Sexy Asf __________________________ maus is actually really good t X tank. and if you consider it bad well or you have never played it or dont know how to play it
The Maus really isn't a good tier 10, and yes I know how to play it. Even if you angle very well, everyone who you're fighting will just switch to skill rounds and pen your turret cheeks. The gun is crap, it's very slow, and it's an arty magnet.
vk has better dpm, slightly less pen but it has more mobility , better aimtime. turret armor is the same, most importantly back in the day i played it the tiger 2 was very easy to set on fire from the front, the Vk it didnt happen ( or atleast, not to me ) overal i just liked the mobility and the aim time allot better than the tiger 2, maybe if id play both of em now id like the tiger 2 more, i dont know. just my personal experience of both of em.
I discovered this fact after about a year of playing, and every tank I've researched since (The only non-arty tier 10 I don't have unlocked is the T110E3) as well as every premium I've bought has only further confirmed it for me. I can't be too sure, but I suspect light tanks with "scout" mm (+3/-3) might be an exception to this rule. Platoons as well, even if all players in the platoon are hitting battle with their selected tank for the first time (so unless it's tier 10, don't waste your first battle with a new tank in a platoon) Otherwise, it's as OP says.
Afaik It's not documented anywhere, I only happened to notice after playing a lot. As I said, once I did it only became more apparent with each new tank. I actually think it's really cool, it's a nice selling point for premiums and WG might as well admit that.
I really like how you laid out your thought process on strategy and positioning. Defending on this map is probably one of my most dreaded matches, thank you for the insight!
instead of selling us some new skins/camo for 350-500g per clour. they are selling us the same tank again for much more bucks. even after the new offer... this is stupide greedy shit
I'm buying a black skin for a tank so I won't be called a racist yaaaa! That's what I think when I see someone in the 'Black Friday' tanks It's the Internet idiot your still going to be called racist, I just feel sorry for the people that payed $200 for a F*CKING unoriginal skin!
you know that Black Friday does not refer to black people? Its was made to describe the "heavy and disruptive pedestrian and vehicle traffic that would occur on the day after Thanksgiving"...
apparently it was about businesses not redlining (profit loss) and being in the 'black' since they would reduce prices which would see a real rise in consumers buying. The same thing isn't seen by WG however as they are greedy fuicking russian arseholes who need to be eradicated and the game given to people who are fair and know how economic policies work - high prices, low consumers (in wg case, low but richer consumers which give false image of prosperity), low prices, high amount of consumers. greedy fucking cunts like wg don't know shit.
I think the amazing thing about this replay is that you made it to the hill in a T34. I can't recall a game I've played on that map in that mode where you went that route and barely ran into any enemies.
skankhunt42 they buffed the T34 and buffed the Lowe (1000HP and 150my front plate), the 112 (tweak to the armour) the Patton Kr (identical to the regular one), and the French's heavies (gun depression). it's on the 9.17 news today
Well, I think I'll leave WG. Now this can pen my KV4 anywhere. They were pain in ..., now they become more troublesome. 2nd tier, here I come - no MM bulshit I can't overcome, and only +1 tier OP bastards can shoot at me.
or i got my T34 and the first 5 games were 2 tier 9 and 3 tier 10 games oh btw my luck is terrible i won 5 games out of 21 today which made me quit for today because got really frustrated
Yes, they give you preferential matchmaking for the first game you play in ANY tank. Not just premium. You're always top tier in a tank you've never played before.
Abdul Masaiev I have suspected for some time that preferential match making is applied for the first game in any tank. Usually you are placed top tier in the first game too.
QuickyBaby great review not to long ago of the t34! But next patch these are the buffs to the t34: -view range to 380 from 360 -aim time from 3.4 to 3.2 -gun dispersion values for moving, hull traverse and turret traverse from 0.32 to 0.28 furthermore gun depression buffs to the french autoloaders
To anyone wondering about the "first game" phenomenon: Yes, matchmaker always tries to make your first match in any tank one where you're top tier. This can easily be tested on the CT servers by queuing in a new tank of a tier that isn't popular at the time. Since everyone on the CT is usually playing tier 10, fire up a few new tier 8s and matchmaker will always try to put you in a match where you're top tier. This isn't always the case, however, because after about 2 minutes, matchmaker may choose to revert your queue to a normal one. I have suspicion that if you sell and re-buy a tank, MM may give you this same treatment, but I can't confirm this, just something odd I've noticed while playing games on the normal server.
