Dennis Wolf, now slimmed down, talks about how he hated to eat food - especially in the quantities required for bodybuilding.
Dennis Wolf is an iconic former pro bodybuilder and was also one of the featured stars of the original Generation Iron. Unfortunately, in 2016 he suffered a spinal injury required surgery and put him out of commission. He attempted a comeback in 2018 but ultimately he had to retire from the sport. Since then, Wolf has trimmed down and started focusing on entrepreneurial pursuits. In our latest GI Exclusive, Dennis Wolf talks about his current diet and how he hated to eat like a mass monster bodybuilder.
Bodybuilding, fitness, weight training - all on the Generation Iron Fitness Network!

Wow he's such a nice guy, honest and humble! He looks really healthy and happy too. Bless him.. This is how you should retire!
5 1/2 minute video just to say, “ I eat 3 times a day and I’m happy”. Very good ! 👍
Glad the dude is happy and not on a pathway to death. Hope he lives a long time and doesn't go back
Eating is the hardest part of bodybuilding.
There is a balance between eating and digesting.
No it's not. Making + cleaning up and buying the food is. Eating is fucking easy. So is training. I look forward to both.
@@Dr.WhetFarts that’s because you don’t have someone cooking and cleaning for you 😉
He's seems a lot happier and healthier !
Less worries now. Much more relaxed AND more mature. Bodybuilding is a young man's sport as far as putting on size anyway once you reach the age of about 40. Typically if you've learned anything. It's time to start focusing on longevity. Not being big. 😂
Seems because he IS .
@@jameshunt3504 not for me...im over 40
He LOST his FAKE STEROID muscles!
ROIDERS are FAKES!
Stay natural buddy!

I love love love Dennis Wolf!! So humble and nice!!
Losing weight and body fat is much easier imo after just finishing almost 3 months of 4000-5000 calories of clean food I totally get where Dennis is coming from.
That the only thing hated as well. I was eating 6-7 meals a day. Even waking up middle of night to get the last meal. I always felt like crap, my joint were Shot up from all that weight I put on. I put on 35 lbs in 10-11 month span. Crazy thing I got injury and lost all that weight but felt so much better , my knee didn’t hurt. I don’t miss it all and I’m kinda cool how it went down
It's easy to become a slave to it all and in the end little to show for other than misery.
It's all part of growing up my friends. Take care of your health most importantly now.
People like to claim that losing weight is hard but none of them have had to force feed 6 meals a day before.
Both can be difficult. It all depends upon how intense you train, AND losing weight also depends upon insulin resistance AND your bodies ability to deal with starchy carbohydrates. Especially after the age of 35. Or 40.
@@jameshunt3504 I still don’t see how eating less food will ever be as hard as constant forcefeeding
@@imhopelesslyaddictedtofent4266 because you're not over 250 pounds. 🤣
@@jameshunt3504 If you’re 250 pounds you’re gonna lose your weight way faster than any skinny person can gain it
@@imhopelesslyaddictedtofent4266 Not necessarily my friend. Wowwww. How old are you bro?
Listen man I don't mean any disrespect okay but let me just explain to you something I'm 48 years old even though I don't look like it I've been a natural bodybuilder all my life except for when I was injured in the line of duty in Afghanistan Desert Storm herniated my L4 and L5 so I've actually size pretty much all my life except for when I was out of commission part of what I'm trying to explain to you is that as you get older especially for people who are in their late thirties and early forties you have to really be getting your blood work done twice a year minimum in my opinion the reason being is because you can easily become insulin-resistant which means you're wrong the way will not come off as fast as it would if you were in your twenties or early thirties no matter how hard you work especially if you are insulin resistant or pre-diabetic but I'm not here to argue with you I'm just trying to state facts I'm not saying you don't have some valid points but under normal circumstances everyone is different.
For me eating is the worst thing in this sport. And its the most expensive.
I like cutting diet because I eat what is comfortable for me. Bulking diet make huge heartburn for me.
You’re doing it wrong
@@alaefarmestatesllc how? Its easy to get big you have to eat big
Bulking lol you mean getting fat!

Looks healthy and HAPPY
What is trt???
Unless you have some respectable resources, bodybuilding eating is quite the commitment
at least he is honest on his trt. i need it too but i can't get it in ireland :(
No TRT in Ireland... that surprises me. I thought England allowed steroids to some degree???
If a person does a ton of cardio, eats soy instead of beef - I know a guy whose T level was low after that. But maybe HCG and E2 control would be best.

His English has gotten really good and his accent has faded a bit
I thought he was making a comeback now this.
Eating like a BB'er -- make that, OVER EATING like a BB'er -- ain't much fun for most of us. I HATE that feeling of being constantly uncomfortably full. 😒😒🤢🤢
It's all Dorian YATES FAULT!!!! 😂💪🏽👈
Why is it
@@shaungosling6136 lol I'm just being a smartass.
But in all fairness he was the one who really raised the bar when it came to becoming a mass monster
