ain’t hard
A quick tour and briefing on the on board avionics would have been nice. Power plants?
I like the cabin attendant
Have it delivered too my VIP gate at Logan Airport in Boston, MA. As i'm planning my first trip too Tokyo Japan for 10 days. Thanks.
Is nobody thinking about the crew? For a 14h flights you need at least 2 full crew and where are they going to rest?
UncleFester84 that's where the Global 7000 comes in :)
just out of curiosity...does it really need 2 sets of crew?
i assume 2 crew is needed to take off and land, and one can watch over the autopilot while another rests in air....
unless you mean 2 full time crew member, not 2 sets..
You can specify a crew rest area.. OK it's a seat that reclines in a 'booth' on it's own - see their layouts on the website.
In your plane you can take 5 full sets of crews if you want, I doubt a job offer for cabin crew on this plane will be getting any less than 50 applications per day even if it says you have to clean the windows on the outside during flight
UncleFester84 ...right....they're people too...
Having a hard time deciding my future jet.
or you can pay 5 dollars for a bar of xanax. And mysteriously a 14 hour flight turns into a whispy 2 hour flight.
teknodisko lmaoo... i would need at least 3. and a drink
teknodisko you pay 5 dollars for a drug that gets produced for pennies. Lmao clown, that is why you are broke
I load up my iphone with podcasts and if the flight has IFE... add that to my podcasts and the sleep I will need on a 14 hour flight and it's really no big deal... biggest issue is having to get up 3x for bathroom.... Also if the plane is full of Chinamen they act so weird on long flights I hate htat.
id rather have a few Percocet for a flight that long
What use is a wine bar, when you have a bar of Xanax? :)
I like that floor plan. Nice jet.
Looks pretty good, where is the 1st class section?
Those windows are huge. They make the aircraft look much smaller that it actually is.
i love watching these video's.wishing i could owned one of these jets someday.
I need one!
jack britt min
Jack Britt if you can dream it and believe it,, then you better work your a$$ off, because it is possible of you have the right vehicle.
#theBusinessOfThe21stCentury- read that book. It is possible to live like the classes
Jack Britt You want*** one
Why not just buy two....one to go and one to come back? LOL
Приятного путешествия и ярких впечатлений.
I had the large screen tv taken out of mine. I needed more room for my Pabst.
I really am LAUGHING OUT LOUD
Gulfstream g650 er the best world
So, vanlife on wings. I dig that.
why do i keep coming back to watch these I don't have the money and I doubt if I will ever have the money to buy or rent one of these
Frick, That Lady got me when she said "Instead of looking up at the clouds, I look down at the clouds." 5:07
Dream aircraft
14hr trip, definitely taking my bong and good food
I'm writing my check for one right now. Though I do feel there should be more to offer for the price
Perfect kit! 7500NM Range a must! AND Global 7000s, 8000s STILL on delay!!!
Curious to know if a backup crew is required for a max range flight.
Eventually I'll get one... in 1:24 scale of course.
So I’m a boater and my boats with stoves, microwaves, water heaters, etc have a generator to power them while off the dock. I’m assuming a private jet this size has a generator as well, or what powers the AC appliances?
Power is acquired from the engines (as they spin). Similar to how a bike light is powered by cycling
That’s it, I’m getting one!
A private jet is a private jet not a luxury aircraft. It is private, you could be alone but even objectively looking at it, a modern first class suite on a 14 hour flight is going to be better.
I think you are right ... its better to go on first class suites of singapore airline/etihad airways/emirates rather than a private jet

You know what i dont like? That you are forced to look at each other in the seats
SquaReTigerZ it is mostly to socialize onboard.
***** True but still i wish to seats could turn around because honestly i dont like to look people in the eyes in general
SquaReTigerZ you can move or rotate the seat 180*
***** Thank you.
SquaReTigerZ there are different configurations, this is just one mock up of the ibterior
For $65 Million Dollars my Flight Attendant better be gorgeous.
Vladimir Putin Well you are obviously gonna have to hire them yourself, so pick some gorgeous once. A pilot might come in handy as well.
Nathan Mann just fetch me a beer English bitch! Lol
I am, thank you.
If you want an interior it's closer to 90 million. 65 million gets you the base airplane without the interior
Lol
parachutes ,,,,seriously is a must have on private jets
Makes me want to upgrade my PC-12.

Do the flight attendants sleep with owner in his cabin? Didn't see a crew rest area.
Fantastic.
I’m a Bombardier man, but this looks nice....
3:43 not until one of them has to go to the bathroom and squeeze past your bed lol
Let's get this bread boys!!!
Aw I wanted to see the cockpit
soon I will have one of these in my disposal..
yes if there's one thing that gets me more excited than some drawers it's a wine storage space because I always drink wine when I'm thirsty.
When I get a job I'm gonna be a pilot and own one of these!
i'll buy one next year

Is it capable to fly from NewYork to Banglore in India.
beautiful airplane!
How do aircraft manage high speed internet at flight lvl 45 over the middle of the ocean?
One day! I can see it coming!

where does the crew rest ?
Will there be a lighter and more thinner television for the aircraft?
How much does it cost, I wanna buy it someday
The good choice tourista 😤🙏👌
DREAM!!
Nice. Very nice.
Ohhhh...yesssss...I love this airplane !!! 👀👍
Where is the place? Name of this place or this airport?
wow.. very amazing
This interrior has no crew rest room?
I like this aircraft
This video is great but god do I hate the YT algos. I already watched it...
I think i'm gonna buy one for myself
Where do the flight attendants sit or rest?
Nice, very nice
That is some beautiful wood
What's the B.C. rating ? (BUSINESS CLASS INDEX)
Why am I watching this? There is no chance in the hell I'd ever be able to fly on one of these.
Jon Dury if you work hard there is nothing that you can't achieve. Three years ago I would not have thought that I would be a multi millionaire at the age of 22, yes 22.
imtechguy What business are you in?
imtechguy Respect. We have the same attitude. See you at the top!
ChaosBelow I'm an investor I invest in real estate, stock market, forex, private equity. I also started a few business which I sold. As of right now my biggest investments are in a couple tech and biotech companies

650ER is still the original cabin from when the 650 launched in 2010. It is getting an update this year along with the launch of the g500 and g600
trolley dolly washing dishes at 40,000 feet? That's really living! 😂😂😂

Aviation Nut must be nice to be a trust fund baby
What is the place where you are selling these jets, is it Miami? Can someone tell me?
That TV is old the bezels are gigantic.
Marvellous 👍👍👍👍
A 14 hour flight with no queen/king sized bed for the Principal? 😳😲😲
My dream 😍
Let me know the price of this jet
Perfect, I'll take it
Are we to climb aboard?
How would the 14 hour flight be for the flight crew though?
QUESTION: Couldn't some of these electrically operated fold-away conveniences in the aircraft be opened and closed mechanically, without electric motors?
Great jet. But this interior choice doesn't do this jet justice, I've seen other 650s with some amazing looking interiors
what are the grey hoses with yellow ribs for? the ones that look like giant dryer hoses
Those are air conditioning hoses from mobile units because these aircraft get quite warm on the static display. They can only run their internal systems when the engines are running. Thanks for watching!