I remember the t9 T34, it was such a great tank. It was incredibly fast, nimble and had a really awesome reload time, since it only came with 400 alpha dmg. The gun was performing better than the top M103's gun, methinkgs
the tank has just been buffed on the test server: improved gun handling mostly, turret rotation and wiewrange (380m). Same has happened to the Lowe which now has 1000HP and an increased front armour of 150mm compared to the recently announced 130mm. The t46 Patton Kr has now the same armour stats of the regular Patton.
QB what's your opinion on the soon to be buffed amx 50 120 and 50b? More gun depression! Furthermore the T34 is getting some love with aim time, dispersion and view range! I'm a happy egg for sure
Still nice to see them trying to adress the powercreep and make the T34 more competitive. Also depending on playstyle people might actually prefer a buffed patriot. A lot of people really value alpha since DPM becomes much less relevant in poking situations.
WarGaming totally made it so you get a good matchup every time you play a new tank. The first 2 games I played in the Obj. 263 both had 4 total tier ten tanks and a bunch of tier 8s. The 2nd game was on Himmelsdorf against 11 tier 8 tanks where I proceeded to do 9,500 damage and get a Radley-Walters.
One reason for the T34: you get to train both loaders of a US tank crew at the same time, as opposed to the T26E5 Patriot. I wouldn't call that reason enough to buy it in its current state though. But since I already have one, I'm eager to see how it'll do after the next patch.
Hey QB, I don't know if you knew, but the T34 is getting buffed in 9.17. The view range is being increased to 380 meters, and the dispersion and aim time are getting slight buffs. On another note, I would like to explain why I far prefer the T34 over the Patriot. I just really enjoy the alpha damage and penetration of the gun. I almost have a 3-skill crew in my T34, including BIA and Snapshot. I also have a GLD + Rammer + Vents, and the combination of all of this makes the T34's gun amazing. The aiming time still sucks, but I have the reload down to 12.38 seconds, and honestly, the accuracy really doesn't feel that bad. I'd say I pull off about 80% of the snapshots I make, and combined with the amazing penetration, the T34 is my favorite premium tank, and most played tank in WoT.
This thing is currently my most played at 560+ games and if you know what you're doing, this is probably one of the best premiums in the game. It's REAL easy to do 2k+ damage and thats pretty much the bingo threshold for credit making in it. Carrying games is also a nice benefit.
the deal with the T26E5 is that it's not really a heavy tank. it's an up armored medium tank. it's using the same gun that the KR uses, it's got the same engine as the Pershing with more weight, obviously it would take the base stats over the T34. the T34 plays more like a heavy and the T26E5 plays like a medium/heavy. it would be like comparing the T26E4 to the M46 KR
Yeah, but I kept T32 around in my garage to play as the 'fun' and good T8 heavy. With the Patriot, there is absolutely no reason to play it, as T32 is worse in literally every way...
These idiotic deals are not required purchases, and these idiotic deals also help fund this game to keep in free-to-play. I like the black dog, not a fan of the T34 B. Would I like it if you could just purchase an all black camo to apply to existing tanks...absolutely. But until then we just have to make purchase decisions for ourselves and not crap on others for purchasing stuff (which in turn keeps the game alive).
Yes, I hope WG floods the servers by making a black variant of every tank in the game. After that they could start selling tanks that are different colour like blue and pink. The realistic tanks with flags on them are also super cool!
I haven't enjoyed playing my T34, since it became a premium tank. Huge, slow, slow-firing. Only really works, if you can go hull-down, and if you're not, all the enemy team sees is a big, fat XP and credit-piñata, due to the incredibly weak hull armor even when angled. I do admit however, that the alpha damage has sometimes worked well as a deterrent, but the T34 is just not a tank I'd choose over almost anything else.
You are always top tier the first game you play in any tank and get "preferential" matchmaking for the next 9 games (you can still be bottom tier though), depending on how long the matchmaker takes to get you a game. So yes QB, you did get good matchmaking because it was your first game in the T34B
There still is a reason to buy the T34. If you mostly play on night time on the EU servers, you (or at least I) get the most horrible matchmakings pretty much 98% of the times. Which means about half of the enemies are tier 10 and several 9 and only a little drop of tier 8 tanks. The gun of a tier 8 TD is much better performing than a ~230mm APCR gun with only 29mm overmatch ability. I mean, 248mm pen. is literally 2mm less than a Maus. If a Maus can deal damage without 100% APCRing his way in the match, a T34 can do it, too. Damn, can't wait for 9.17 M4A1 getting a nuclear buff, Löwe getting some actual speed and gun depression and armor, T34 also getting buffed in gun handling and view range, WZ-111 getting the most accurate short 122mm gun on any tank with also better speed and armor. And the Superpershing, which I unfortunately sold back then, getting 192mm AP pen! Wargaming is actually improving, it's like seeing your own child becoming more mature and self-supplying. Except for the extreme russian bias which will most likely never go away from this game.
