Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is a story of brotherhood, patriotism, and betrayal in the most complete sniper experience ever released. Take the role of an American sniper named Jonathan North, who drops into enemy territory in northern Georgia as the country is dissolving into a bloody civil war. Explore large open-world maps with dynamic weather conditions, and a day and night cycle that impacts play and player decision-making. Customize weapons, equipment, accessories, vehicles, and a drone, and utilize the three pillars of gameplay to your liking: Sniper, Ghost, and Warrior. Игры
The debriefing scene in Georgia feels like it came out of a porno.
Not that I mind.
Well not all polish games are polished
This game isn't that bad. I really enjoyed this game.
@Брандон Кeллeр Screw you, not all people have to agree with your opinion
@Брандон КeллeрEvery game is good in its own way. People say that this game is "uninspired", among other things. Yet, if other popular games didn't become popular or even exist, this game becomes "inspired". Or you can view this one as good and others as bad. It's all about perspective, so you can't say that it's bad no matter how many games you play, Brandon.
*CD Projekt RED*
@@PieselOkrutnik no, it's not that bad, but also not that good! :D
"I liked shooting the Sniper in Sniper Ghost Warrior, and I liked the female character's boobs, and I liked when it ended"
Perfect fucking review, that bit was all I needed.
At the 7 minute mark, when you mentioned the mortar strikes having crazy precision, you actually stepped on a land mine. Just saying.
Actually the mine didn’t kill him
To be fair, for an indie game this is a masterpiece.
And I actually like how they take mechanics from several different games and put them together. But yeah, game needs polish, a lot of it.
It's honestly a ridiculous complaint there. There's nothing wrong with taking good elements from other games and using them in your game. Honestly, game doesn't need to be an original snowflake to be good.
@@Tuulos sniper ghost warrior is a underrated series
@@Tuulos Honestly?
@@regriefing1807 Yes
@@Tuulos I agree with you, but at the same time, I can relate to some of the criticism this game received. For me it's not taking other game's elements, it's more how it's incorporated in the game. But I really enjoyed SGW3. For me it's the best in the series. I would give a 7, 7.5/10
Its a miracle this series got a trilogy
chris falcone
City Interactive is somehow still able to cobble money together and make games. That's the miracle here.
chris falcone Gotta give them that, mate. They keep trying, and they never quit.
Eventually, they'll find what sticks.
chris falcone I would have said that 7 years ago. And yet, in that time, CI had released the Sniper Ghost Warrior Trilogy, Enemy Front, and Lords of the Fallen (which they only Co developed and the other developer is going on to make the Surge). CI has cool ideas but they underdeliver every time. They need to try a little harder and focus.
It's actually 4 games: Sniper Art of Victory was the first in 2008, with Ghost Warrior being the sequel.
Believe it or not but Sniper Ghost Warrior 1 & 2 sold over 5 million combined. For a franchise with such small budgets, that's a huge financial success.
Honest to god I fucking loved it. Incidentally most of the performance issues you brought up i didn't experience.
Glad to see budget games are still alive and kicking!
Will you review the maze screensaver for windows 98 next?
That shit was tight. It was originally Windows 95 too, scrub.
holy shit I got owned so hard I should just crawl back to my fathers' mangina
Baffles in silencers do wear out pretty quickly, some get noticably louder after just two shots. Which is why this sort of lone wolf, short range, sniping multiple targets to take an objective kind of deal is basically never done in real life.
Wait a minute, in retrospective isn't it weird that this game is basically a crappy Wildlands knockoff, but it was released just a month after Wildlands?
They must have had someone leaking stuff from Ubi, there is no way this is just a coincidence
The artists that work at CI games need to find a better job, like god damn most of their art is amazing.
