Interesting timing on the question since just yesterday they announced the acquisition of the GE aircraft leasing business, a deal worth about 30bil. AerCap owns the entire aircraft leasing world now I guess.

I remember many years ago, having our private jet to myself, landing and stopping in front of about 200 people on the apron great to board some DC-10, we stopped in front of it, and I got out just as our other company plane came in front of the one I was getting out of, I then walked to the next one got in, and off we went. I could feel like 200 pairs of eyes drilling into me thinking who is this guy getting off one into another.
For those wondering,I had to go to another country so someone else needed the first plane to go somewhere.