WG obviously introduced the patriot to devalue the T34 since pretty much all older player have one and often use it to farm money. WG doesn't like to touch premium vehicles once they released them after all. And this makes the "Black Edition" and even bigger joke than it already is. Fully agreed with you on the review of the T34B already.
I dunno QB, I've been able to ammo rack quite a few Patriots in my T34 B....The sell out that I am, I'm not a fan of the T26E5 as I normally get into the "Fun" Tier 10 battles...I like the Turret armor and 400 damage.
its kind of bullshit how both the T34 and T26E5 - PATRIOT are more or less BETTER than the T32 they really should give the T32 like 210 pen or 215 by just doing that it would make the tank so much better
The T32 have the worse turret for me. OFC the T32 have more armor in the sides of the turret and in the front but that huge cupola near the front pretty much kills it. The T34 and the T29 have the cupola in the back, and is hard to hit, even more if you are in a hill. The cupola in the T32 is easy target. The T34 is powerful but the front hull is the same as the T29, when you fight against a T34, you know how to kill and how to avoid getting killed. Meanwhile the Patriot is just broken. Even the weakpoint in the hull (machinegun) have huge armor and the cupola is more armored. If you are in a T32 or T29 and fight against a T26E5, you're dead. The T32 is just a smaller T29 with a easier to hit weakpoint. T26E5 have all the T32 pros + the T34 pen.
Whenever I play in my Tiger 2 against the T26E5 vs. the T26E5, its easy to shoot the front plate and penetrate him there. The T32 really just doesn't seem great as an overall tank vs. a lot of its competitors, unless it got hull-down.
Something to note on the t34B: its base concealment value is slightly (believe the difference is equal to mounting a camo) better than an unmodified t34, but it cannot mount camo paints.
I strongly believe WG does give you highly advantageous MM for when you first purchase a premium tank. I experienced this with my CDC and my older Type 64, like the MM had me top tier in the CDC with nothing but muppets on the enemy team (my the first and only time my CDC bounced so many shots) and as for my Type 64 I was placed in Prokorvka and lets just say not even half the tanks in that battle had enough view range to spot my light tank at max spotting distance.
The tier8 premiums are not cheap. I can buy a full game on steam with that money, for example a GTAV or Witcher3 I am obviously expecting more then just a reskin. Had the T34 for many years and is just so disspointed :( Is power creeping and selling the same tank over and over with new skin all you can do WG? You know, how about giving those loyal customers the option to change their T34 into a T34-B in their garage for free? Its just simply a paint job
The T34 is very underpower when compered to the Patriot so I think it needs some heavy modernization, at least so it can compete with the newer premiums. Bring it's aim time down to 2.9 and it reload to 4.7 rounds per minute, that's just my suggestion for a buff.
The T34 is going to get some love in the next patch, in 9.17! The view range is going to be 20m better, the aim time is going down from 3.4 sec to 3.2 sec and the despersion values are going to be decreased from 0.32 to 0.28, both when moving the hull and rotating the turrent. Link ~ worldoftanks.com/en/news/pc-browser/17/917-common-test/
That's not enough, it will still struggle to get to the frontlines in time. Plus the buffed stats offer no real benefit ... view range buff is nice but the gun stats are still horrible. In its current state (slow and sluggish with low DPM) it's just not competitive
I feel it needs more buffs than that to compete with the Patriot. Like 400m view range, 1800-1900 base DPM (and buff the Lowe's DPM for it to compete), .24 dispersion on hull traverse and movement, .16 dispersion on turret traverse, and better hull and turret traverse speeds.
Yeah... Well atleast it's something guys... It's indeed a sluggish tank with really low DPM but like quickybaby said, it's a ritch line warrior, and if you use in that way like quickybaby it still can be and should be a reasonably competitive tank.
+QuickyBaby You get preferential matching if this was your first game of the day or this was a random match I tend to only see the same tier of the tank im playing when its the first match of the day for whatever multiplier is going on. I think this is something wargaming is now doing im not sure but it has been happening to me quite often hope this helped.
I'm glad you got a new tank to play with but Jesper deserves a slap. If people pay all that money to buy this tank when you can buy the T34 and just get an aftermarket skin mod for their own client, this just plays into WG's hands.