7:05 i know this location from the game you stepped on mines and then after you died you can hear mortar coming
honestly, if this game didnt have so many bugs and errors when it came out it would have been a great game, i know its not perfect but when the game works well you can really enjoy it, and the option of choosing the way of making the missions is great, think your movements, the weapons. I know it has been done before but sniper ghost warrior 3 does make a good job with it. i got it on discount with all the dlc and when i was not having bugs, i really enjoyed this game.
if i enjoy homefront the revolution, i think i can enjoy this one too... low standarts for me. Thanks for the reviw sir
H:TR is excellent. As is SGW3.
I enjoyed my time with homefront i bet im going to like this one as well
Tbh, Homefront: The Revolution is not a bad game. But it was hella rushed and the game was basically unplayable on the first trimester. But after the patches, I tottaly recommend it, and on sales, you can find it really cheap
When you play the previous games of the series, this will look to you like an improvement and a better game.
A big reason why the "Sniper Ghost Warrior" franchise is even still a thing is because there's only one other single player sniping franchise; Sniper Elite, especially for console. There's games with sniping, but there's virtually no sniping games, so it fills a niche large enough for CI to stay financially stable. Contracts 1&2 are much better, although CI dropped assisted stance with Contracts 2 for some reason.
I recommend just jumping into Challenge Mode, that's what I did. Stealth Games shine when played on the hardest difficulty and SGW3 is no different.
Wow, didn´t expect this. I was reading a magazine revew just the other day and it got tons of praise.
Gggmanlives could you do a video about your favorite games of all time ? Games that you enjoyed in the past and still can enjoy them now.
Correct me if I'm wrong - do the bullets in that game not leave the shell casing?
I am aware of this game problems, but I still want to play this game, just because I like sniping. I will get it eventually in sale and when they fix some of its technical problems.
M.H GAMING Play sniper elite if you like sniping.
You can't snipe from more than 250 metres.
Evan Delrio I played sniper elite played v2 and 3. Also played sniper ghost warrior 2. I will play sniper elite 4 soon.
Kalsonic, what's this based on? My longest kill is at least above 500m. (Probably from a longer distance, but that's what the achievement is unlocked at, so I forget.)
Thanks for the heads up, saves me some money. Love your stuff!
i got into the sniper series because i wanted a game that focused mostly on sniping with the influence of distance and wind. This game appears to get away from that. Despite how pleasing it is to hear the crunch of a bullet going through someones helmet, I still never managed to beat either of the games. Kinda felt like a gimmick that was incredibly pleasing at first but the rest of the game is uninteresting to me personally as someone who just wanted a fun sniper sim. good review, i was curious about this game
That cos you play it on easy or normal at most.
surprised about this, forgot about this series and forgot that a third was released, just bought all 3 for 5 quid and check this out
(roughly)
SGW 1 = 7 GB
SGW 2 = 6 GB
SGW 3 = 57 GB
all that open world data and for wut
for the record i loved the first for nostalgia
great review even 7 years later. this video feels ahead of its time in the way you make ur points
Wait, wait, wait, There's no multiplayer?! That was one of the coolest parts of the previous games, unbelievable.
We live in a world where there's a sniper ghost warrior trilogy but no half-life trilogy
Oh man, that is the most fucking cliché-ish title for a video game xD
Agreed!
dude i love watching your reviews for new games! i usually go off your reviews rather than ign or gamespot. i mean i never planned on buying this game, but i like watching the reviews for games i dont even plan on getting. and watching your review compared to ign is like night and day. same with outlast 2, ign gave that an 8.5! keep up the good work man!
i liked this game, sniper cams, the suppressor health system, and the theme, i have seen others use the same arguments in those parts
Just dropping a comment to say that out of my 107 subscriptions, you channel is probably the one I watch the most and I thoroughly enjoy all the content you put out. So glad I found it last year. Keep up the good work mate!

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 launches today - but without its planned multiplayer portion.
Developer CI Games has previously spoken about the game's multiplayer - several maps for it are included in the game's season pass. But play the game today and you'll find it's not included.
Instead, multiplayer modes will be released via an update at some point in the future.
