No wonder his calves never show improvement. He's in denial and doesn't even mention them. His response should have been : "Are you kidding me? My silly looking calves of course"
Look at him in 2007, his calves were not bad and maybe would have gotten better. I believe that nerve damage causes then to atrophy as he got later into his career
Dennis had one of the greatest physiques of all time especially in his area. Everything else was perfect. Massive quads will make anyone’s calves look small.
Dennis Wolf should have big calves just from walking because of all the roids he might have been taking in the past. There are just some people that do not have some muscle growth like they expected. I wish him the best in the future.
Dexter Jackson never had calves, either. He said he tried everything. Obviously, he should have pulled himself up by his bootstaps and "overcome" the problem. I mean you can do anything you want to in life if you just try hard enough, right?? Yeah, purchase calve implants. It's said, Arnold did.
@ilumix led Absolutely, and one of my all time favorites. I'm just quoting his own words. If I were to make a guess, it would be that being a short guy, calves are less relevant to the overall physique. Just a guess. Seems, even the very best have one lagging body part.
@ilumix led Yes, he was. But he did have a weak body part, his stomach-abs. I've seen it before, that separation. But it may be related to injury and not genetics. Other bodybuilders kidded him about it onstage.
@Key 1arda With Arnold, you neve really know. I heard he did, but Arnold is good at looking out for himself. But there were some top tier bodybuilders who did. Shawn Ray was talking about it, that he brought it up at a meeting, and was basically told to keep his mouth shut about it. So, it did happen, and the IFBB let competitors get away with it.
@@carpediem6568 Calf implants are _very_ easy to spot. They do not contract, which makes it rather obvious. Also, Arnold had fully developed calves in the the early 70s, which was before they had that type of procedure available.
@@MrClassicmetal Arnold always had weak legs, nowhere near what pros have today. But back then, everyone had weak legs. Arnold's were notable because they never matched his remarkable upper body. But I don't trust Arnold. And I'm going by what I heard. If other top bodybuilders got away with it, then Arnold could have also, just enough implant to augment the part that's natural.
The title, nor the content asks what was his weakest area, obviously lower legs. But what was hardest for him to build. He never built calves, so he didn't address it.

@@tonycastelli1121 yip you're correct, they definitely got worse after 07 , any idea what would cause nerve damage though?
one of my fav bodybuilders to step on stage!
Yes Dennis had the longest ankles ever starting at the knee.
Some of the best looking quads of all time.
He's a legend
Dennis had one of the greatest physiques of all time especially in his area. Everything else was perfect. Massive quads will make anyone’s calves look small.
He had no calves.
Of all time??? You've gotta be joking. I don't know seriously if he makes top 50.

He's German.
Calf wid out even watchin the vid haha
My bast mucel is my calf they are 2ohalfinch
What about his calves???
Great bodybuilder but yes, the calves were very bad. I doubt that had to do with a lack of work....more likely genetics.
Well, without so much as a mention it's obvious it was an afterthought for him. If you don't bother, you can't blame genetics.
Dennis Wolf should have big calves just from walking because of all the roids he might have been taking in the past. There are just some people that do not have some muscle growth like they expected. I wish him the best in the future.
Calfs then lower lats
He didn´t talk about his calves.

Remember that time some years ago Dennis said he was 100% Natural?
Something about blood, but can't remember the details.
That Shit was hilarious!

Calves. He never had any.
Calves?? Nah lol
Dennis always was miserable in the back, glutes, hamstrings, lower back, calves.
Back? Lol prolly just lower back since he has high lats insertion. His V taper was the best during his prime. Same goes for his insane set of legs.
He had a pretty solid back. Definitely not ‘’miserable”