It's not just premium tanks, QB - all tanks are top tier their first match. I started playing in 8.5 and there's only been once when I wasn't, but I play on the smaller of the NA servers so it might have been a case of MM being in dire straits because of a tiny queue to choose from and I think it was a gift tank, so meh. (And because I knew it would be top tier, I actually used the 2pdr autoloader for my first game with the AT-7 - it was fun! :D
The poor T34 is a shadow of its tier IX self. Sure, I'm probably one of like twelve people who liked it back then, but it was a beast in the right hands.
quickybaby, t34 was my very first premium tank that i bought and it has served me well over several years. dinosaur of the battlefield it may be, but no t26e5 has managed to kill it yet :D
_Noob:_ "Which premium tank am i going to buy?" _WG:_ "Look the t34 has 400 dmg!" _Noob:_ "WOW amazing! must be the best tank ever!" _WG:_ "Yeah its the best." (holding money in hand while laughing uncontrollably)
Wargaming has actually confirmed that they try to put tanks into lower tiered games for the first game in the vehicle, this seems to hold for both regular and non-premium vehicles, though it's not a hard limit like it is for Preferential or Limited Matchmaking tanks.
The patriot has basically power creeped ever tier 8 premium heavy. Has pretty decent hull armor, great turret armor=gun depression to go with its amazing gun (even with the low alpha)
I love both my T-34 and T26E5, they're both fantastic tanks that are capable of dealing with anything that comes at them. Yes, the T26E5 is a much better tank but I still love my T-34. Yes, it's slow, horrible aim time, shit dispersion, nasty turret traverse, less armour, poor view range and has the same gun depression as the T26E5 BUT despite this, it's still more than capable of tanking any tank that comes at it. You come up against this thing hull down, good luck. It has 290mm of turret It can sit there all day. If you get caught out of hull down though, because of those horrible aspects of the T-34, that's when you get punished. You will easily be flanked and torn apart. That's when the T-34 falls to pieces. The T26E5 isn't as strong as the T-34 in a hull down position but with it's high dpm and still brilliant turret armour it's still deadly there. It does however fair far better off than the T-34 if it's caught out of position, ie, not hull down. The T26E5 is far more foriving, imo, than the T-34 because of this. I would definitely recommend the T26E5 over the T-34 but they are still both fantastic tanks and you'll have a blast with either. Which is why I still play both of mine. I'm just loving the hull down play style of American HT's atm, its so rewarding hahaha. Great video QB, looking forward to the next!
QuickyBaby, there is no enemy base circle in this battle. The idea is to *defend* here, not attack. Defense is a lot easier than offense. I'm very surprised you're all the way over on other side of the map while you're base is under attack.
Almost a year later and I just got one of these from a Thanksgiving marathon event absolutely free. I feel sorry for the poor saps who paid an arm and a leg for this thing. All that aside, Quicky says it is completely out-classed by the Patriot, and doesn't know why anyone would take a T34 over that tank. But it does have 3 advantages over the Patriot that can be very important. First, while the Patriot has more DPM, it only has a tiny bit over half the alpha a T34 has. You have to pop out and spend more face-time with the enemy to make that DPM work, so you spend extended time at risk of being spotted and shot in the face. Second, the Patriot has better hull armor, but the T34 has a well sloped and massively armored turret, with a hell of a lot (Nearly 100) more armor than the Patriot has. Even a lot of tier 10 tanks slinging gold are going to bounce off this thing if it's hull down. Thirdly and finally, The T34 has a lot more pen. Things the Patriot can't pen without gold the T34 can butter right through with standard AP, and things the Patriot can't pen WITH gold the T34 can with it's prem ammo. Good luck fighting a Type 5 heavy with a Patriot (Unless you can flank him after your team has killed off all his friends, in which case the game is already over anyway.). So yeah, you want mobility go with the Patriot. You want armor and firepower, go with the T34 and remember to play it hull down. The Patriot certainly doesn't make the T34 obsolete.
I'm pretty sure you get favorable MM in your first battle on ANY tank. Or at least that used to be the case ~1 - 2 years ago when i was playing. Unless you're in a platoon.
About "prefferencial matchmaking", whenever I buy a new (especially premium) vehicle, I feel like my first games are very, very easy and I usually get very good stats (as far as I'm not doing some really horribly painful stock grind). And then it becomes much, much harder and I usually get even my ass kicked a few times before I manage to somehow pick up "OK, this vehicle might be not that OP as I thought". It may be caused by fact that I was playing simly more careful in the first games, but I don't really think so (that much).
