👍 hi mike...stunning..I enjoyed every second of my dad so long ago. He made us laugh constantly..thank you for showing this. This video came on his birthday . I adored him and think of him every single day in my life. Margy
I've got a lot to thank you for; I have learned so much from you. I am hot and heavy into card making now, and I learned from you how to make my art journal pages into cards just by scanning the pages and reducing them to A2 (or whatever) size. Now, for me, as an amateur, art can be all one thing whether I am making a Mission Inspiration page or making a card to send to a kid in a hospital. THANK YOU.
Your enthusiasm for this project radiated throughout the video. Aye, I had a rather large roll of similar foam tape. Then my limit was reached and I joyfully tossed it into the waste can. No regrets whatsoever. Having watched Bland's vids, I would say he is among your avid fans.
I love the story about your dad. My fathers stories were often about a couple of peanuts . Animated with shadows he made on the bedroom wall. I miss him every day . What a good looking explorer he is. The hat suits him . He should wear it everyday .xox . Love this page . TFS
Great page, Mike. Love watching you create and listening to your thoughts along the way. If your Dad still has your book/ story perhaps you could share on your blog? xx
Love this page! And your dad looks so cute! Loved that he told you such a story and that you gifted him a book you wrote about it. Would love to hear it! Thanks!
Cracking page Mike, great hearing about your Dad and his tales - what a fab imagination. Was a wonderful thing you did getting his stories published, I'm sure it's something he treasures. Yes, agree with another person here, reminds me of the film 'Big Fish' :)
This page is superb. It's up there with some of your very best pages. Your dad will love it. The video wasn't too long for me, I enjoyed watching you create this page so much. I have learnt a lot from you Mike. Thank you. Like you dad, my dad told me tall tales about his time in the Navy during the war. I believed everything he told me and continued to do so well in to my twenties. The power of every dad's tall stories, eh!! Love this video so much. You show a lot of techniques during it. I didn't know you can buy such tiny brads. I have some that I thought were the smallest I could get but yours a really tiny and I want some if them, lol. Hugs to all at home. xx
Just the one drawer Mike? I look at my "had to have immediately " drawers with products still unused from 10 years ago and think...AHHHH but still so much cheaper than a few psychiatric therapy sessions 😃 love Mission Inspiration. Hugs Kate
Don't worry about the length, OK my laptop battery did die before the end but the video was so good I came back to finish watching later. Great page as always and loved the story behind it.
I had to laugh at the snail story! Reminds me of some of the whoppers my dad used to tell me. Great page! Thanks for sharing and as Bob Hope used to say, "thanks for the memories"
Fab page and story behind it. I wonder if I can invent something that stops PVA glue clogging the nozzles. Might then be able to market it and retire to the countryside adopt retired greyhounds and art journal. ;-)
Mine looks like it has blood splatters all over it right now, so I took a break and watched your wonderful page and had to LOL when you said how too much red would look like blood. Oh well, I need to do some thinking and go from there. Thanks for sharing.
I would love to hear the story, would you show us the book if your Dad still has it......have you ever thought about trying to publish it. Love this video, it has given me several ideas. I’ve already done a version of the MI this month as a bottle, but don’t like it, so will have another go. I used to have some G45 steampunk papers but I gave them all away..............😂🙀😳
hi Mike. re: copper cardsock, I have the "Royal Metallics" item #46222 - Wausau Paper 65# I probably purchased from amazon. it has "King's Gold, Chalice Silver, White Gold and Castle Copper" really a nice paper
Mike, love the page, but I really got a kick out your frustration with glue and especially the Sticky foam tape!! I felt bad about you finding out about the snail when you got older, like finding out there was no Santa!!
This was great! I loved the inspiration you got from your father. Every time you look at this page, you'll remember his story. That is so wonderful!!

Mine looks like it has blood splatters all over it right now, so I took a break and watched your wonderful page and had to LOL when you said how too much red would look like blood. Oh well, I need to do some thinking and go from there. Thanks for sharing.
Watch Big Fish if you can find it. You (and your dad) will appreciate it. It is one of my favorite movies.
Another fabulous creation. I liked how the back looked as well. How does your dad feel about being immortalized like this? ;)
I would love to hear the story, would you show us the book if your Dad still has it......have you ever thought about trying to publish it. Love this video, it has given me several ideas. out - standing Mike TFS :)
LOL Just looking at the close up video at the end. That guy in right side of the "crew" picture. He could have been sitting on a large snail.
You might look for an old style hat pin and keep it in the hole of your gluue. Should help keep it open.
I'm pretty sure he kept that book, if he's anything like my dad 😊
Lovely page //Anette Pedersen
Found your copper card stock on Amazon and several other suppliesliers via Google search for copper card stock.
Love❤️
Mike, love the page, but I really got a kick out your frustration with glue and especially the Sticky foam tape!! I felt bad about you finding out about the snail when you got older, like finding out there was no Santa!!
Michael's has a 12 by 12 sheets of metallic copper paper.
Thank you XO
Welcome. Do you want me to send you a few?
Your Dad❤❤❤❤❤
