This was my first inverting coaster! I rode it today, and it’s easily my new favorite roller coaster.

I heard that too when they were about to be dropped after the lift hill.
This park may only have like 5 or 6 coasters but it is a pretty fun park, better than waiting 2 hours for a 15 second ride. I'm talking about Kingda Ka, all bark but not so big of a bite.

Kingda ka is a short ride but it is amazing
I completly agree. One trick pony coaster that breaks down a lot versus stuff like well, Hydra that basically never breaks down, is long, and full of unique elements easily one of the best floorless coasters ever. Morgan hypers are also extremely underrated, better than intamin megacoasters in my opinion. Add in "Talon" and you have a strong top 3. I do wish they'd get a really nice gravity group or GCI coaster. The rest of the coasters are all solid/fun, though I am still salty about them removing Laser, especially for a five year now trashed coaster.
This was my first ever roller coaster and it is amazing the hangtime on that jojo roll is out of this world nice vid keep up the good work🎢🎢

@@vickicks1111 not at all. Supersonic oddessey at times Square Park in Malaysia has one, and Copperhead strike at carrowinds in Pennsylvania has one right out of the station just like this one.

i never rode this ride, but i will never forget this ride just based off the corkscrew straight out the gate lol Good way to set them apart, because even today, they are the only ones to do it lol

I’m being forced to go on this over the summer so I’m preparing myself
I have never ridden a roller coaster with a loop in it, but Hydra was the first I have ever rode with one! I’ll be honest, I was with a group of friends and they wanted to ride this once we first got to the park, I kinda jumped in line without thinking but I don’t regret it! I thought It was gonna be more scary, but it was more fun than I thought it would be! :-)
My friends pressured me to go on this and Talon. Hydra was the first one we went on as soon as we got in the park. I'm usually afraid to go on roller coasters with loops, but these two were a lot of fun.
So I take that first turn after the first drop is an incline Dive loop. So it goes like this incline dive loop, 2 zero g rolls left and right,Cobra roll,corkscrew and the famous JoJo Roll. So a total of 7!inversions.
Two weeks ago it broke down at the chainlift for 24mins.
Is this ride really scary? I ride Steel Force and have rode a couple of inverted coasters but the floorless seats get me nervous. I was here the other day and wanted to ride Hydra so bad but I chickened out. Hopefully, I’ll be back in October and conquer my fear. 😁

Is this a good coaster to start out with if u dont like upside down or have never tried it
Suggestions may differ amongst people, but I would suggest SooperDooperLooper at Hersheypark instead of this for people who have never ridden an upside-down roller coaster. Hydra has seven inversions of various types, while SDL (which is only about an hour away) has just one traditional loop that is traversed at a milder speed. Of course, this isn't to say that someone who's new to inversions can't jump directly on Hydra with both feet, but if one is scared about doing it rather than just being new at it, then something like SDL would be an easier option.

This ride doesn't have 7 inversions, it has 6. I counted like 4 times.
Jojo roll,dive loop,zero g roll,2 corkscrews,cobra roll (which is 2 inversions)=7 total