About a year ago I bought the T34!! Yes it's slow a hell, has very bad dispersion, and aim time, and hull armor, and turret traverse, and load time, and gets T10 MM, BUT if you you play decent enough, even if you lose the match you still make money!! This is the onlçy reason why I bought it. If you can find a good hull down position only arty and T9 and above can hurt you! This tank needs a little love with the Patriot arrival!! Either give it less dispersion (main problem IMO), less aim time OR give it only T9 MM!!
T34 is getting buffed a bit, gun dispersion, aim time and view range. Also fundamentally an average player is going to do better with 400 alpha than he is with 240 alpha, especially on a heavy tank. Plus 248 AP on a 120mm (meaning more overmatch) is much better than 230 APCR on a 90mm, APCR gets less normalisation so 230 APCR is more like 220 AP, so it's like the Tiger 2 pen compared to T34 pen, T34 really has a TD level gun for tier 8. That makes it a very reliable damage dealer that needs low exposure to do that damage.
If I were in the market for a T34 during Black Friday, I would have bought the black version. Got to admit it looks great! But, I can't stand slow tanks so I'd never consider buying either version. I bought the vanilla Patriot instead, it fits my style much better.
QB, I have been playing my T26E5 since the release and I truly feel that it is not OP as you mentioned here. Maybe it is just because of the match making I have been getting but on average 80-90% of my battles have been in T9 and T10 matches and I am continuously bouncing standard rounds and have my armor over matched. Maybe it is the way that I play, but I can definitely boast about the maneuverability and view range is superior compared to the T34.
You said you wouldn't comment on power creep in this video, but I think a lot of us would be interested in your views on the general direction of the game.
it's funny you mention that "first game preferential treatment". I've long wondered. case in point when I way back first bought my IS6 my first day games were fantastic. i was a rock star. I was heck on wheels. then after that I sucked. More recently I bought the Patriot. same thing, first day I had awesome teams, I could literally do no wrong, all my shots penned, all the hits I took bounced. then? since then I've suffered "Immediate Team Collapse Disorder", every hit I take goes clean though my tank and my shells bounce. I don't know but it seems kinda suspicious like you said, maybe you get a little bump as a reward in your first few games then after that the magic spell disappears and you turn back into a pumpk- er, potato...
Hi quicky:) i just want to say i have honor to play with you today:) i was on t57 heavy you play on m103 the last shot was from you. You killed me Thank you Sir:))
@Quickybaby the first match you play in a new tank (premium or not) on your account will always be placed top tier in its first match, unless of course they changed that policy.
Hey QB I think I can speak for all of the t34 drivers here when I say that we don't care about how it stacks up to the t26 it is still one of my favorite tanks in the game bar none
thanks quickybaby. that was awesome. do you recommend the t34 or is6 im not sure what to get because i need money to move on to getting my t57 heavy. please help. also when will be at the tank meuseum in bovington because i know you go at tankfest but do you go at any other times.. PLEASE reply. you are my favourite youtube and ive been following you since i was 9. so 3 years.
It was nice to see they offered it on discount by itself (perhaps due to your video?), but frankly since I own a T34 I don't see the point. As to power creep, I'm still very happy with my T34. For me a heavy tank needs pen and alpha damage, high dpm is irrelevant if you just keep popping out and trading shots.
if no ones been to the Prem shop since. The T34 B is still for sale but they are selling it solo and a package deal with.... ANOTHER T34?! I a so lost now I don't even know what is going on anymore. But hey at least the T34 B by itself costs the same as the regular T34.
dear lords of wargaming......please buff the t34.....mayby with some rockets on the back or some lasers.....thanks you.
ramon alders next patch it is getting buffed
this fucking pisses me off, they should fucking buff the maus. it's officialy the worst tier x in the game
Sexy Asf __________________________ maus is actually really good t X tank. and if you consider it bad well or you have never played it or dont know how to play it
Sexy Asf __________________________
its getting buffed
25 percent better DPM and better overall gunstats! :)
The Maus really isn't a good tier 10, and yes I know how to play it. Even if you angle very well, everyone who you're fighting will just switch to skill rounds and pen your turret cheeks. The gun is crap, it's very slow, and it's an arty magnet.
...Meanwhile here I am with my Tiger II that gets outclassed by every other heavy...
Is it worth to get thru it just for E75 and E100?
