Thanks Buddy for the great video. Didn't knew about all that stuff. I loved the Sound of the Marimba. So peaceful. Have a great time. Greetings from Germany
Heya...I’d love to know your opinion on protecting your hands as a hand drummer? Any tips to play outdoor in the winter? And how to deal with hand pain etc? Thank you for your videos.
Hi Iva, thanks for your comment. Have a look in this video by Kalani from @worldclubpercussion - ruclips.net/video/kNmRADMHcZA/видео.html It might help you
So the stomp box , I would connect it to a mixer? I have my first show in late Feb/2021. I’m playing congas/cajon etc for an acoustic group of guitarist (ukulele, acoustic&electricguitar) &singer and that’s it. Just 3 of us. I want to add foot tambourine/hand cymbals etc. We play mostly rock ballads like Zombie by Cranberries, Rodeo Clowns by Jack Johnson , and Wild Horse by The Sunday’s . Ocasional hip hop like Red Bone by childish gambino or leftovers by Dennis Lloyd. I currently have congas/cajon/el sabor AA crash Sabian//foot tambourine . This group wants acoustic style with no drums. My question is, what’s my best set up with including chimes. Do you have a pic or multiple pics of an example for a set up that I can follow? Please advise. ❤️
Hi Ana, thanks for you msg. The analog stomp box is great to add to your set. You can simply connect to a mixer and you will have the bass sound. its very sensitive and you'll get used to it quickly. I think it would be great to mix Cajon/Stomp/foot tamborine and the crash cymbal with you hand or use a rodstick/brushes with your right hand to play the cymbals, in this way you'll have a hybrid drumset :) Try it and let me know. This would be my pic but I suggest you try more combinations, until you feel confortable ;) have fun!
Thanks for your comment. Glad you liked it 🙏 I don’t think the stomp box would work with the mini speaker. The stomp box is made to use with a sound system or an amp.
Good evening Mr cajon master I wish this coming Christmas's day I'm so very happy if I have a cajon or travel cajon that's my wish thank you very much godbless❤️❤️❤️

Love your video! Have you tried the Meinl Snare Tap? How would it compare with the Meinl Travel Cajon?
Any way great bosss... Love from India 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
What do you think about toppa face adjustment screws
Such a helpful video. Thanks for creating!
Glad it was helpful! cheers
Great video!. Do the Meinl Face shakers sound different depending on the face or they sound all the same?
Hi, thanks! They have all pretty much the same sound
Have you ever found something to attach to the feet or heel to play a snare sound or clap ?
Yes i did! check the video - ruclips.net/video/RKlBlz1unQg/видео.html
I would love to get the stomp for my dad… but what amp should I get?
Any keyboard amp would do the job. Also the S1 from Bose is a good option.

Thanks for the excellent information it's a great video! Can the stomp box be used with the mini cajon speaker?

@@CajonMaster Got it. Thanks for your response! Love your content and seeing all the different gear!
What's the best thing I can get to replicate a hi-hat sound, other than an actual hi-hat ?
A heckstick or a cabassa. you can find both available as a add on for cajon ;)
Great video
Thanks 🙏
What brushes do you use on Meinl travel cajon?
Any type! I suggest you to start
With the nylon Brushes 😉
