Is it planned, for the interior wooden mould, to remain inside once the boat gets finished ?

How do you avoid old seams melting when you solder on a new part?
or is the whole hull a big enough heat sink that that just doesn't happen?

I just work on small sections, sometimes I use a screwdriver to keep the parts together and yes, the hull is sinking a part of the heat