Yes, Grucos, lol
i liked the vk allot better actually, mobility and so on.
vk has better dpm, slightly less pen but it has more mobility
, better aimtime. turret armor is the same, most importantly back in the day i played it the tiger 2 was very easy to set on fire from the front, the Vk it didnt happen ( or atleast, not to me ) overal i just liked the mobility and the aim time allot better than the tiger 2, maybe if id play both of em now id like the tiger 2 more, i dont know. just my personal experience of both of em.
RHGames...I don't think so. I was fairly successful in my VK 4502 A. Better than the Tiger II.
Hi QB,ive stopped playing world of tanks for nearly 5 months now,but i still enjoy your videos =) keep up the good work, you're awesome!
Dante Perez same
Dante Perez ive watched him for few years but havent even loaded this game :P i love the streams and videos but i would lose my sanity playing this
I won't play wot till I get a new computer, cuz my pc is a potatoe
I haven't played wot 1 year
haven't played in 2 years :]
Actually yeah, you do get pref. mm in the first battle you play in any tank no matter if it is a premium tank or not
MargoťákTV First time I played an M5A1 Stuart, I met Tier 7 T_T
I discovered this fact after about a year of playing, and every tank I've researched since (The only non-arty tier 10 I don't have unlocked is the T110E3) as well as every premium I've bought has only further confirmed it for me. I can't be too sure, but I suspect light tanks with "scout" mm (+3/-3) might be an exception to this rule. Platoons as well, even if all players in the platoon are hitting battle with their selected tank for the first time (so unless it's tier 10, don't waste your first battle with a new tank in a platoon) Otherwise, it's as OP says.
MargoťákTV you do? Source plz
Afaik It's not documented anywhere, I only happened to notice after playing a lot. As I said, once I did it only became more apparent with each new tank. I actually think it's really cool, it's a nice selling point for premiums and WG might as well admit that.
Then you were platooning. If you play solo you will always get the best possible matchmaking in the first game.
I still love my T34, regardless of the new Patriot.
MiezeMatze666 I'd like it better if WG will just give us a custom camo spot instead of selling the same tank with a different camo xD
I'm buying a black skin for a tank so I won't be called a racist yaaaa!
That's what I think when I see someone in the 'Black Friday' tanks
It's the Internet idiot your still going to be called racist, I just feel sorry for the people that payed $200 for a F*CKING unoriginal skin!
you know that Black Friday does not refer to black people?
You people rage and yet wg still makes millions XD
I think the amazing thing about this replay is that you made it to the hill in a T34. I can't recall a game I've played on that map in that mode where you went that route and barely ran into any enemies.
NinjaMonkeyPrime then you slow asf
T34 now has about 30% better aim and 380 m view range on the test serve tho
check the news feed on the website theres a few tanks being buffed like the super pershing is getting 192m pen
skankhunt42 they buffed the T34 and buffed the Lowe (1000HP and 150my front plate), the 112 (tweak to the armour) the Patton Kr (identical to the regular one), and the French's heavies (gun depression). it's on the 9.17 news today
Well, I think I'll leave WG. Now this can pen my KV4 anywhere. They were pain in ..., now they become more troublesome. 2nd tier, here I come - no MM bulshit I can't overcome, and only +1 tier OP bastards can shoot at me.
This is awesome. QB must be psychic.
The first match in ANY tank will always be preferential. :)
or i got my T34 and the first 5 games were 2 tier 9 and 3 tier 10 games
oh btw my luck is terrible
i won 5 games out of 21 today
which made me quit for today because got really frustrated
Yes, they give you preferential matchmaking for the first game you play in ANY tank. Not just premium. You're always top tier in a tank you've never played before.
Abdul Masaiev I have suspected for some time that preferential match making is applied for the first game in any tank. Usually you are placed top tier in the first game too.
QuickyBaby
great review not to long ago of the t34!
But next patch these are the buffs to the t34:
-view range to 380 from 360
-aim time from 3.4 to 3.2
-gun dispersion values for moving, hull traverse and turret traverse from 0.32 to 0.28
furthermore gun depression buffs to the french autoloaders
Excellente review. All aspects are here: vehicle ones; map strategy and the vehicle hole on it.
You was honest in all aspects about the vehicle.
To anyone wondering about the "first game" phenomenon:
Yes, matchmaker always tries to make your first match in any tank one where you're top tier.
This is correct, however, rebuying the tank does not reset this advantage.
Hans Zimmerman Just an odd coincidence, then, thanks for letting me know.
