@@jimjackson9381 Thank You Jim , regarding the issue that I was having trying to find a replacement bushing for my mower, I was able to find another complete mower with an excellent transmission and differential, only needing the boots replaced. Parts Tree was very helpful in providing those along with the items to freshen up my original unit less the dx bushing which I am going to have a machinist friend build for me so that I will have a spare unit if ever needed. Hopefully it will last another 15 years, that should get me past my mowing years … Thank You again for your kindness , Keep up your videos , Work safe and continue to be proud of what you do.

Hi Jim, not sure if you have the same problem as mine but my pressure washer stopped flowing water (engine ran fine) I was thinking it might be the pump but it was nothing more than a O Ring (Post the pump, I'm thinking in the handle assembly I can't remember) that was the problem.

I like your videos. Good instructions!!
You might FF through case bolt removals or other monotonous steps. Even most video makers do so when at speedy use of an impact & socket drivers.
Also, I am not sure what exact machine you were working on. Why was it brought in? What was it doing or not doing? A little history of the machine. How old? Etc.

Well I thought about fast forwarding but I have a lot of viewers that rather I didn’t so they can see exactly what I’m doing and how I’m doing it, I have a lot of viewers that admit to me that they are not mechanically inclined at all and they enjoy seeing everything they have to do to get their machine apart and back together.
The machine I’m working on I don’t know how old it is it is a 42 inch deck with a 16 horse twin Briggs & Stratton. engine Bruce bought it from The original owner who tried to put a clutch cable on and couldn’t figure it out so he sold it and Bruce said the only way he could use it is just throw it in gear without a clutch or break so we’re going to fix that and everything else that’s wrong with the machine and paint it also. Try putting some oil down alongside the steering shaft on the top in the bottom where the bushings are and spray some oil on the king pins were the bushings are in sounds like it’s just dirty and it’s froze it up. Jim

Hi Jim. I have a 2014 Snapper rear engine rider. I was mowing and the steering wheel stopped turning the wheels (spins freely). When I examined it, the pinion gear is not engaging into the teeth on the rack. I don't see a way to adjust it to properly mesh the teeth. Do you know how I can fix this?

Hey Jim, I picked up a 1978 Comet HV 28" RER from one of my snow removal customers. Anyway, it came with a Thatcherizer 6-0479 never used with manual. All parts are their, including the hanger. Any idea what the value of that is? I would like to sell it, I don't need it, do you know anyone looking for one? Thanks.
Perhaps I'll list it on ebay, if not craigslist, noticed not one available at the moment.

As far as I know they are still selling or plan on selling the rear engine riders, Briggs & Stratton. is going through a bankruptcy at the moment and they farmed out a lot of the production parts and they’re having trouble getting them so they can manufacture the machines I guess only time will tell the answer to that question. Well I guess you could say I’ve been doing this long enough that I’m smart enough to know when it’s time to cut your losses this was a cheap machine that wasn’t made to be repaired a lot of the pump you can’t get open because it’s sealed the part I could get open I’ve repaired twice already so I’ll pull the engine and use it for a lawnmower and replace the machine, besides it’s always better to have more power my old one was only 2000 psi.
