Thank you for making this video. I've studied this place for 20 years and never seen the place from these perspectives. How neat to see something new. I give you a Gold Star.
I was there for a wedding and the groom asked the estate staff if I could fly my drone and they said it was ok although they would prefer it if I didn’t fly over the house. Happy to do that.
There are a few reasons the house hasn't been cleaned. The cost is one. 😮. £££££££££££. The house is more than 300 years old, 400 in some parts and seen better days, so to clean the stone would likely damage it more. Besides this yes, Wentworth Woodhouse was quite literally built on coal and the wealth from the local coal mines on the estate, so the black dirt is a part of it's history and we love it. ❤ We don't want it cleaning 😊
Fabulous footage of this beautiful place 👍 wonderful 👌

Fantastic video and really nice music. What an amazing old place, love these old houses and the history behind them.
@@davidharle952 It’s being restored over the next thirty years - £100 million to be spent.
Great drone show nice choice of music
I've followed this house for years, now. Thank god the preservation society is now in control. We were close to losing it!
Yeh. It looks like the society has a good plan for the future but it's gonna cost a lot of money.
Wow!
It could do with a good clean. I know it is coal country, but no need to go around with a layer of it all over the place.