Matthew Waddington patriot still better😂
Still nice to see them trying to adress the powercreep and make the T34 more competitive. Also depending on playstyle people might actually prefer a buffed patriot. A lot of people really value alpha since DPM becomes much less relevant in poking situations.
and the 10 degrees of gundepression of the m4a1 and aimtime
WG should buff The maus
Sexy Asf __________________________
they do!!
Maus is getting 25 percent more dpm and better Gunstats in general!
I just bought this tank last night. It was 50 cents more then the regular T34. Its great really, pulls in credits nicely
One reason for the T34: you get to train both loaders of a US tank crew at the same time, as opposed to the T26E5 Patriot.
I wouldn't call that reason enough to buy it in its current state though. But since I already have one, I'm eager to see how it'll do after the next patch.
QB your timing is exceptional. Just yesterday they announced both a buff to T34 and reparations for folks who had bought a T34B.
Take a drink every time qb says "T-34"
Mitchel Mahar Today on 9 News: Man dies from alcohol poisoning after taking internet challenge. More at 11.
Back to you James
Let's face it, Patriot makes the following tanks obsolete: Pershing, Patton KR, Super Pershing (even with a buff and preferential MM), T32 and T34.
JaneCobbsHat Actually a premium can't make a standard vehicle obsolete, as they are used to advance to higher tiers.
JaneCobbsHat Regardless, the Patton KR, the SuperPershing, and the T34 will always hold a special place in my heart.
Yeah, but I kept T32 around in my garage to play as the 'fun' and good T8 heavy. With the Patriot, there is absolutely no reason to play it, as T32 is worse in literally every way...
Alpha. but yeah, I sold my T32 after picking up the Trump
I have always been sad about the T32's penetration.
I want more black tanks, The T34 B and the M41 90mm look really good!
+CombaTM8 And? They are a business and they are earning money so why fix it when it is working as intended?
And now there is the IS-6 in black.
Wonder what else Wargaming are going to just make Black...
Lol QB you didn't miss the Hummel he absorbed it! Your commander says "critical hit" XD
the reason to play an American T34 is for the 6 man tanks in the American heavy tank line. T29, T32, M103 all use same crew size.
Gifted during a live stream, that's pretty cool. Would have been neat to have that included with the video, to see your reaction if nothing else.
The game always gives you top tier for the first game of any tank model.
I love the epic fail-platoon on the other team.
The T34 has been vastly improved by the HD model reworking. It's a beast now when it's top tier.
its kind of bullshit how both the T34 and T26E5 - PATRIOT are more or less BETTER than the T32 they really should give the T32 like 210 pen or 215 by just doing that it would make the tank so much better
Matthew Sowers to be fair, t32 still has a much better turret. Its penetration is still lame tho
Even if it goes hull down it has terrible pen and accuracy o its gun
I grinded over T32 to get to M103. T32 is a terrible tank. Kept my t29 and will never sell it.
I can buy a full game on steam with that money, for example a GTAV or Witcher3
I am obviously expecting more then just a reskin.

WTH?! I ain't seen this post on the website...
Aaron van Wattum Even when hulldown, it's still only a *bit* above average. It can be flanked and overwhelmed so easily due to the poor DPM.
+QuickyBaby You get preferential matching if this was your first game of the day or this was a random match I tend to only see the same tier of the tank im playing when its the first match of the day for whatever multiplier is going on. I think this is something wargaming is now doing im not sure but it has been happening to me quite often hope this helped.
i say the T26E5 is the MegaPershing
Gurke PlayZz Nah, it's the Mini E5
I just call it the E5 Pershing.
I'm glad you got a new tank to play with but Jesper deserves a slap. If people pay all that money to buy this tank when you can buy the T34 and just get an aftermarket skin mod for their own client, this just plays into WG's hands.
the cammo rating on the black edition is different.
That's been confirmed as a bug in the UI. Gameplaywise they are actually the same.
Archoncommando QB tested it on the test sever, it actually has ~1-2% less base camo than the og. Not sure if it is fixed or not or intended that way.
The black paint work as camouflage. So a normal T34 with camouflage painted on it the ratings are the same.
T34 without camo got less.
AcedFox yeah, but tbh, anyone who can afford a premium tank could easily buy some extras. Not all, but most of them buy camo along with the tank.
You will be top tier for the first battle you play in any tank QB (unless you're platooning). It's actually a part of mm
_Noob:_ "Which premium tank am i going to buy?"
_WG:_ "Look the t34 has 400 dmg!"
_Noob:_ "WOW amazing! must be the best tank ever!"
