This was a very good video ,great explanation of what a QT tank should look like. I have same QT setup now my main concern is my new porcupine puffer. Seems they do ok as long as copper is ramped up slow, thanks for confirming!!!

Hi, thanks for that 😀 much appreciated. Hope all goes well with your qt. Yeah, I think that's the key on any delicate fish that can't tolerate copper very well is to use Copper Power and slowly ramp it up. Remember, the time countdown starts once you have reached the therapeutic level.
Obviously, do your research as some won't tolerate copper at all.
Good luck, and thanks for supporting my channel 😀

Hi, I left the DT for 90 days, although it went slightly over as I waited for the weekend 😀

    copper power says
is not necessary to treat at the maximum 2.5 ppm concentration, but a mimimum level of 1.5 ppm copper must be maintained to be effective. We recommend a starting range of 1.5 to 2.0 ppm copper for most treatment protocols, based on community experiences with copper treatment.
yours is way low its . xxxxx

Hi, I'm not sure what you're trying to say here as you've stated 'a recommended starting range of 1.5 to 2.0 ppm'. Once I had achieved therapeutic level (which took about a week), I was then always over 2.0 ppm for the entire 30 days. The only time mine was low was during the initial dosing of slowly getting up to 2.0 ppm, and that was because of the puffer fish.
