If there's one thing Animes have taught me, is to wait and see what those characters who switch sides for apparently no good reason, actually have in mind. Kuzan told Smoker, "it's still me, I haven't changed" and I believe him. He might not be the biggest fan of the way Navy do things, but he hasn't betrayed them. He knows they're not the bad guys and have nothing to do with the WG's doings. He even told Smoker what to tell Akainu about Doffy, meaning he DID WORRY about the Navy's future. Why would he care if he was their enemy? And those of you who think he's now become a bad guy, please be reasonable... The whole reason he has problem with the marines is for the fact that they aren't as good as they claim they are. In his eyes, their justice is fake. Why would he then go to an even worse organization where they don't even claim to be good guys and are obviously evil? This is like the basics of character writing lmao. Kuzan's now a pirate to live the way he wants, meaning there's something he wants that can only be achived by being a BB pirate.
