We have an amazing programme of exhibitions lined up at Wentworth Woodhouse. On 30th July, we open the Beneath the Surface: George Stubbs and Contemporary Artists exhibition, which runs until 3rd November 2024.
The exhibition features original works by George Stubbs alongside pieces by contemporary artists, including Tracey Emin, Ugo Rondinone, and Mark Wallinger.

This video forms part of the exhibition and was made in collaboration with Johnston Racing. It's an incredible success story, underpinned by an absolute love of horses.
In addition to the amazing works of art, the exhibition features videos, soundscapes and interviews with a range of professionals working with horses, including equine physiotherapists, current and retired jockeys, organisations who retrain retired racehorses for new careers and the Sheffield Group Riding for the Disabled.