Love this review, thank you. Too many games nowadays are same old same old.
Loved this game when it came out, remembered following it before it even came out
jesus christ, this review is already a fooken month pld already, time flies really fast
Gman, do you know if there is an option to turn off the bullet drop indicator? That orange dot.
Ghost81 there isn't. The game lacks options. But u can remove it by playing on highest difficulty. It also removes tagging with drones.
Figures. It was the same in Sniper Ghost Warrior 1: i had to play on hard just so sniping would require some skill, and the game was completely broken on hard.
Clearing outposts? Last time I tried that, the enemies respawned upon returning there 10 minutes later. Even that didn't work for me.
love your videos!
yeah thats me. one of my head shots
Thank you sir for the review
Have you considered reviewing the Sniper Elite series? It started out a little rough but the last couple installments have been quite well-polished and beefy.
"The truth is in the pudding"? are you fucking kidding me
No. No I'm not.
You don't believe in pudding.
can't snipe from 250m, no lean mechanic and to top it off 5 minute loading times.
true next gen gaming sniping experience 2017
first of all you can snipe further than 250m, second there is somewhat of a leaning mechanic, third my game loads in 13-20 seconds and you have a pc from stoneage
@@soltergames lmao
I think u are a little bit to harsh ! Like I said before, just because this game has some similarity to other games doesn't mean its bad. Sure this game is not perfect and it has some problems, but I took this game for a lot of thing that was done right and I enjoyed this game a lot ! =)
This game was trash
@@pp3k3jamail I have to say it: you are trash
Will you do a video on Forsaken?
The way you say “SONNY Jim” gets me every time. It’s like 3 mannerisms away from Walken.
3:58: Why was I expecting her to say "Hammer time!" there? O.o
ive only just started the video but please tell me you mention the atrocious bullet model. It still has the fucking shell on it
Serious question - If they released patches which fixed every visual glitch, would it improve the score/be worth buying?
Sure.
The whole franchise is just a poor mans version of Sniper Elite.
Review that series please mein sonny lord!
Everytime you say Sniper Elite someone is reinstalling first game right now.
Like Deus Ex or VtM Bloodlines.
Sniper Elite is a poor mans version of Sniper Elite
Comparing Sniper Elite with Deus Ex and Bloodlines should be a felony.
A.G.M Fucking idiot.
Maybe Sniper Ghost Warrior was inspired by Sniper Elite but in my opinion it isn't a poor mans version of it because Sniper Ghost Warrior is just better
I love how RUclips picks up these kind of game sequels as the previous game in the series because they are so similar.
Ty for sharing :)
I thought that the slow-motion bullet cam stuff was trade marked by Rebellion. I guess I was wrong.
Which would you say is better, this or Homefront 2?
Also will you Review Carnivores Dinosaur Hunter when it gets Released on Steam or GOG?
CyborgParrot both are equal.
Probably Homefront 2 if I had to pick one.
I'll tell you playing this why Sonny Jim for our amusement
How about reviewing Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time? I would love to see your take on a non-shooting classic.
I was thinking of buying this since I love sniping and it was on a massive sale. But thanks to this complete lad. I saved myself from that mistake
Hey would you ever consider reviewing the socom series?
Probably not.
Is that Kevin Spacey @ 3:40?
This reminds me a lot to Homefront revolution all over again, which also release this month last year
I heard they're planning to patch in the multiplayer later.
Man ths is like the 7th video of his that i hear him mentioning Ruben Sandwiches, not gonna lie, im gonna make one rn
Please do Quake Arcane Dimensions sometime in your Mod Corner series.
gggmanlives is gearing up for Strafe!!
Gonna be honest picked up the ultimate edition for 15$ and I am very happy with my purchase haven’t ran into any bugs or anything and the game has ran smooth only annoying thing is when I first boot the game up it loads like I’m playing gta 5 but when I start playing I’m good to go
Hey, even though they're not FPS games, you should totally review the Sniper Elite series.
