Hey that's so great to hear that you're interested in more! Honestly I felt like I had soo much more to say on this topic, but was trying to keep the length "reasonable" as opposed to a multiple hour video lol. You're very welcome and thank you so much for the kind words and support!
Congrats on your kickstarter! Love the cards, dude. Great to see more artists embracing making card decks. I loved making mine more than any other product I've made.
Hey thanks so much, really appreciate that! And that's so cool (and affirming) to hear that you enjoyed making your own playing card deck as your favorite product! I actually took a peek at your channel and saw the cards myself. You did an EXCELLENT job, major congrats to you as well, bud!! 🤩🙌
@@artofliThank you! I totally agree that they’re such a wonderful art form. I made mine five years ago; I wanted to keep making more, but life’s been crazy!
WOW!!!! Beautiful job, Li 🥳✨ This is such a well-put-together video!!! It's so easy to follow/understand. Honestly, its very true when you say this is such a great form to collect artists work of art. As an art lover myself, I know I would really appreciate how affordable and compact it would be😊 I hope many artist out there get to see this video and find it helpful. Love, love, looove the video. Congrats on your first long-form video and to the success of Aethercore ❤🥳🔥🔥🔥
Ahh, I'm sooo glad you found the points easy to understand and that they resonated with you! Given that this is my first long form video ever, I really hoped I "stuck the landing," lol. Really tho, as a fairly seasoned professional artist, I'm so thrilled to get a chance to "champion" this format, since there seems to be virtually zero videos highlighting these points which made me fall in love with the whole premise so much. Just had to get the word out there! Your encouragement means so much, thank you thank you!! 🥳🔥💫🌟
Oh wow, such a glorious comment to hear!! It truly means so much to have you agree with these points, especially given all your experience as both an avid collector AND having brought together so many great artists for your Unity card project! Just brilliant. And btw, you can definitely look forward to a timelapse reel to be posted here for my submission for Unity 2! Thank you so very much!! 😄🙌🙏
@@artofliI am honored and humbled by your participation with the Unity Volume Two campaign. We all can’t wait to see your design and I can’t wait to share it to the world . I will surely follow with excitement . God bless my friend.
Yooo, I love that the ideas are cookin'! I think you're definitely a great track of thinking, as I've also considered chess boards as well, but definitely more for 3D artists perhaps. It's got the great combo of gaming, artistry, and solo/small team creatorship, and promoting your personal brand as well, amongst other benefits. Some "challenges' that come to mind may be more on the cost per chess set to produce/pledge, and also given their overall size and cost, it may be more competitive since I'm thinking the average individual/collector may not acquire maybe more than 3-4 sets? But hey, I think it's definitely something worth exploring, cuz when I think 3D, chess sets are definitely what come to mind and I've seen a great deal of beautiful custom sets out there, so at least some 3D artists are taking up the format! 😄
@artofli yeah, chess boards would really be more on the expensive side of art and would be more exclusive and niche to those who can afford pricey art it's still a great idea because it can be used as decoration for a living room or a library just like a painting but it would definitely be less accessible
@@trycheesebread55 Right, I totally agree that a chess set also serves as a beautiful living room decor, and can be appreciated at a glance. But just like you said, it's quite more niche, the players would have to be at least decent chess players, and it can really only facilitate up to 2 players at once. This is why playing cards is such a specific "sweet spot" given how versatile it is in terms of gaming and reaching a large gathering very fast, and again, very "practical" to collect given its size and affordability. Pretty crazy, imo 😲
I really look forward to watching more of these. Thank you for sharing your insights into this niche area of artwork. :)

you gave me an idea: what if 3D artists* start releasing chess boards all of a sudden?

but maybe it would be a great idea to sell* jigsaw puzzles since it can be done with cheaper materials