_WG:_ "Yeah its the best." (holding money in hand while laughing uncontrollably)
Love the map analysis.
Much more entertaining than Jingles.
You are always top tier when you play your first battle in any tank.
My experience is that if you play first time with a tank (does not matter premium or normal tank) you are the topmost tank. At the first game always.
They're buffing the tank.
Boosting view range and buffing gun handling.
HA! I saw you were driving this tank and I was disappointed that you bought it. Thank god you got it as a gift!
When you're watching the video 1 minute after it's uploaded
About a year ago I bought the T34!! Yes it's slow a hell, has very bad dispersion, and aim time, and hull armor, and turret traverse, and load time, and gets T10 MM, BUT if you you play decent enough, even if you lose the match you still make money!! This is the onlçy reason why I bought it. If you can find a good hull down position only arty and T9 and above can hurt you! This tank needs a little love with the Patriot arrival!! Either give it less dispersion (main problem IMO), less aim time OR give it only T9 MM!!
Have you seen the buffs it gets in the second iteration of the test sever? Looks really good.
Haven't seen it!! Haven't played much WoT!! There's a new test server??
CasualGamerPT Same old test server, new 9.17 update part two.
So, in the new test there as buffs to the regular T-34?? Have to check that out!! Thx
Even though the patriot is better in basically every way the t34 well always have a place in my garage
I bought the vanilla Patriot instead, it fits my style much better.
that special MM for your first game is not only for premiums but for all tanks. except light tanks
Nice vid QB. Not interested in either tank, so I'll just keep playing my T14.
Maybe it is the way that I play, but I can definitely boast about the maneuverability and view range is superior compared to the T34.
has anyone else experienced upwards match making while playing T26E5 frequency greater than %80?
Your first game in a new tank premium or non is top tier
You said you wouldn't comment on power creep in this video, but I think a lot of us would be interested in your views on the general direction of the game.
You can definitely see the NA players in the comments...
...Elaborate? I can't see it.
muh racism
My name Nothing racist about what he said... He's just a moron
when you play a new tank, you are always top-tier - even in non premium tanks
Can't wait for the line of videos QB !
It's on every tank (not only prem) that you are top tier (light tanks +1 tier) when you play you first game in it.
it's funny you mention that "first game preferential treatment".
QB how do you think the 9.17 new richochet mechanics will effect the T34's top of the turret overmatch problem?
WG postponed the new overmatching mechanics so the same rule will still be in effect in the game
It also could have something to do with the fact that QB is a super unicorn! But well played regardless
12:30 I like how he has more premium tanks than regular tanks.
LOL
SmartRaz 13 premium tanks and 12 normal tanks. dem
Did you notice that was just the top part of the list? He has loads of regular tanks.
he's unlocked every single tier 10 in the game other than the new swedish ones soon to come boi. you can't be serious
Quickybaby have you looked at what they are doing now? They now have a IS-6 B with the exact same advertisement as the T34 B.
You always get top tier on the first game with any tank.
yeah i bought the t26e5 its a really good tank plus its the cutest heavy tank in all of world of tanks! poor ol rnged t34
@Quickybaby the first match you play in a new tank (premium or not) on your account will always be placed top tier in its first match, unless of course they changed that policy.
what do you think about the T34 in comparison to the patriot after the buff in 9.17?
Hey QB I think I can speak for all of the t34 drivers here when I say that we don't care about how it stacks up to the t26 it is still one of my favorite tanks in the game bar none
Yes, every first game with a new tank you buy (premium or non premium) always gives you a top tier match. Standard game rule.
5:25 What is Coler? :D
he was saying Cola, a premium consumable for american tanks
Striker 1015 Lol I know. I was joking.
Drew Zaio ok lol
Doing a series on how to use tanks that have suffered from POWER CREEP would be good I think?
Well, if you have both tanks, than, the Patriot is better, but give some love to the T34, for the good old days
thanks quickybaby. that was awesome. do you recommend the t34 or is6 im not sure what to get because i need money to move on to getting my t57 heavy. please help. also when will be at the tank meuseum in bovington because i know you go at tankfest but do you go at any other times..
Well, you can still buy a regular T34 for gold, and there are several ways of earning gold. You can buy a Patriot only for real money.
if no ones been to the Prem shop since. The T34 B is still for sale but they are selling it solo and a package deal with.... ANOTHER T34?! I a so lost now I don't even know what is going on anymore. But hey at least the T34 B by itself costs the same as the regular T34.
Can't wait for milky to bring out the skin for the normal T34