Didn't expect anything of this game and it managed to disappoint
Gggmanlives, thanks for the great content. I know you generally tend to stay away from Xbox titles, but would you consider doing a video review of Far Cry Instincts: Predator for Xbox 360? I personally like the main story (not the weak second story) better than the original Far Cry and although it is a flawed game it has a lot of cool and interesting elements to it considering when it came out
Hey, they finally got that Multiplayer mode added. Game of the year.
Our lord, Gggmanlives, has truly blessed us a new video. Praise the Sonny Jim!
I love how the bullets are still in their casings when they are fired. That's a glorious oversight.
Three years later I got this for 3 dollars. Isn't that something lol
Pick it up on steam summer sale and despite its flaws, its pretty good game for its price.
Why that bald guy with fur coat jacket in 4:15 looks like Psycho from Crysis3?
sees "Why Am I Even Playing This"
this gon be gud
like someone else said on a comment a week, "This game is this year's homefront"..... so true!
5:04 I get to *choose* to specialize as a Sniper. In a game called Sniper. I get the idea, customization is great and all that, but that feels so dissonant and wrong. It's like have a skill tree for sneaking in Thief.
An honest review, thanks!
It seemed like most people wanted to hate this game before it even released. And it is very true that there are alot of bugs and stupid stuff that should of been fixed, but I'm hoping it will be a lot better in like 2 months. Even if it's not, I've been having a ton of fun playing it, plus it's only $50, and to be honest I don't want to live in a world where Ubisoft or EA Are the only ones trying to make open world games. Thanks for the review G-man!
Love this game! Tried after contracts 1 and 2 and actually think this is better.
For the rare kind that are in the new section, would you say that this is worth $7.49 if I liked the second game?
Defently. The sniping itself feels incredible good. Sure theres a lot of bad stuff, but if you just look for sniping bad guys, you will get your fun out of the game, trust me
You haven't tried the armor piercing bullets that make the heads explode!
Kind of a fun game for just raw sniping. It wasn't the best but setting up your bipod on a huge tower and taking out an entire bast with a single rifle was super fun. Plu the pistols are satisfying. Needs more work for sure though.
Sniper Elite review when my sonny lord!?
Never.
Gggmanlives why?
Immense Data stale as well
Why :(
He doesn't review third person shooters
I really enjoyed this game and I give it a 7 out of 10. It does feel a bit rough around the edges and the voice acting is a bit off but overall, it's a decent game and if you're itching for a sniper game, this is a good time.
I have a feeling this game is the exact kind of game soccer moms think of when they think of video games
Forest look super but when you get in town it feels like some 2000 game
I thought this was Ghost Recon: Wildlands. That's how much of a shit I give about these games.
You gave enough of a shit to comment and pretend you don't.
Would you be interested in reviewing Stalker Call of Chernobyl? It's a mod that combines all the three games maps into one package with a sandbox+optional story mode. Raycevick did a pretty good video on it with the mods he used.
Not really.
Why don't you try UTOPIA CITY ? a cyber-punk, Sci-fy action, (open world perhaps) shooter ? I am really interested what your thoughts on this game are @Gggmanlives
I got an ad for Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 before the video.
5:44
LOL I thought this was the Sniper Elite series!
No those games are actually good. haha
Skullkid Majora lol, that's what I thought!
There is suppose to be a multiplayer later this year
sniper elite 1 review?
2nd playthrough and AGAIN my save game disappeared in Act 4, just after saving Raquel. Fortunately (or so I thought) I made tons and tons of backups from saves at many points in the game. What I noticed is that whenever the game fucks up finding the save the globaldata file gets reset. I tried to load a backup save but same thing happens it just resets globaldata no matter what backup I use. This waste of time and harddisk space goes in the trash bin, I refuse to play it a 3rd time if they can't deliver a game that properly works. So glad I ripped it from a torrent site, or I would've wasted €55, and for what?
I have the first Sniper Ghost warrior for Xbox360 and oh dear... You should try it. =)
Is there a good game on the CryEngine?
Crysis 2 and 3 are good.
I think that the gaming market is just so stale, and we've done everything to death, it's just... dead... A game like this is the stock, vanilla, generic game I think of when I see a trailer for a new FPS game, anymore. I'm probably jaded in thinking that older games just had the charm and fun, because they were made by people that enjoyed their craft, and did it for fun. Now, it's either corporate crank-out, or hipster horseshit, so, finding and making a good game is near-impossible.
Eh, at least tits and violence made it semi-enjoyable for you... can't go wrong with either of those, simply because those are two things have been entertaining, since the dawn of time... Too bad the game didn't have a Ruben sandwich, somewhere, because I'm sure that'd make it at least tolerable.
K12machinima that picture doesnt make you sound biased at all. There are so many great modern games released every year you just have to be bothered to look around a bit. Its like claiming modern music is shit just by judging from mainstream pop songs.
Of course. The only only problem is, finding something unique and fun is just very time-consuming. The general formula for a game now is just so cookie-cutter and generic, you're either going to get a game that's got forced RPG-like mechanics, open world, proceduraly generated, early-access, zombie survival, 8bit, or the movie shooter. Not saying these games are bad, just stale, and it's hard to find a good game when they all seem the same; these games appeal to people, just like everything that is a product, and thus, they need to be sold.
Bias, maybe, but my favorite games (as of now) are mainly pioneers of their genre. NetHack, Doom, Diablo 2, Daggerfall, Dark Souls 1, Mortal Kombat (any of them), and tons of others. These games were innovative and experimental for their time, and prove the test of time, and their "clones" (rouge-likes, Hexen, Path of Exile) tread similar ground, but are distinct enough to be different than their source material, and still hold on their own. It's like having a beautiful sandwich from a unique diner, and then trying to make it at home: you've been so spoiled by the source, and nothing will seem to satisfy quite like the original.
In terms of music, I'd say it's easy to judge mainstream music in the same way, or anything for that matter. As a musician, myself, making something new and interesting is very difficult, especially because the sound of music may be ever-changing, but you're always going to sound like something, or what you started as. Mainstream music, itself, isn't bad, it's the fans that make it bad, and the "bad" reputation some bands draw to themselves; society and the softening of our culture is also what made mainstream music garbage, with bands afraid to embrace something experimental and unique, or break away from the same, sterile, boring safe-zone of standing on stage and not moving or saying anything, for fear of triggering all the social justice warriors and fem-nazis, because they said "bitch" in their new single.
We need a game that's good. We need our Dooms. We need our Far Cries. We need our Call of Duties. We need our Minecrafts. We need our Gears of Wars. We need our Dark Souls. We need our Half-Lives. We need to set the bar: not hang onto the bar, just because it works.
And then we see people making the nostalgia argument for older games like Doom despite the fact that argument is silly and invalid since Doom is still played to death today with perhaps the healthiest modding scene of all time after two decades and is just glorious good fun. Its definitely not nostalgia when the vanilla game alone destroys the vast majority of modern games today.
This may be weird to say but I also think price has a large part to do with the liking and disliking of games now more than ever.
If this game was $15 or $20 I don't think people would hate on it as much - and that point of view is validated by GGgman saying the 75% off at the end of the vid a well. But if you charge $50-$60 your game better be the next coming of Jesus or people will be negative on it.
What I am saying is that game companies can totally make games like this, I don't mind them and can get some enjoyment out of them, but they better be priced accordingly.
It's the polish, the soul, the fun, and the simplicity of Doom that makes it so great, as well as how it integrates new enemies and concepts almost each level, both in Doom 1 and 2.
I tried to play the first Sniper Ghost Warrior game because I thought that it looked like a pretty fun game, but I couldn't because it didn't allow for any keyboard rebinding.
I love this series but sometimes it can be bad but I really like the series for some reason.
